"Mommy Laura!"
Seroja who was lying on top of the hospital bed room ER, a little surprised when at the side of his bed stood the figure of a woman who was almost the same age as the mother. The woman smelled the sweetest smile she had. As if welcoming Seroja consciousness with full of happiness.
"How are you doing Ja? Are you all right?"
Seroja spread his eyes around. The room is dominated by white and the curtains are green. Slowly his hand stretched out to touch his temple. Trying to repel the feeling of dizziness that attacks in the head.
"W-where am I?" said Seroja lirih while trying to shift his body to be in a lean position.
"You don't remember what happened?"
Mami Laura shifted a chair made of plastic to make it a place to land her buttocks. The woman sat by the side of the bed while looking at Seroja's netra closely. I don't know what she was thinking, but this morning, she seemed so happy.
Seroja's forehead shriveled, her eyebrows twitching together, trying to recall what had previously happened. His mouth was open when his conversation with doctor Fakhri, which happened a while ago, started wandering in his brain memory.
A pair of windows of Seroja's heart is getting heated up to form dew points there. No need to wait any longer, those droplets of dew began to fall dripping down his cheeks.
"A-Alamanda.... "
It was the name of the younger brother that immediately came out of his lips. Dew drops are falling from the frame of Seroja's eyelids. His heart was increasingly throbbing pain when imagined the state of the brother who was currently in the ultimate darkness.
Ceklekk..
The sound of the door opening from outside. Seroja and Laura both linked their gaze to the source of the sound, and a handsome young doctor walked over to Seroja.
"How are you doing this morning? Is it still dizzy? Or maybe your body feels weak?" ask doctor Fakhri to open a conversation with one of these patients.
Seroja nodded faintly. "Yes Doc, I still feel a little dizzy and my body feels very weak."
Doctor Fakhri smiled faintly as he nodded slowly. "Mbak's blood pressure is low, and Mbak's stomach is empty. That's what makes Mbak ... sorry with Mbak who?"
"S-Seroja Doc!"
"Ah yes, Seroja suddenly fainted."
"Then, what about my sister Doc? D-he's okay isn't he?"
Anxiety about the state of the sister is still spoiled in the mind and heart of Seroja. If only before God offered first who would bear the burden of suffering, surely he would replace the position of the brother. Truly, he could never imagine how Alamanda would go about the toughest days of his life after he woke up from his long slumber.
Doctor Fakhri again commented on the sweet smile he had, to form two dimples on his cheeks. "We've taken surgery for mbak Seroja's sister, of course, to clean the remnants of glass debris that hit the eyes of mbak Seroja's sister so as not to leave anything dangerous."
Seroja. "O-Operation Doc?"
"Yes, surgery?"
"L-lau how much do I have to pay for the Alamanda operation, Doc?"
"Mbak Seroja take it easy. Because the cost of Alamanda's operation was already borne by this mother."
Doctor Fakhri pointed towards Laura accompanied by Seroja who also linked her eyes towards the middle-aged woman. Laura smiled as if giving a signal that everything would be fine.
"I'll excuse you first. I will make a vitamin recipe for mbak Seroja so that the body mbak Seroja can recover as usual."
Seroja nodded slowly. "Okay Doc, thank you."
Doctor Fakhri twisted his heels and swung his legs to get out of this room. After the body of doctor Fakhri disappeared behind the door, Seroja again stared fixed bead Laura's eyes with an indecipherable look.
Laura chuckled softly. "You must know the answer, right?"

"I don't want to be a woman of the night, Mi. I don't want to!"
When his body was a little stronger, Seroja came out of the ER room and stepped into a park in the middle of the hospital area. He landed his butt on a park bench made of concrete while enjoying the morning air around this place.
The smell of wet rain last night is still so soothing. Although the sun has begun to show its golden radiance, but the cold in this city is still not lost and still dominates.
Laura who was standing under one of the fan spruce trees sounded screeching. "If you don't want to work with me, then how can you pay off all the money I've spent on Alamanda's operating expenses, Ja? Tell me how?"
"I'm still working in Mi's glove factory, and every month I'm sure I can take it."
"Hahahaha so confident that you can pay off all your debts Ja, but from now on your life needs more and more?"
"I understand that Mi. However, I can definitely pay it off."
Laura who had previously stood on her back to Seroja, now the woman turned around. He stepped his feet slowly to get closer to Seroja. The middle-aged woman was also sitting at Seroja's side.
"In addition to supporting the life and care of Alamanda post-surgery, you also have one patient with psychiatric disorders, Ja."
Seroja was a little surprised to hear Laura's words that seemed to cause ambiguous meaning. "What do you mean? Whose psychiatric patient does Mami mean?"
Laura scooped up the air deeply and she exhaled slowly. "Your mother went crazy after killing Ajisaka!"
"What's? I-Mother is crazy and A-ajisaka is dead?!"
Laura nodded. "Yes, Ajisaka died after bleeding to death from a glass splinter pierced by your mother. And now, he's in a mental institution. Are you sure you can take care of all the needs of mom and Alamanda?"
Seroja was a little confused when he heard the news about Ajisaka's death. A hint of relief slipped into the recesses of his heart, because in the end, the savage man found his end. However, when remembering the state of the mother, the tightness back ambushed. Could it be that the mother went mad from seeing Ajisaka's deeds before her eyes? If it was true, the guilt was increasingly felt in his heart.
"B-but I can still fulfill everything by working in the factory, Mi. So I don't think it's necessary to work with Mami."
"Hahahaha hahahaha Seroja, Seroja! Even under these circumstances, you still do not want to give up on sticking to your ridiculous principle of life?"
Seroja. "What do you mean?"
Laura stared at the two Seroja netras intensely. The middle-aged woman slightly extended her smile. "Hasn't the most precious crown that you desperately guarded all this time been snatched away by Ajisaka? So, what are you still defending?"
Laura patted Seroja on the shoulder while smiling cynically. "Right now, you and the women who are my pets are the same. Both are no longer virgins. So, come on, come work with me! I assure you, your life will be much happier than it is today."
Hearing the words spoken from Laura's lips, as if pulling Seroja's awareness of her current state. Yes, there was no longer anything precious inside him. It's all gone. Forcibly snatched away along with the destruction of his life.
Seroja's bead eyes stared fixedly at Laura's face, but still felt empty and empty. The crystal thread returned to freefall from his clear lake. "Well, Mi, I'm going to work with Mami!"
Laura smiled broadly. In the end, the prima donna of localization that he occupied, joined under his care. "Good it Ja. Nice one!"
Seroja turned his eyes towards the fish pond decorated by lotus flowers. A smile of irony and wounds rose on the lips of the twenty-five-year-old woman. As it turned out, the philosophy of the lotus flower that would never be affected by the dirty environment that was around him, was currently turning one hundred and eighty degrees. In the end, Seroja also dissolved in the valley below Laura's hand.
Everything has already been destroyed, so I choose to throw my body in this destruction to be more destroyed. I thought you would always be there for me, Lord.. But as it turns out, you never thought I existed. And from this moment on, I will crush myself into that pit of sin and blasphemy.
