CHAPTER 107

Along the way to the police station Diko and Riana drowned in silence. Each is struggling with his own mind.

Diko tries to focus on the steering and the streets behind her emotions that feel like they have reached the crown. While Riana is trying to control herself to stay calm, she also prepares herself to be strong when faced directly with Devi.

Diko turned to his wife, then took Riana's hand to his chest. Grasped and held. Although he was speechless, at least he wanted Riana to know that he would always protect his wife.

"When did you investigate this?" ask Riana suddenly.

"Hmm, since the police do not continue this case anymore, just stop until the perpetrator. They are not looking further for the mastermind behind it all" Diko explained. He felt that there was nothing more he needed to cover from Riana.

"I just wanted to close all that bitterness. But now it must be faced with this reality" said Riana.

"It felt like it was all a nightmare where I wanted to wake up and everything was back to how it was" he continued, glaring.

Diko did not know what to answer, he could only stroke his wife's hand to strengthen. Because her feelings are now mixed, between relief, emotions, and fear if Riana finally hates herself because of this.

Arriving at the police station, Ferdy and the legal team for the case immediately welcomed them.

"Thank you all for moving fast and taking care of this with the maximum" said Diko with gratitude.

"It's our job, brother. In accordance with your request, the perpetrator has been secured and is inside" Ferdy replied.

They immediately drove Diko and Riana inside. Turns out Devi is still in the examination stage by the authorities.

Riana and Diko were also examined for her testimony. Although during the process Riana repeatedly almost again exposed paranoid attacks. But because of his strong determination, he always tried to fight back and Diko always tried to calm him down.

After about two hours of finishing the examination, they were finally finished and immediately taken to a room with transparent glass walls visible from the outside.

There are two male policemen, and Devi is seen sitting on a chair with her hands cuffed. When entering the room, Riana's heart was getting worse. But he believed that he was strong and could get through all of this. He also suggested that he should be calm.

Seeing Devi's face from a distance already made Diko's heart boil. Years of never seeing each other, when he met this moment he wanted to feel like he killed that woman.

Diko and Riana sat opposite Devi, just bordered a table. Riana looked at Devi's slightly bowed face. Devi remains in its elegance despite being in a state of decline like this. No wonder so many people are crazy about him. But indeed until now he is reportedly not married, even though his career is quite good.

Riana usually always respect and respect every time she meets him, but this time she no longer has these feelings. Now there is only a feeling of disappointment and anger but tucked away a little bit of disbelief and hope this is all a mistake.

Without being able to hold back her emotions, Diko who had just sat down directly scolded Devi with her snaps.

"Your bastard!! What do you mean, plan all this?Huh uh?!" snarled Diko hard.

Devi was still silent without a word. He was still slightly bowed as if unable to look at the two.

"Don't just shut up!! Answer!!" said Diko no less loudly while forward clutching Devi's jaw.

"Let go!!" scream Devi in pain.

Luckily Riana and the police immediately appeased Diko and asked not to use physical violence.
