The Incomplete Love

The Incomplete Love
New Sheet Without You

Early in the morning Qiara was getting ready. He plans to leave early for breakfast at a cafe recommended by Stephanie.

After that he will take a bus to the city center and look for interior designer office owned by Mario.

It went into the store, the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the entire room, mixed with the aroma of uploading coffee.

“You can't order coffee. Greet the waiter from behind the serving table.”

“Hai! And can you tell me why can't I order coffee?”

“Not good for it, little baby in your belly.” The tall, blue-eyed handsome man picked up the mug and filled it with warm tea.

“Kok you know I'm pregnant? Is it visible?”

Suddenly Stephanie appears from the kitchen.

“Well good morning my dear Qiara. Can you sleep well last night?” Stephanie greeted him kindly.

“Alhamdulillaah's chat. Very quiet, Steph. So, this is your cafe?”

“Nope! Got my naughty youngest. Name's Jeremy. I graduated high as a programmer, even choosing to be a cake baker.”

The man named Jeremy laughed loudly at his mother's grumbling.

“One delicious chocolate croissant for the lovely lady,” she said while giving a plate containing a fat chocolate croissant teasing.

“Thanks, I sat there, yes,” Qiara replied as she picked up the plate and mug.

“No. For you, there’s a special seat. Here ...” Jeremy delivered Qiara to the table beside the window.

“From here you can see the city center over there and the hills in the opposite direction. Enjoy the view with the best croissant in town.” Jeremy left it to greet the new customer.

While enjoying breakfast, Qiara opened a portfolio of projects that had been and are still being worked on. He designed punch-lines in each of his works that could impress Mario.

Qiara stopped when she opened a file containing a project that made her meet Thoriq. A hotel lounge in Sudirman. His hand clicked on the file containing the photos. The woman was stunned to see the photos of all the workers including herself and Thoriq.

He felt that Thoriq as the head of the project always wanted to be close to him. He also secretly put his heart on the handsome-faced project leader. Unlike other project leaders, Thoriq's skin appears pure white, his eyes are soothing, his nose is sharp, his chin is slightly split.

Qiara subconsciously felt the screen touch the face of Thoriq pictured there.

“So that’s the guy.” Qiara furthest unknowingly Stephanie was already standing behind her.

Qiara nodded.

“Yup, the man who made me fall in love half-dead but also broke my heart to pieces. Father of the child in my womb.”

“Forward step by step, Dear. Memories will always come, the important thing is that your heart must always be strong. You're beautiful, still young. Kindness comes out of your face. Grab what you can, let go of what you have to let go. Including him.” Stephanie sat in front of Qiara.

Qiara nodded with a smile.

“By the way, this Jeremy croissant is amazing loh, the chocolate melted but not too liquid.”

“Ssh don't be hard. I don't want him to have a big head. He gave up a job with a salary of tens of thousands of dollars to become a cook,” Stephanie stared annoyed at her son who is now serving customers at the serving table.

“He’s good at it,” reply Qiara while sipping warm tea.

“You should try his Osso bucco. Even the Italians lost. Come here Saturday night if you are not busy. That menu will be a special menu.”

“In shaa Allah, I will.” Qiara got up while saying thank you. He walked to the counter to pay.

“So, my mother must have told me about the thousands of dollars salary job I gave up to be a cook?”

“And osso bucco,” gelak Qiara. Both giggle. Qiara handed over some money sheets to pay.

“Thanks, are these buns there until night? I want to buy it for breakfast tomorrow morning,” asked Qiara while preparing to leave for the city center.

“Ah, you make my heart sad, I give you the best table, instead you want to buy for take-away?”

Qiara smiled widely, she was already planning breakfast in front of the big window in her apartment, enjoying the morning view.

“Don't worry, later tonight I'll hang on your apartment door my best bread.”

“How should I pay?”

“This time kutraktir. Not GR, next time I'll charge you. Now depart, bus number 32 will pass soon. Get off at stop 5, it's downtown. You're going to Mario's office, right?”

“You know Mario?” Qiara.

“Marianne used to live at my mother's house in college. Well he and Mario, you know ..” Jeremy raised his eyebrows with a ignorant look.

“If you feel alone, come to this cafe. Stephanie always invites her friends to hang out here. You will get a lot of stories. Already, leaving there if you do not want to miss the bus,” connect the man again as it passes to serve other customers.

