CHAPTER 14

Riana was a little surprised by Diko's suddenly sweet attitude, not jutek like yesterday-yesterday. But to be honest Riana was pleased with Diko's presence this afternoon.

After bathing and getting dressed, Riana came out of her room. Seen Diko who was still sitting waiting then stood up because of the presence of Riana.

Diko watched Riana from head to toe, for some reason her heart was beating faster than usual.

Riana looks fresh with a knee-length jeans dress combined with strappy teplek sandals make her look relaxed and fresh.

"Udah ready? yuk" asked Diko to Riana who looks like she is locking the door to her room.

"Yep" he replied as he walked along.

In the car, they were still awkward and did not say much. Both are confused as to what to talk about.

"Ri, do you have any good food ideas around here?" tanya Diko started the conversation.

"Hmm, what yes.. A lot of the truth, actually" he answered while looking left and right.

"Would you try eating at the shabu restaurant in front of that?" riana asked while pointing towards the front right of the road.

"If I think it's really good" he continued.

"Well, I've never tried anything here" Diko replied excitedly.

Diko also parked his car in the parking lot of the restaurant. It looks quite crowded because the time shows the dinner hour. Fortunately, there are still some empty places.

They immediately entered and chose a comfortable seat for them. Soon a waitress came along with a menu book.

Diko and Riana instantly chose some of their shabu menu and fresh drinks to complement their dinner at the time.

While waiting for their order to come, Diko was seen thinking of trying to open the chat again.

"Hmm, Ri, where do you work besides teaching at Unphar?" tanya Diko melts the atmosphere.

"I work at Graha Cipta, the financial section" he replied with a smile.

"Ooh, I know the building is not far from here" said Diko sure.

Riana nodded.

"Great you can work in such a company, the financial part as well" said Diko.

"You are better, you can make your own architectural company" Riana replied.

Riana laughed looking at the astonished Diko.

"Pak Ridwan once told me about it and I still remember" Riana replied honestly.

"Ah but not so big Ri, still need to work hard to be bigger" replied Diko low.

"Should be grateful, right?" riana reminded Diko.

Diko blushed and smiled hearing Riana's words.

Shortly after, a waiter came to deliver the shabu materials they had ordered.

They both look busy cooking shabu-shabu ingredients while occasionally chatting and joking. It seemed like the atmosphere in between seemed to have melted and flowed away.

After half an hour had passed, the two of them had finished dinner.

"Duh, I am full Ri. Really good this shabunya, do not choose you wrong" said Diko while stroking her stomach that bulged.

Riana laughed looking at Diko's full expression.

"Oh yeah, hmmm.you're her age, hmm I mean.. I'm not good at 'me you' doang, afraid not polite," said Riana curious.

"I'm 30 road 31 years old. I'm old yak" replied Diko with a cry.

"Make me not polite from earlier call him you you just" said Riana unkindly.

"Just relax Ri, you can call me anything. At my sister's house call me Mas Diko" said Diko.

"Ooh yaudah, let's not be weird, I call Mas aja ya" said Riana blushed.

Diko smiled looking at Riana's expression. He knew Riana was still awkward with him. Maybe because of their poor start.

'But it's true Joe said, by being kind to women, the woman will also be kind to us' bathin Diko.

He also felt that Riana was a different Riana from their previous meeting. Riana like this was more beautiful and sweet in front of her.

Diko realizes that Riana is a kind and humble person. No wonder her father introduced herself to Riana. He now knows the reason why his father chose Riana among many other single lecturers.

But to this day he still tries. May her heart open for Riana.
