The Legend of the Sacred Sword Cultivator
73: Yang Shui

"Don't waste my time Yang Shui." Not yet had the girl speak further, the empress snapped out in a loud tone. The stick he held in his right hand he pointed at an urn on the table. Instantly the urn was smashed into pieces and made the entire palace hall inching back two steps, except for Yang Shui who was getting down in fear.

"He, he is a dragon who lives at the foot of the mountain, Mother." Yang Shui replied softly without daring to look at the empress' face.

"What kind of a joke is this, do you think you're talking to a kid?" The queen's anger seemed to be growing, her teeth were grinding withholding emotions.

"I didn't lie to you, she did. No, we did it."

"Even the boy knows that there is no marriage between man and beast. And you know very well about that too." Said the empress while pointing at Yang Shui using his staff.

Yang Shui did not reply, he was speechless with a weak body. Her hair is ruffled. Even the crown of the queen he always wore had fallen on the floor.

"You're dirty, you've been tarnished. And as a result of your actions, the Clan that has been dirty and tarnished." The empress' voice was slower than before, yet her words seemed to emphasize a deep disappointment.

"You disappointed Shui'er's mother." A drop of clear crystal fell from the corner of the empress' eyes. Seeing that Yang Shui was getting even more crying. He turned towards his mother and hugged her feet while saying an apology.

"Free, you apologize a thousand times won't be able to bring it all back. You won't be able to turn back time and correct your mistakes." The empress removed her legs from Yang Shui's embrace. He lifted his wand into the air and then exclaimed.

"With this, I am the empress of the Yang Clan, will punish Her Majesty Queen Yang Shui for his actions that have desecrated the Clan. He's kuhukum..."

"Wait for the queen." Suddenly a man dressed in the special bodyguard of the Yang Clan stopped the queen's speech while running in a hurry towards Yang Shui.

"Such a damn you!" A Yang Clan official was ready to draw his sword, but was held back by the empress.

"Give me one reason why I should forgive you." Cold and open, such was the sound that came out of the empress' mouth.

The man was Yong Yelu, Yang Shui's personal bodyguard. He knelt on the floor with both hands clenched like he was begging.

"Please forgive the courtesy of the empress' servant, please do not punish Her Majesty the Queen. He is innocent, if anyone should be punished, the person is a servant. Please punish servant, empress."

Yong Yelu's words suddenly made everyone frown, as did Queen Yang Shui, her reddened eyes looking at Yong Yelu with a gaze demanding an explanation. But only in reply nods as if he was hinting 'all will be fine'.

"What do you mean?" Ask the empress with a curious face.

" His servant. It was the servant who had desecrated Her Majesty Queen Yang Shui."

Simultaneously with the end of Yong Yelu's words, his body crashed strongly back as if a huge energy had struck his body, until he bounced five meters and fell smashing into the seats of the Clan's higher-ups.

A mouthful of fresh blood came out from his mouth. Not stopping there, the scepter of the empress floated up and quickly slammed into Yong Yelu's chest, making more and more blood come out of his mouth.

"Mother, stop! I could kill him like that."

Suddenly the movements of the empress stopped she looked at the nyalang Yong Yelu who was enduring the pain.

"Mother..." Yang Shui's voice was full of pleading.

But the empress did not listen at all, she disappeared leaving Yang Shui still pleading.

Yang Jian groaned again, he tried to reach the man in pain. But his efforts are nil, as if there is an empty space that becomes the boundary of their world. Not stopping there, another image spun in Yang Jian's head like a CD that was being played.

The location is now dark, with wet soil and there are only a few torches that become illumination. Yang Shui was sitting on the ground floor holding onto Yong Yelu's fingers. However the brand place is separated by strong and thick iron bars.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" Yang Shui's voice was very slow, now he was no longer crying but his voice was hoarse because he was crying too much and his body looked very weak.

"That's all because I love you, Your Majesty, there's nothing happier in this world when you succeed in helping someone you love and seeing them live happily." While enduring the pain, Yong Yelu tried to smile to reassure Yang Shui.

"Stupid, you're really stupid. Why did you sacrifice your life for something you didn't do. Why are you willing to be beheaded for someone else's mistakes? Why did you sacrifice your life just for a word of love? Why?" Shouted Yang Shui furiously, he pulled his hand from Yong Yelu's hand and covered his face which started to shed tears.

"That's a blessing, That Begins. What do you want if the servant tells the truth and returns to the foot of the mountain?"

Yang Shui shook his head slowly. " Our love story is over, no one will believe my story. No one will be able to see a dragon change into a human form without any confidence in his heart." Yang Shui smiled, he tried to strengthen his heart.

"After all, there is no way that I would go to see him and leave Mother alone, let alone that I am the sole successor of the Yang Clan. I can't possibly ignore my status."

Yang Shui changed his sitting position to turn his back to Yong Yelu and leaned against the iron bars while looking up at the ceiling of the dark room.

"And our love story will end from this moment on. There was neither me nor him, there was only Yang Shui and also... This baby." Yang Shui's white and slender hands gently rubbed his still flat stomach, and his tears returned.

"I returned to my routine, lived a life as the queen of the clan leaders, and as a mother to my future baby. Returning to his side will not change everything that has happened. In fact, it will make the situation worse."

Yang Shui turned his body and looked back at Yong Yelu.

"I promise you, I will guarantee your family's life. And I also promise to never forget you, Yong Yelu. Sorry for being a selfish person. And thank you for your love." Yang Shui's words were accompanied by her sweet smile.

"It's a little impolite, but... Will His Majesty obey the last wish of the servant?"

"Anything. Whatever it is you want, I promise, I'll keep it."

"Thank you for Your Majesty's generosity, the servant's request is, may the servant name the child Your Majesty is carrying?" Pinta Yong Yelu be careful.

Unexpectedly, Yang Shui nodded in favor of Yong Yelu.

"His name is Yang Jian."