Qiara shook her head while deeply, “Not him who from earlier said.”

A pair of eyes followed Qiara.

“She is still the wife of Jer people,” muttered Jeremy removing the hope that suddenly poked in her heart.

“Ah you must be Qiara, nice to meet you. Marianne has told me many good things about you,” greet a man named Mario.

(You must be Qiara. It's nice to meet you. Marianne told me a lot of good things about you.)

Qiara nodded and replied, “Thank you for your time, Sir.”

(Thank you for the time you gave me, Sir.)

“Please, call me Mario. I'll call Julia, my wife. We built this office together.”

Mario invites Qiara into the meeting room. Qiara immediately fell in love with the interior design office owned by Mario and Julia. Modern and classic design blends beautifully. Mario puts simple furniture with straight lines, but maintains an old brick profile throughout the walls of the room.

MJ interior design has handled clients in Australia, Indonesia, UK, Dubai. Being part of this company will give Qiara the opportunity to work on giant projects.

“Sit down, Julia will be here soon.”

Qiara prepared her tablet to open the files that she would display.

A pregnant woman with brown hair entered the room. Her face looked fresh, but her pregnancy was already quite large.

“Hi! I'm Julia, Marianne's told me a lot of good things about you. Let's start.”

Qiara immediately liked Julia who looked resolute but still friendly.

Without wasting any time, Qiara displayed all the projects he had worked on and were still going on. His straightforward and cheerful style makes Mario and Julia carried into the sensation of every room designed by Qiara.

For about an hour they listened to Qiara and discussed many things. Mario wants to get into hotels in Bali. They see Qiara can handle clients in Indonesia.

Hiding the panic of not wanting to return to Indonesia in the near future, Qiara replied diplomatically, “I think, Indonesia needs a new trend for interior design, while I … I can bring an Indonesian ethnic touch to projects in Melbourne.”

Mario seemed to think. “You're right. Well, thanks for coming. Soon we will give you news.”

After thanking Mario and Julia, Qiara immediately set out to meet another client at Marianne's behest.

Qiara looked at her watch. It's lunchtime, the promise is still one in the afternoon. His stomach is getting hungry.

“Darling, you make Buna easy laper, nih. We ate at McD first yes, later tonight Buna cooked a real meal for us.”

Qiara ordered a standard meal, he had to be good at sniffing if he wanted to survive in this famously expensive city. After he was full, he walked towards the address that secretary Marianne gave him.

Seeing a considerable distance from the map application, Qiara replaced the flat shoes he wore with sneakers.

“Ah this is more convenient,” murmur is satisfied. The young pregnant woman walked slowly, occasionally rubbing her lower abdomen which sometimes felt pain.

“Strength, yes Son. Let Buna work first.”

After thirty minutes of walking, Qiara arrived at his client's office building. After reporting to the officer, he immediately boarded to meet with the hotel owner.

They discussed spatial plans suitable for their hotels in several cities in Australia. Qiara threw fresh ideas, occasionally drawing on tablets to give his clients a look.

It doesn't feel like it's late afternoon. The hotel owners have ended their meeting although there are still many plans to discuss. Qiara promised to submit the plan as soon as possible and make a presentation in front of the hotel owner.

Exiting the office building, Qiara stared at the road that had to be passed towards the bus stop. After replacing flat shoes with sneakers, the two-bodied woman walked slowly for thirty minutes to take the bus to her home for forty minutes.

Upon arrival at the apartment, Qiara felt sore all over. His waist was breaking, his toes were screaming. He looked at his apartment.

“Just you and me, kiddo. We can.”

The woman sat on the couch. Within minutes, he had fallen asleep, unaware that someone was knocking on the door and hanging a bag of croissants and bread.

Thoriq sat listlessly in his study. Today he again received a strong reprimand from his superiors for not focusing on work.

Besides thinking about Qiara, he had to obey Hanna's request to rub the pregnant woman's back to sleep.

Hanna would wake up if Thoriq fell asleep from exhaustion and asked her husband to rub his back. She didn't care if her husband worked hard all day.

“Sorry Mr. Thoriq, someone delivered this.” An employee put an envelope on his desk.

The net was blurred when reading the cupping on the white envelope: Religious Court of South Jakarta.
