The Melody of Farewell: The Last Song
CHAPTER 16 Taking Care of Andra

After getting a call from her mother about Andra's accident, Nadira feels as if her world is collapsing. He ran to the hospital, his heart filled with terrible worries. As she enters the hospital hallway, she sees Moona, her roommate, waiting for her.

"Moona," said Nadira in a trembling voice, "How is my brother doing?"

Moona looked at Nadira with a serious expression. "Nadira," said he, "You must take your brother."

Nadira felt as if she had been slapped. He felt his knees wobble and tears began to pour down. She walked along the hallway, crying and lamenting her brother.

However, before she could reach Andra's room, her mother appears. "Nadira," he said, "Come, let's go to Andra's room."

Nadira nodded, following her mother to Andra's room. As they entered, they saw Andra lying on the bed, her eyes open and looking confused.

Nadira looked at Andra and screamed, ran towards her and hugged her tightly. Andra looked surprised, but then returned Nadira's embrace, patting her on the back and trying to calm her down.

"Calm down, Nad," Andra said, "I'm fine. I'm right here."

Nadira was relieved to hear Andra's voice, and her tears began to subside. She felt so relieved that Andra was fine, and she promised herself that she would not let Moona or anyone else scare her like that anymore.

After learning that Andra is fine, Nadira decides to take care of her brother during the day. He wanted to make sure that Andra was comfortable and recovered as quickly as possible. Nadira spends time by Andra's side, helping him with everything he needs.

Since Andra has not been allowed to shower, Nadira helps to clean her face carefully using a wet cloth. He talks to Andra, trying to make her feel better by telling her about her daily life and her friends.

When it was time to eat, Nadira fed Andra gently, making sure she ate enough and got the nutrients she needed. Andra felt very grateful for the care and affection Nadira gave her.

Meanwhile, Moona feels guilty for having convicted Nadira of Andra's circumstances. He decides to send a message to Nadira via WeChat, apologizing for his actions.

Nadira reads Moona's message and is relieved that her friend has realized her mistake. Although she still felt a little angry, she knew that Moona had not intended to hurt her feelings.

"I forgive you, Moona," replied Nadira, "But never harm me like that again. I'm so worried about Andra."

Moona sent a reply message, promising that she would not repeat her mistake. "Thank you, Nadira. I promise I won't do it again."

With Moona's apology accepted, Nadira feels better. She knows that her friends care for her, and she hopes that, together, they will be able to face whatever challenges come their way.

After a few days in the hospital, Andra's condition began to improve. The doctor said he was well enough to go home and continue his recovery in the apartment. Nadira was relieved and happy to hear this news.

On the day Andra was going home, Nadira helped take care of all the necessary paperwork and preparations. The two of them leave the hospital together, talking about their plans for the future and how they will live their lives in the same apartment.

When they arrived at the apartment, Andra was surprised to see how close his apartment was to where Nadira lived. "Wow," he said, "I don't realize how close we are now."

Nadira smiles. "Yes, we're going to be able to spend more time together now" she said, "I hope we can improve our relationship."

Andra nodded, agreeing with Nadira's statement. "I also hope so, Nad," he said, "We must work hard to understand each other again and be as close as we used to be."

In the next few days, Nadira and Andra start living their lives in the same apartment. They often spend time together, both inside and outside the apartment, and slowly begin to rebuild their relationship.

Although there was still a sense of awkwardness and uncertainty between them, the two of them tried hard to support each other and understand each other. They know that their journey may not be easy, but they also know that they have an incredible opportunity to be close again as brothers.
