The Love Story of Arka
CHAPTER 40

After receiving a call from her mother, Jasmine intends to tell Arka that her mother invited them to dinner, but Jasmine is too afraid to face Arka who is cold and a little temperament. Jasmine paced in front of the door of Arka's room. He knocks, but hesitates.

"Tap, don't, tap, don't, tap," Jasmine muttered as she counted the buttons on her shirt. Jasmine inhaled a deep breath and exhaled it through her mouth violently.

"Sir .." called Jasmine while knocking on Arka's room door, but there was no answer. Jasmine repeated it three times, but the result was nil. He was determined to open the door of Arka's room nervously which happened to be unlocked. Jasmine went inside Arka's room and saw her room was empty.

"Did Brother Arka go?" mumbling Jasmine. He also turned around. When he was about to come out, he heard the voice of Arka.

"What are you doing in my room?" arka asked furiously as she came out from inside the bathroom and saw Jasmine inside her room. Jasmine turned around and found a bare-chested Arka figure that was just wrapped around a towel around her waist. Jasmine is fascinated by the shape of the body of Arka. His chest field and stomach in the form of torn bread plus his handsome face, but unfortunately his attitude is indifferent. Arka also approached Jasmine who was gawking.

"Hey, why are you in my room?" asked Arka while patting Jasmine's cheek to be aware of her usefulness.

"Aaaah .. eeee .. I .. I want to tell Arka if you invite us to dinner tonight at home" replied Jasmine stammered with nervousness, his face is red now.

"Why is your face red? You feverish?" asked Arka while touching Jasmine's forehead.

"Ti-no. I'll go back to my room. Arka's sister can come, right?" jasmine asked before exiting Arka's room.

"Hmmm," replied Arka briefly.

After exiting Arka's room and closing the door Jasmine breathed a sigh of relief. Dag dig dug's heart. His feelings were mixed between fear, shame, and pleasure. She smiled - smiling to herself as she walked towards her room.

Meanwhile Arka inside her room smiled happily. He's sure he'll meet Tia tonight at Adam's house. There was no way the Jasmine family would just invite Jasmine over. Arka immediately opened the closet to choose clothes. He wants to be perfect tonight.

Meanwhile Tia in her apartment thinks will she meet Arka later tonight? Just now her husband called and told her that her mother had invited her to dinner. Tia gets ready while waiting for her husband to come home from work.

Arka Apartment

Jasmine comes out from inside her room intending to knock on the door of Arka's room. However, when Jasmine had just walked out from inside the room, Arka was already waiting for her on the living room sofa with already neat clothes.

“Ayo departing!” invite Arka excitedly when she hears Jasmine's room door open.

Jasmine felt surprised when Arka asked her to leave first. Moreover, his face was so excited. Jasmine smiled in agreement. Without Jasmine knowing what makes Arka excited is not her, but Tia.

Arriving Arka and Jasmine at Mr. Adam's house, Reyhan and Tia have come first. Jasmine and Arka enter the house when Reyhan and Bu Tari are fighting the mouth of Bu Tari inviting Dona, the woman who will be betrothed to Reyhan. Ms. Tari dislikes Tia and wants Reyhan to separate from Tia and marry her to Dona.

Arka circulated her eyes looking for the figure of Tia, someone she had longed for. Although they had broken up a long time ago, but Arka still could not forget Tia. He found Tia relaxing on the sofa in the living room. The originally cold Arka's gaze turned warm.

As Jasmine and Arka had arrived, dinner began. The seven of them were already sitting at the dining table. Because the dining table is round, so the order is Mr. Adam, Reyhan, Tia, Arka, Jasmine, Dona, Bu Tari. Meanwhile, Adimas, his brother Reyhan has returned to Germany because of the work that must be completed soon.

Reyhan's got food for Tia. Likewise with Bu Tari to get food for her husband. Jasmine who saw all this, she took the initiative to take food for Arka. Just as he was about to take Arka's plate, Arka refused him.

"No, I can do it myself" Arka refused. Others look at them as if they are not married couples.

"It's okay, Son Arka, let Jasmine serve you," said Mr. Adam, smiling. Arka nodded in agreement to honor her in-laws.

Jasmine retrieves Arka's plate and brings her husband food for the first time. He felt very nervous. After that he put a plate of Arka which already contains food in front of Arka.

“Thank you,” said Arka.

They all ate without anyone making a sound. Only the sound of the clanking of spoons and plates could be heard. When the dinner process took place suddenly Arka's hand held Tia's hand under the table. The surprised Tia suddenly choked.

Reyhan and Arka who saw Tia choking, they immediately took the drinking water in front of them and gave it to Tia simultaneously. Tia receives a drink from Reyhan because of her husband Reyhan. The atmosphere became awkward. All eyes were on Arka.

"Ah .. sorry just reflex when you see your sister-in-law choking," said Arka with a forced smile.

"Thank you" said Tia with a forced smile after sipping Reyhan's drink and putting down her glass.

They then continued their dinner quietly. After dinner they chatted for a while to melt the atmosphere.

“You want to stay here tonight?” ask Ms. Dance to Reyhan and Jasmine.

Reyhan turned to Tia and Tia gave a rejection code. He prefers to live and sleep in an apartment rather than at Bu Tari's house. Especially with Miss Dance who doesn't like it.

“No, Ma. Reyhan just go home,” replied Reyhan refused.

“You Jasmine?” ask Miss Dance to Jasmine.

“No, we go back to the apartment only. The newlyweds prefer to spend time alone, ” said Arka reasoned with a smile, but her eyes stared intently at Tia.

Everyone who heard it laughed. They had not expected Arka to be more familiar with Jasmine this quickly. However, only Jasmine did not laugh. He knew Arka was just lying to cover up the disharmony of their household. To be honest, Jasmine really wanted to stay at her house, so she did not feel lonely like she was in Arka's apartment. Even Arka was so indifferent and ignored him.

It was getting late and they went back to their apartments.
