The Melody of Farewell: The Last Song

The Melody of Farewell: The Last Song
CHAPTER 12 The Returned Melody

One day, while Nadira was practicing piano at home, her phone rang. He looked at the screen and was surprised to see Andra's name appear. He quickly picked up the call and the screen showed a smiling Andra face.

"Hi, Nad," Andra said, her voice warm and familiar. "How are you?"

Nadira smiled, happy to hear her brother's voice. "I'm fine, brother," he replied, "What about you?"

Andra nodded, looking pleased. "I'm fine too" he said, "Busy with lectures and musical rehearsals, but I'm enjoying it."

They talk about a variety of things, from Andra's life at university to Nadira's latest music project. However, throughout the conversation, Nadira felt something was up. He felt awkward and unsure about what to say or how to behave.

"Andra," said Nadira at last, "I feel a little awkward."

Andra looked surprised, but she quickly calmed Nadira down. "It's okay, Nad," she said, "I know our breakup made things change. But we're still brothers, and we still care about each other."

Nadira nodded, feeling a little better. "I know, brother," he said, "But I feel like there's a lot I want to say, but I don't know how to say it."

Andra smiled, looking understood. "We have time, Nad," he said, "We don't have to force ourselves to talk about everything at once. We can talk little by little, and we'll find a way to understand each other again."

Nadira was relieved to hear Andra's words. She knows that she is lucky to have an older sister like Andra, and she promises herself that she will work hard to keep their relationship strong.

Nine years have passed since Andra left to pursue her dream at a famous music university. During that time, Nadira has grown into a strong and talented young woman. He has made it into the best piano university in the country and has continued his life without Andra.

One day, Andra decides to go home without telling Nadira. He wanted to see how his sister had grown and developed over the years without him. After arriving in their hometown, Andra begins to follow Nadira secretly, observing her sister's life from a distance.

Andra saw how Nadira practiced the piano diligently, spent time with her friends, and lived a happy and successful life. She felt proud to see her sister had become an independent and talented young woman.

However, Andra also felt sad because she had missed so many important moments in Nadira's life. She felt guilty for not being there to support and protect her sister for so many years.

One afternoon, while Nadira was walking home from university, Andra decided that the time had come to reveal her whereabouts. He approached Nadira and greeted her gently.

Nadira turned his head, surprised to see his brother's long-lost face. He felt confused and shocked, not knowing what to say or how to behave.

"Sister... Andra?" nadira whispered, almost in disbelief.

Andra smiled, even though her eyes were teary. "Yes, my sister, I'm back. I want to see you and make sure you're okay."

Nadira felt a jumble between joy and anger. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming home? Why are you following me without me knowing?"

Andra felt guilty and apologized. "I'm sorry, Nadira. I want to see how you live without me. I want to make sure you're happy and successful."

Although Nadira still feels confused, she knows that Andra just wants the best for her. They embrace, feeling the warmth and affection they have longed for for so many years.

After Andra revealed her whereabouts, Nadira felt awkward being near her brother. Although she had missed Andra for so many years, she did not know how to behave or talk to him. So many things have changed, and they seem to have grown apart.

Andra soon realizes Nadira's discomfort and decides to take the initiative. He wanted to make sure that his sister felt safe and comfortable around him. He started talking more with Nadira, asking her to spend time together, and was always there to support him.

Andra also became more protective of Nadira. She always made sure that she was safe when they came out together, and she was always ready to stand up for her sister if needed. Nadira felt moved by Andra's care and concern, and slowly began to feel more comfortable around her.

One day, they went to the park together to spend some quality time together. They sit under the same tree where they often played as children, enjoying the beauty of nature and reminiscing about the past.

"Sister," said Nadira, "I've been feeling awkward since you came back. I feel as if we've grown apart and I don't know how to behave around you."

Andra smiled gently, understanding her sister's feelings. "I know, Nad," he said, "But we are still brothers, and we will always have a strong bond. I'm sure we'll find a way to understand each other again."

Nadira nodded, feeling a little better. "Thank you, brother," he said, "I'm glad you're here for me."

The two of them sat under the tree, feeling peaceful and happy. They feel as if they have rediscovered a part of their past, and they feel excited for the future to come.
