The Invited Heart Guest
CHAPTER 9

Diko parked his car in his office yard. He pensively for a moment.

Squeezing the stir he was holding while closing his eyes. His heart is completely fucked. This morning his mood dropped because he thought about his father's words earlier.

His feet came down from the car. Then he went into his office.

Diko is an architect. He and Joehanssen, friends during his college years, founded a professional architecture firm called D' Nuansen. This company is not too big but fairly successful for the category of companies that have only been established for 4 years. Diko and Joe pioneered this venture from zero to the present. Starting from the two of them, now they have 24 employees who work for them in this company.

Diko spent all his savings he had accumulated by working in a foreign company for 5 years to join co-founding D' Nuansa with Joe. Therefore, no wonder Diko is always focused on working. Because he knew, how difficult it was to pioneer all this from the beginning so that Diko wanted to always be total in work.

Diko went into his room. It looks like Joe is discussing with an employee of the interior design section. Diko continued to step up and sat at his desk.

Indeed, Diko and Joe space, to facilitate them in working and making decisions

Joe glanced at his best friend. A flat face without a smile. Joe continued his discussion.

Until Joe is done. He turned back to look at Diko. It looks like Diko is focusing on her laptop screen.

He does not want to disturb Diko who is working, let his best friend focus on his laptop. Even though he was actually curious why Diko looks uninspired today.

Diko was focusing on her laptop screen, but her mind drifted everywhere. He tries to concentrate but he can't.

He took a deep breath and leaned his body on his soft work chair. He closed his eyes to calm his mind.

Joe who saw what Diko was doing was immediately convinced that something was wrong. He immediately stood up and sat in the chair in front of Diko.

"Lu why? Any issues?" joe asked to open the conversation.

In her brain raging that if Tia had to fail to marry because she could not find a soul mate, Tia would have hated her. Tia must be disappointed. Diko didn't want that to happen.

Diko breathed a heavy sigh and pulled her seat close to the table so that now she faced Joe.

"Is the standard of happiness of the parent the marriage of his child?" said Diko with a glaring look.

Joe was silent and astonished at his best friend's question.

"Do they think marriage guarantees happiness?" continued.

"There is still a lot of happiness other than marriage, and the marriage will also use the process, not perfunctory" he said while folding both hands to the chest.

Joe began to understand where the sahabant talks were headed.

"Lu asked to get married soon?" ask Joe to make sure.

"Tia plans to marry next month because her future husband will move duties. Because her future husband is a soldier, so it will be difficult to permit if new placement. Especially out of town for days. And bokap nyokap ga ngeizinin me to step in. They asked me to marry before or with Tia" he explained at length to Joe.

"The problem is that I can't decide to get married that fast" he continued.

"By the way you have a candidate?" asked Joe who was curious, because Diko had not had a boyfriend for a long time.

"If I had, I wouldn't be confused with Joe" he answered, scratching his head without itching.
