The Love Story of Arka
CHAPTER 14

Arriving at the apartment, Arka sat on the living room sofa and leaned her back there while eating the bread she bought at the supermarket earlier on her way home. He thought about his mother's offer while pensive. It's a very difficult choice for Arka.

Actually he did not want to go to America, because if he went to America, he automatically could not meet with Tia for a very long time. He could already imagine how crazy he would be if he did not meet Tia, because he was used to meeting Tia every day. But, if he wants to go to America, his parents will bless his relationship with Tia. That's what Arka wanted.

On the other hand, he also wants to study one campus with Tia in Indonesia so that he can meet and be with Tia every day. But he is also afraid that his parents will hurt Tia and does not condone his relationship with Tia.

“Aaaarrgggh!” erang Arka while pulling her own hair. He feels very frustrated at the moment.

After that Arka got up from her seat and went into the bathroom. He wanted to take a cold shower to cool his mind.

The next day, while returning home from school, Arka takes Tia to her apartment. As usual they will cook, eat, clean, sing and relax together in the living room.

“Darling, do you love me?” arka asked Tia while lying on the sofa and put her head on Tia's lap.

“Of course. Why are you asking like that?” tia asked while frowning her forehead.

“If someday we are LDR, will you still wait for me?” ask Arka again.

“Iya, I will keep waiting for you back. Why ask like that?” ask Tia back. He assumed Arka would go out of town to continue his studies, so he did not mind. Without Tia knowing that Arka will be studying abroad.

“Nothing dear ... “ replied Arka smbil pinching Tia's nose. Tia was about to pinch Arka's nose back, but Arka got up and ran away from Tia. Tia chased after Arka until she could pinch Arka's nose back. After a chase inside the apartment, Arka and Tia limp down on the floor together and look at each other and laugh together.

A few weeks later

The final exam is getting closer. Arka and Tia are always studying together in Arka's apartment. They were the smartest students in their class. Arka loves Tia not only because of her beauty, but also because of her intelligence. It's just that, Tia is too innocent and kind, so it's easy to fool Vanessa and Bu Widya.

After dinner together, Arka escorted Tia home to the orphanage back to her usual place. Tia never wanted to stay in Arka's apartment. It was not that he did not believe in Arka, he was sure Arka would not do anything to him. But others who see it will think nothing of it.

After dropping off Tia, Arka returned to her apartment thinking about her mother's offer at that time.

“Okey, I'll go to America. Only four to five years, right? After that I can be with Tia forever,” muttered Arka while smiling happily. He imagined that after returning home from America, he would marry Tia and live happily with their children without interference from anyone.

One month later

The final exam is over. Arka and Tia were very happy because they could do the problem easily during the exam. Now they are enjoying a long holiday after undergoing a series of exhausting exams. Arka visits the orphanage where Tia lives and plays with the orphanage children. Arka also distributed food and toys to them.

“Sabar yes ... all must be part .. “ said Arka with a smile while distributing food and toys to the orphanage one by one.

“Thank you for giving them a gift. They must be very happy Arka .. “ Tia told Arka after putting drinks on the table.

“Sama-sama ... “ Reply Arka while caressing the top of Tia's head.

“Arka .. I got a scholarship from ABC campus. You want to go to college there too, right? So that we can stay together,” said Tia suddenly.

“Mmm sure. Of course,” replied Arka lying. He didn't want to make Tia sad. He would tell Tia when she was leaving for America.

After playing and joking with the orphanage until the afternoon, Arka also said goodbye to go home. Tia and Ms. Fatimah drove Arka to the yard.

Arka drove her motorcycle to her parents' house. He will give an answer to the offer from his mother at that time.This is a tough decision for Arka, but he did this for the sake of his love for Tia.

When Arka arrived at his house, he immediately entered and as usual he saw his mother watching television. Bu Widya was happy when she saw Arka coming home. He had not seen Arka for a long time.

“Arka ... finally you remember also if you still have a home,” said Bu Widya. Arka approached her mother who was sitting on the sofa and kissed the back of her mother's hand.

“Why did Mama say that?” ask Arka to her mother.

“You haven't been home for a long time,” Bu Widya replied.

“Arka will focus on studying because of the exam Ma .. “ replied Arka honestly.

Not long after Mr. Hendro came out of his room. I just finished my shower after coming home from work.

“Arka .. you happen to be home. Lately your credit and debit card spending is huge. What do you wear the money for?” ask Mr. Hendro to Arka. He always gets a notification on his phone when Arka uses his credit and debit cards.

“Shopping needs Arka lah Pa. .. “ replied Arka lazily. He uses the money to eat and walk with Tia and buy food and toys for the orphanage where Tia lives.

“But that's a lot of Ark. What do you need that much in a month?” asked Mr. Hendro suspicious of Arka.

“Only 20 million. For Papa that money is nothing, right? Why is it a problem now? Oh yes Arka here want to tell Mama and Papa if Arka wants to study in America, as long as Arka graduates later Mama and Papa accept Tia as your daughter-in-law in this house. How?” arka said to Mr. Hendro and Ms. Widya.

“Okey. Mama agrees, as long as you do not go home and meet him during your lecture in America,” reply Bu Widya gives conditions.

“Okey Arka agrees! Then Arka to the top first Ma .. Pa. ” said Arka and left her parents.

“Tu Kan Pa, what did mama say? Arka must have agreed with the terms we made. Soon Arka will definitely forget the girl,” Bu Widya said to Mr. Hendro with a triumphant smile.

“Iya. Mama is great,” reply Pak Hendro then kiss Bu Widya's cheek.
