Ch.9 - The Lone Hero
In a dark forest with tall and lush trees, even sunlight is difficult to penetrate the forest land until every time the forest looks like night.
This forest is also used by the demons as a place to build their headquarters.
“Sial! Damnit damnit! How could he know the place of our hidden headquarters?!”
There were two demons running around with sweat drenching their faces, as if they were being chased by demons. Yes, although it is actually a bit strange to hear the devil in pursuit of the devil.

The devil's face turned pale, he undoes his intention to help his friend and prefers to run to save himself.

The fallen demon's face turned pale, his body trembled, he turned around, seeing the human figure making his body even more tremble as if he was looking at a demon.
The man was a man with short blonde hair, blue clothes with armor that completely covered his right hand up to the elbow.
“You..”.
The young man thrust his sword into the mouth of the demon until it pierced his head.
“One more mouse left, where are you going!” The young man concentrated the lightning energy on his sword then performed a single slash, unleashing waves of lightning energy.
The demon that was running around was instantly knocked down. He wanted to stand up straight away but he felt something strange on his body.
The devil looked down, his legs were cut off. He saw that the young man had already walked up to him, he immediately used his hands to retreat until his back hit the tree trunk.
The demon's body trembled even more when he saw that the young man was already right in front of him, looking at him with sinister cold eyes.
“You.. The Lone Hero, Alucard!”
Alucard instantly slashed his sword, cutting the demon's body into two pieces.
It had been 3 years since he survived being the experimental material of the demons. He trained hard for these 3 years and joined the Demon Hunt Union.
The grudge that Alucard has attached to him makes him very sadistic in slaughtering the demons. Within 1 year, Alucard became the youngest middle-ranked demon hunter, his name was very famous among the other demon hunters.
Alucard earned the nickname Lone Hero because he always carried out missions alone, never made a team, never entered a team, even always refused when offered to enter the team.
Alucard's cold nature kept him from thinking about a single friend. No one wants to be close to him.
Well, that's totally unthinkable for Alucard. The important thing was that he could continue on the mission and kill the demons to avenge him, that was enough.
Now 3 years old, Alucard is one of the few high-level demon hunters. Not only is it famous among demon hunters, Alucard is also famous among demons.
This time Alucard takes on a mission to eradicate the demons in one of his headquarters located in this Dark Forest. As usual, he went on a mission alone and managed to slaughter the demons hiding in this Dark Forest.

“Well, I heard he had previously taken on the mission of exterminating demons in the Dark Forest, did he really manage to complete that dangerous mission by himself? Hard to believe.”
“However he is one of the Legend-level Demon Hunters, so his strength cannot be doubted anymore.”
People immediately whispered after seeing Alucard enter the Demon Hunt Union.
Demon hunters are divided into several levels, ranging from Warior, Elite, Master, Grand Master, Epic and Legend. It was actually not only the demon hunters that divided such a level of strength.
It was a common level used by everyone. The royal soldiers also used those levels.
Legend is the highest level, it is a thing that is known in general. But there is another level of secret that not just anyone knows, the Mythic level.
Alucard was used to talking about himself, so he ignored it. He went straight to the reception desk.
There were two beautiful girls at the reception desk. They are twin brothers named Gista and Giska.
“Mr Alucard, how is your mission?” Gista asked with a friendly smile as usual.
Alucard did not reply, he took out 10 demonic hands that were inside the dimensional pouch embedded in his right waist.
Dimensional bags are a rare item. Within the Demon Hunt Union, only high-level Demon Hunters had one.
It's not their own, either. That Dimensional bag was given by the Demon Hunt Union to make the mission of high-level Demon Hunters easier. If they retire later, they will have to give it back.
“Wah. 10 demon commander level. It turned out that there were so many powerful demons hiding in the Dark Forest,” Giska was shocked, as well as Gista.
From the mission information records they provided, there were commander-level Devils in the Dark Forest, but it was unknown what the exact number was. Who would have thought there were 10.
Demons are also divided into several levels, ranging from ordinary demons, Warior demons, Commander demons, General demons then the highest are demons who reach God level.
“As usual, Mr. Alucard is indeed amazing, being able to defeat 10 commander-level demons by himself. Gista, reward Mr Alucard's mission!”
Gista took out a bag of 200 pieces of gold.
“100 gold pieces for mission reward and 100 gold pieces for reward kill 10 demon commander.”
Not only did the Demon Hunters earn money from completing missions, but if they could bring along proof they had killed demons then they could earn an additional reward.
Killing an ordinary demon could obtain 10 bronze, the Warior demon gained 10 silver and killing the Commander demon earned 10 gold.
While to kill the demon General could earn 10,000 gold. As for Demon Lord, there had never been any record of anyone being able to kill a Demon Lord, so no one knew how much of a definite merit one would give if it managed to kill a Demon Lord.
Alucard took the gold bag and put it in his dimension pocket.
“Does after this Mr Alucard want to directly take another mission as usual?”
“No, just prepare the food as usual for me!” Alucard sat on one of the chairs in the room, waiting for his order to arrive.
