Chapter 15 > Marrying Audrey?

"Audrey!" pekik Akandra after seeing Audrey's body drenched in blood and seen there is a knife next to his arm.

Without wasting any more time, Akandra immediately carried Audrey's body and took her to the hospital. He walked out of the room holding Audrey's body. "Bi Lina's! Open the car door, hurry!" akandra's orders to the butler with a slight shout.

"Ready, sir," said Bi Lina by running towards the basement.

Bi Marlina or commonly called Lina is a butler who has worked dozens of years at the Xaquille residence. He's about 52 years old. This middle-aged woman had no family, she lived a long life. That is what makes him feel at home working in the Xaquille residence because only Mr. Akandra and the other servants he has now.

Arriving at the basement, Bi Lina opened the door. He helped his master to insert Audrey's body. "Bi Lina accompanied me to the hospital. Quick in!" akandra's orders.

"Good, Sir." Bi Lina got in the car, in the back seat and held Audrey's arm.

After seeing Bi Lina enter, Akandra circled her car and got in. Without much further ado, Akandra hit the gas and drove at above-average speeds. "Sir, what happened to Miss Audrey?" asked Bi Lina while unable to see the condition of the woman covered in blood and unconscious beside her.

"Ask that later! We have to get him to the hospital as soon as possible" Akandra said without looking over as her eyes focused on the road.

Hearing her master's reply, Bi Lina fell silent as well. Along the way, the atmosphere in the car was quite quiet. So that it did not feel, they had arrived at one of the famous hospitals in the city.

Akandra got out of the car and opened the back door. Then she carried Audrey's body and took her into the hospital. "Doctor, please!" yelled Akandra with Audrey's body.

Shortly after, a male doctor with several nurses came carrying a stretcher. Akandra quickly put Audrey to sleep on the stretcher. Without the doctor lingering, the nurse and Akandra ran to take Audrey to the ER room.

Meanwhile, Bi Lina had just entered after parking her car. Yes, Bi Lina can indeed drive. He ran to the ER room to approach his master.

Arriving there, Bi Lina saw Akandra pacing around with a restless face. She was afraid that something bad might happen to Audrey. Hopefully the incision wound doesn't break his pulse.

'Audrey, you still have responsibilities! Your husband still owes me a lot, so you have to survive!' inner Akandra spoke.

"Yes, Audrey's round! I don't think how such a thing could have crossed his mind" Akandra said.

"That's possible, sir. Because, if Bibi was in Miss Audrey's position, Bibi would do the same."

"What do you mean, Bi?" Akandra stopped pacing and looked seriously at his butler's head.

"Sit down, will Aunt explain." Bi Lina invited Akandra to sit in a long chair that had been provided.

Without further ado, Akandra sat down. Followed by Bi Lina who was sitting next to her master. "Look, Mr. .. Which wife can endure such cruel treatment by her own husband? Miss Audrey not only got the KDRT but, her husband had made Miss Audrey a slave by thinking of her as a walking ATM. Of course it made Miss Audrey feel that there was no point in living. His self-esteem is no longer there, even her husband prefers money than his own wife" explained Bi Lina.

"Do you know what I need to do so that I can get Audrey out of her misery and out of her husband?" ask Akandra.

"There's only one way, sir."

"Say!"

"Married Miss Audrey, that way you can protect her."
