Ch.14 – Alucard VS Faramis

Alucard entered the cave, he could feel the remnants of the demonic aura inside there but could not feel any signs of the existence of demons.

On the left and right side of the hall were already fire torches lighting the way. Alucard walked leisurely with full vigilance. He would never lower his vigilance in this area of demonic power even though he had already finished off all the demons in this area.

The Mana Wave that Alucard felt was getting stronger, he accelerated his pace until he arrived at a large area within the cave .

Alucard saw a ball the size of a fist that emitted a powerful life energy.

“It. It seems like it is true, Lantis Mountains was the residence of the Ancient One in ancient times.”

(Note: For those of you who don't know, one of the Ancient One in ML is the hero Edith)

Ancient One is said to have been a god in ancient times. Reportedly, the Lantis Mountains was the area where the Ancient One lived but somehow, the Ancient One disappeared somewhere.

It is likely that the object in front of Alucard is currently a relic from the Ancient One.

Alucard picked up the object, he could feel the Mana wave was extremely strong, much stronger than the Magic Crystals implanted in his right arm.

“I don't know what this thing is and how to use it. Maybe I should ask Silvana later.”

Alucard stuffed the object into a pocket of its dimension and then walked out of the cave.

Just as Alucard stepped out of the mouth of the cave, he saw a man running and then stopped after seeing him.

The man was wearing black clothes in a green robe, his head was hiding his long white hair.

Alucard felt an uneasy feeling at the green aura on the man's body.

“You... did you take a round object with life energy inside that place?” the man asked with a slight breath of gasping.

“Who are you?” Alucard did not answer, but asked back.

“I am Faramis, I came to Lantis Mountains for feeling the extremely powerful Mana energy of life. Young man, I really need that thing.”

“What you mean, I don't understand.”

“I know you have it. It is clear from your body that still remains the aura of life energy.”

“What will you do if I don't want to hand it over?” Alucard already had no way to hide that thing.

“That thing is very important, this is only a once in a lifetime opportunity, if you don't want to hand it over then I will take it by force,” Faramis took out a stick with a green-colored ball on it.

“Then I will not hesitate,” Alucard pulled out his sword, Mana lightning energy instantly flowed over his sword.

Alucard jumped then lunged towards Faramis.

Shadow Stampede's! (Skill 1 Faramis)

Faramis' body was enveloped in a greenish-black aura until her body seemed to be a spirit. Faramis held Alucard's slash with his wand.

*BAAMM!!

The clash between Alucard's swords caused a shockwave. Faramis's foot came to the ground with Alucard's slash.

Bursters Ghosts! (Skill 2 Faramis)

Faramis launched a counterattack, unleashing an extremely powerful surge of energy.

Alucard instantly enveloped his body with Mana. He was attacked and thrown tens of meters.

The armor on Alucard's right arm slightly opened, exposing his blue arm from the crevices of the armor. A powerful aura instantly enveloped the young man.

“After a long time there is finally an opponent who can make me slightly release the seal on my right arm!” Alucard put up the horses.

The armor on his right arm did indeed serve to hold his energy from spreading. Honestly, Alucard was now still unable to fully withstand the energy in his right arm.

“The strength of this youth is increasing,” Faramis frowned, turned her head towards Alucard's right arm, “it... is this really real? Can this young man really implant magic crystals in his own body?”

Faramis was an Alchemist who was an expert in potions, he was hundreds of years old and still alive until now even his body was always young. His knowledge was so vast that he could instantly figure out Alucard's current condition.

Faramis drew energy from the crystal ball at the end of her wand until her aura also increased.

Bursters Ghosts!

Faramis shook his staff, unleashing dozens of waves of greenish-white energy.

Alucard darted forward, slashing all of Faramis' attacks with ease.

Seeing Alucard getting closer, Faramis jumped onto a tree branch behind him then launched the same attack. And the same thing happened, his attack was caught easily.

Faramis again jumped to avoid Alucard's attack and continued to launch attacks.

Until at a certain moment, Faramis jumped and then snapped his magic wand on the ground.

Altar Cult! (Faramis Island)

Alucard stopped, looking in several directions. He also realized Faramis had attacked not just haphazardly. The attacks of Ghost Bursters that he tackled spread to various points so that the man could bring out his flagship technique (Cult Altar)

Faramis aura became stronger, Alucard immediately jumped away while raising his sword. A strong mana came out through his right arm until his armour opened even more.

Alucard came forward and so did Faramis. They also collided attacks at close range making craters in every place they fought attacks.

Shadow Stampede's!

Faramis darted past Alucard, along with a wisp of aura like a huge hand grasping his body.

Alucard was immediately drawn towards Faramis.

Bursters Ghosts!

Seeing the incoming attack, Alucard blasted the Mana lightning from his body until the wisp of aura grasping his body instantly shattered.

Alucard jumped to avoid the attack and then charged towards Faramis.

Faramis again held Alucard's slash using his wand. Alucard kicked Faramis' wand until it was thrown out of his hand.

Alucard made use of it launched a 360° rotating attack.

Faramis was hit by the slash with a bang, making it thrown into a tree until it fell.

The powerful aura that enveloped Faramis' body disappeared, apparently not injured at all after being hit by a crushing attack from Alucard.

The Cult Altar could give Faramis additional lives so that if he was hit by an attack that could inflict severe injuries or take lives, it would be instantly eliminated.

“How could he not be injured after being hit by my attack?” Alucard frowned, but he was sure that his slash could split even steel.

Faramis directed her hand to where her magic wand lay. The wand flew back into Faramis' hands.

Faramis stood up with a serious expression. This was the first time his Cult Altar magic had been destroyed in a single attack by a mere youngster.
