CHAPTER 29

Since Tia's departure from her apartment, Arka has never returned home. He was very frustrated and locked himself in his apartment.

One week later, Mr. Hendro and Ms. Widya visited him to the apartment because Arka had never received a call from them. Because Mr. Hendro and Bu Widya already know the door code of the Arka apartment, so they immediately entered without pressing the bell first.

When they opened the door of Arka's apartment how shocked they saw the contents of the messy Arka paratement. Books, bottles of drink, tissue, paper, food wrappers scattered everywhere.They also gel head saw the unusual behavior of Arka.

After that Mr. Hendro opened the door of the closed Arka room, but not locked. There Arka was sleeping in a thick blanket. He approached Arka's bed and sat down on the edge of the bed.

Arka hid her head and rejected Bu Widya's hand. He was angry at his parents who had told him to go to college in America. Especially to prohibit him from contacting Tia for up to four years. Her boyfriend is now married to someone else without her knowledge.

“Mama and Papa evil equal Arka!” arka cried and cried in her blanket.

“You why Arka?” bu Widya's question did not understand Arka's attitude.

“This must be all Mama and Papa's plans right?” ask Arka again by accusing her parents who told Tia to marry someone else.

“Mama don't know anything Arka. You don't accuse me recklessly!” reply Bu Widya.

In fact, Tia's marriage is only known to the campus and some of Reyhan's closest friends and Tia alone. The wedding was so sudden that it did not invite many people. The Wijaya family did not announce Reyhan's marriage because Reyhan refused to work for the company.

Arka doesn't want to talk to her parents anymore. He hid his head in the blanket and cried. He felt his sacrifice of four years was in vain. Now the person he was fighting for already belonged to someone else.

Mr. Hendro also took Ms. Widya away and let Arka calm down first.

One month later

Arka intends to go to the beach to calm her mind. He stayed at a hotel for three days. Every day he walks on the beach and kicks the water there. He always remembered Tia who was smiling and laughing happily as she walked on the beach.

Coincidentally also today Tia was walking to the beach together with her husband. Tia got out of the car and ran to the beach, stretching out her hands. Reyhan smiled and followed Tia and sat under a coconut tree watching Tia play water on the beach. Feeling thirsty, Reyhan went to buy young coconuts.

Unbeknownst to Reyhan, Tia moves further and further away unknowingly due to being too happy to play water. Not how long the big waves suddenly came, Tia fell and was dragged by the waves. He screamed for help repeatedly and tried to swim as hard as he could, but the result was nil because he could not swim. He almost drowned and drank a lot of sea water.

Arcs that saw someone asking for help because they were drowning immediately threw themselves into the sea to help the person. He did not know that the drowning man was Tia. Soon he grabbed Tia's waist and took her for a quick swim. Tia was happy that there was someone who had saved her. He felt relieved and fainted without knowing who had saved him.

Arka laid Tia's body on the sand of the beach. He pressed down on Tia's chest and gave an artificial breath. Because Tia was not aware as well, Arka took her to the hotel room she rented.

Reyhan returned with two young coconuts in his hand. He looked towards the beach, but did not find Tia's figure there. He approached the shore and combed through it but did not find Tia. He returns to the car to call Tia, but Tia's phone rings in the car.

"Damn! Her phone wasn't taken, where was she?" Reyhan Umpat. He also reported on the coast guard and security. While waiting for news, he rented a nearby hotel room to stay because the day had begun to twilight.

Arka laid Tia's body and took off her wet clothes and replaced them with bathrobes. He was forced to do so because if he did not immediately change Tia's wet clothes, it could - could be Tia to catch a cold.

Twenty minutes later

"Good night Ma'am, I'm Amanda's doctor who was called on the phone earlier today" Dr Amanda told the reception desk guard.

"Good night, Doc, please come in and take my friend to our customer's room" replied the reception desk keeper.

Dr. Amanda follows the hotel employee who escorts her to Arka's room to help Tia. While in the hallway, Doctor Amanda meets Reyhan, but Reyhan is unaware of Doctor Amanda's whereabouts as he= is frantically thinking about the missing Tia.

"Rayyhan!" greet Amanda as she crosses paths with Reyhan.

"Yes, who are you?" tanya Reyhan scrunched his forehead staring at Doctor Amanda.

"I'm Amanda your high school friend" replied Doctor Amanda with a smile.

"Oh yeah I remember, what are you doing here, on vacation?" reyhan asked after recalling his high school friend.

"No, Rey, I'm going to check on the patient. I was called to say that someone drowned. I checked on Rey first, see you later," Doctor Amanda said goodbye and was leaving Reyhan.

"What's? Drowned out? Can I come with you? I wanted to make sure he wasn't the one I was looking for" Reyhan told Amanda.

"All right, come on Rey!" doctor Amanda replies and walks to the room where Tia is following the hotel staff. Reyhan followed behind them.

Arriving inside Arka's room, Reyhan saw a woman lying on the bed. He was shocked to see who the woman was.

"That!" exclaim Reyhan.

"Who is Rey?" ask Dr. Amanda while taking the stethoscope out of her bag.

"She's my wife, please check on her!" reyhan asked for help.

Dr. Amanda immediately examined Tia. He checked Tia's body temperature, blood pressure, and lungs. Fortunately the water that Tia drank had been released Arka.

"He's okay Rey, just exhausted" Amanda told Reyhan.

"Why isn't he awake? I'll just take her to the hospital" Reyhan said as he lifted Tia's body. Amanda agrees and lets Reyhan take Tia away.

Thirty minutes later

Arka came with a change of clothes for Tia. As he entered his room, he did not see Tia there. He called the hotel prescription.

"Where was the woman who fainted earlier, did she wake up?" ask Arka.

"No sir, there was a man who claimed to be her husband. So he took the woman to the hospital" the recessionist replied.

"His husband?" ask Arka.

"Yes sir" replied the recessionist.

"Okey, thank you," replied Arka.

After that, he hung up his phone.
