The Legend of the Sacred Sword Cultivator

The Legend of the Sacred Sword Cultivator
Ch 11: Journey to Xemin City

Since Yang Jian did not have much time he planned to solve his problem quickly, yet he had as much as possible to hide his prowess in front of everyone because that was the message of the father. So he didn't want to end it all in the way of those cultivators but in a good way.

Xiao Ming was afraid that it would harm Yang Jian, not for no reason did Xiao Ming have such thoughts he quite knew of the selfish and greedy nature of man.

Yang Jian started by using the guanghuan science of Xiao Ming's teachings, guanghuan was the science of suppressing opponents with just an aura alone.

Yang Jian slowly flowed a bit of qi throughout his body to the point that Yang Jian's entire body was scoped up by a qi that could only be seen and felt by him and a second later on it turned into a guanghuan aura.

This science is similar to a murderous aura but guanghuan science is much stronger, it can even kill opponents easily if the practice is low. This science cannot be seen but has considerable effects.

Yang Jian only took out his guanghuan by thirty percent and aimed only at Gong Fu but Gong Fu had already fallen to his knees, his legs trembling. Cold sweat began to wet his forehead. Gong Fu started biting the lip of the tip of his lips to maintain his already diminished consciousness.

Gong Fu felt a heavy weight on his shoulders, he saw Yang Jian like he was looking at a life-seeking angel, even to stare at Yang Jian's blue-eyed bead he was unable to. This was because Gong Fu's practice level was still at the early stages of a master with a weak foundation.

From this it was clear that Gong Fu was relying only on resources to raise his level of practice and not on the foundation of his body.

The people who saw the arrogant merchant Gong Fu kneeling before the teenager were shocked, their jaws dropped and thought that this was just a dream. But they realized that everything was real before their eyes.

"Dad, what are you doing?" Gong Ou who did not feel Yang Jian's guanghuan was confused to see his father's treatment. He tried to get to his father to help him stand up.

He did not want to lose his pride any further if he saw that his father was also unable to deal with Yang Jian. Gong Fu however did not budge, although Gong Ou had already attempted to use his qi to spare Gong Fu yet it was still not enough to stop Gong Fu from kneeling down.

Yang Jian again added to the strength of his guanghuan aura to pressure Gong Fu to have Gong Ou stop and give up on helping Gong Fu.

"Sa-I have eyes but cannot see the greatness of the young master, please punish this old man." Gong Fu spoke while looking down, he truly regretted the carelessness he had committed. He was truly doomed to the stupidity of his son who had been wrongly looking for an opponent.

The mysterious boy before him had completely ruined his reputation at this moment, it seemed like he would no longer have the face to suppress the people in the village from this point on.

"But dad, he's been brave..."

"Shut up, quickly apologize to the young master." Gong Fu interrupted his son's words. He alone was unable to deal with Yang Jian how could they still want to raise objections against the mysterious boy.

Yang Jian remained silent looking at them, the people around them wondering what was really going on. However Yang Jian paid no heed to them he pulled back his guanghuan then passed away without saying a word.

Gong Fu was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Dad, what exactly happened. Why did father let him go" Gong Ou asked with an annoyed look on his face.

Gong Fu hit Gong Ou on the head. His emotions had completely reached the crown and another second would burn Gong Ou to dust.

"Foolish base, it's good he left without carrying your head. Hurry home and take the punishment from dad." Gong Fu forced his son's hand to leave.

Gong Fu no longer looked at the people who were still faithfully watching their show, he did not even have a face anymore just to straighten his head.

When he was about to get out of the gate of Jizeng village, Yang Jian met with a group of merchants who wanted to bring merchandise to sell to the city of Xemin, the merchant consisted of 10 people carrying three large carts with each cart guarded by three people and the other was the leader of the merchant entourage.

"Sorry Master, my name is Yang Jian, would you like to invite me to your entourage?" Yang Jian said politely.

The merchants looked at each other and coded for answers to Yang Jian's request.

"Are you a cultivator?" The leader of the entourage tried to speak to Yang Jian he saw the sword on Yang Jian's back.

"True sir, and I was wandering. If you don't mind my permission to come." Yang Jian was actually confused by the merchant's question. Is his identity in need even if just hitchhiking during the trip? When Yang Jian knew the direction he also did not have to bother depending on others.

"Alright, but you'll have to help if any of the robbers come in the way." The leader of the troupe replied to Yang Jian's request. He said it was fine to add people to help on the trip.

Increasing one person means increasing one chance to survive. That was their thinking, let alone Yang Jian despite being so young yet he was a cultivator. Better than those who are just ordinary people.

Yang Jian nodded softly he already knew that nothing would be free, yet he did not expect that his thoughts were on target, humans had always taken advantage of others for their own sake. Yang Jian shook his head slowly said the father' thought Yang Jian.

Yang Jian's entourage departed, the merchant leader explained that their goal was to head for Xemin city, otherwise there was a possible obstacle they would arrive tomorrow before sunset.

Yang Jian nodded, along the way he just stayed inside the carriage while reading Xiao Ming's handbook.

Meanwhile the merchants continued to chatter without disturbing Yang Jian.

Every now and then Yang Jian looked around to remember every road they went through, so that the suatau when later could make it easier for Yang Jian to pass through this place again.

Yang Jian also did not let down the slightest bit of his vigilance towards the surroundings. Living side by side with the demons was enough to make Yang Jian to always be vigilant twenty-four hours even in deep sleep.
