Ch.13 - Lantis Mountains
Alucard walked out of the gate of Moniyan Empire Palace. Thinking of Silvana he somehow felt guilty towards the girl.
She never came to her Birthday pickle and when she came she left before the party started, had not even met her.
“Maybe I should meet him and apologize later.” Alucard continued walking until he arrived at the Demon Hunt Union and headed straight for his room.
Alucard laid his body on the bed. Just standing in the middle of the nobles alone made him tired. He felt that it was better to fight against thousands of demons alone than to have to listen to the words of the nobles.
Alucard was completely fed up with the nobles who always acted like kings in the presence of ordinary people.
“Tomorrow I will take on the mission of hunting demons in Lantis Mountains.”
The Lantis Mountains are the longest mountain range in the Land of Dawn. This mountain range became the border between Moniyan Empire and the Barren Lands and prevented the demons from spreading further.
Barren Lands is where the demons live. Originally the Barren Lands was a green and fertile land like the Moniyan Empire, but due to the appearance of the demons, evil forces spread and the Barren Lands were now a barren land.

The next day, Alucard wasted no time and immediately set off for the Lantis Mountains on horseback.
On the way, Alucard did not find any obstacles except the monsters passing by and some bandits did not know themselves which of course all killed by Alucard.
Lantis Mountains is very far away, just riding Alucard takes up to 2 weeks.
Alucard didn't bring his horse into the Barren Lands. Around the border there was a countryside and he paid the ranchers there to take care of his horses as long as he went to the Lantis Mountains.
Alucard could feel the air in the Barren Lands very differently. The air here contained evil power, if ordinary people entered the Barren Lands then they could go crazy.

Alucard entered the area of the Lantis Mountains and began searching for the whereabouts of the demons.
Alucard moves very carefully but also very quickly.
Within minutes, Alucard saw some common demons. He did not immediately execute but secretly heard their conversation.
Although Alucard will not be merciless if he meets the devil, he will not act recklessly. Directly killing will not make the problem resolve quickly.
“Circling for patrol is always boring.”
“Yes, but how else, this is a command, we must not let anyone near the highest peak of the Lantis Mountains.”
The demons chatted and Alucard could hear everything they said. He slightly frowned, a few questions popping into his head.
“Why are these demons guarding the top of the Lantis Mountains? Is there something there?” Alucard pulled out his sword.
Because he had already gotten the information so he no longer needed to sneak around.
With a swift movement, Alucard darted out cutting through the bodies of all those demons in a single swing of the sword.
After killing those demons, Alucard darted towards the highest peak of the Lantis Mountains because there must be more demons there.
On the way to the Lantis Mountains, Alucard killed all the demons he encountered without exception. All the demons he found were just ordinary demons so he could kill them very easily.
Alucard was still half way through before his existence was discovered by the demons there. The demons roared as if giving a warning of danger until they all immediately prepared.
Alucard's feet were enveloped in a stream of lightning, with one powerful jolt, Alucard darted even faster, in an instant already in front of the demons.
The Alucard Sword emitted a powerful Mana with lightning energy. One flash of lightning, Alucard passed through all the demons, a moment later all the demons were cut into pieces.
Alucard didn't care about not even making sure if there were any demons still alive or not among those demons because he believed they were all dead.
Since Alucard had already joined the Magic Crystals, he had become extremely sensitive to Mana. So he could sense the waves of Mana energy that were at the peak of the Lantis Mountains.
“These demons must have found something there. I have to take it.” Alucard muttered softly before returning to continue the journey.
Demons keep coming to attack Alucard but all of them can be killed easily because the highest is only Demon Warrior.
Alucard's 100 more demons killed but that didn't change his flat expression.
Alucard finally saw a cavernous mouth, dozens of demon warriors were already standing guard there, as well as two Demon Commanders.
The demons immediately shot forward, Alucard walked leisurely before running at full speed.
A single slash of a single demon life floated, absolutely no one could dodge Alucard's slash.
*baamm!
Alucard was hit by a wave of dark energy, but he resisted the attack with his sword, causing it to be thrown several meters away.
The two Demon Commander saw this as an opportunity. They move in two different directions simultaneously.
Quickly the two of them were to the left and right of Alucard, then simultaneously slashed the sword, aiming for the young man's neck.
Unfortunately this was done by Alucard to make the two Demon Commander approached him.
Alucard easily dodged the slash, enveloping his sword with Mana lightning and slashing the body of one of the demons into two pieces.
The remaining Demon Commander was surprised, he intended to jump back but Alucard's right hand was already gripping his face.
Alucard instantly switched Mana lightning. Devil Comeback immediately convulsed with the body releasing smoke until finally his body was charred.
The remaining demons were frightened, they quickly fled.
“Do not expect to escape!” Alucard's after all those demons.
He will not let a demon be missed.
A few hours later, Alucard returned to the top of the Lantis Mountains. Because the demons were spreading in various directions making it take enough time to chase after them.
In the end he managed to slaughter all the fleeing demons.
Alucard stood in front of the mouth of the cave, looking inside which was quite dark. He could feel the Mana waves inside the cave.
Alucard didn't know what kind of wave this was because he had only first felt a very pure and powerful mana like this.
“Maybe that thing can increase the Mana I have.”
Alucard's pretty excited. If he could increase the Mana capacity in his body, he could become strong and might be able to be on par with a Demon Lord later on.
