Chapter 52 > Weird?

Devanka closed the door with a slam. The look on his face showed that he was upset. He dropped his body on the couch.

His right hand grabbed a teapot filled with white water. Then pour it into an empty glass. He quickly gulped down the glass of water in one gulp.

After drinking, he put the glass back on the table. Devanka rested her head on the sofa while closing her eyes. He had just closed his eyes for a moment when his phone suddenly rang.

Quickly his right hand grabbed the phone that was on the table exactly next to the glass. As soon as the phone was in his grasp, he furrowed both his eyebrows while staring in astonishment at the screen of his phone. How not, the one who called her was none other than Alessa.

What makes Devanka wonder is, how can a dead person come back to life. Although he was astonished, still the man answered his phone. To make sure it is not true, Devanka did not speak before the person who contacted her spoke first.

"Hallo," came a woman's voice from across the phone.

"Hallo,"

"You must have recognized me by my number and voice so I don't have to introduce myself to you anymore. Just get to the point, I called you because I wanted to offer you cooperation" explained the woman named Alessa.

"Cooperation?" Devanka is confused by Alessa's offer.

"Yes, cooperation. If you agree, tomorrow we meet at the cafe, how about?"

Devanka was silent for a moment. After careful thought and because his savings had been depleted he was willing to work with Alessa without knowing what cooperation Alessa meant.

"All right, we'll meet at the cafe tomorrow."

"See you. Tutt!" Alessa decided on the chat.

Phone disconnected!

Drrt! Drrt!

The sound of a cell phone ringing made Audrey wake up from her sleep. He groped the nightstand to retrieve his phone. With his eyes still sticky, he looked at the phone screen.

How surprised he was when he saw the name clearly displayed on the phone screen. Both of his eyes were perfectly opened. How not, the person who contacted her was none other than Devanka, her ex-husband.

Audrey got up and sat down on the edge of the bed. Then he answered his phone. He put the phone in his right ear. While waiting for the voice on the phone to be heard, Audrey decided to get out of the room and go to the pantry.

Phone connected!

"Hello, Audrey. Fortunately you still want to answer my phone," Devanka's voice sounded with a sigh of relief from across the phone.

Audrey just rolled her eyes lazily. "What's wrong? Why call me?" ask Audrey without much ado. He opened the fridge and took a cold drink.

"I miss you, Audrey."

Uhuk! Uhuk!

Audrey who was enjoying a fresh drink immediately choked upon hearing the words of her ex-husband. He put his phone on the pantry table and immediately drank water. As Audrey was gulping down her drink, suddenly someone's burly hands coiled around her stomach.

Audrey turned around and saw the man. Then she smiled sweetly as she looked at the handsome face of the man she loved so much. The man who was hugging Audrey from behind was none other than Akandra Xaquille.

"What's right here?" ask Akandra with her hands still coiled around Audrey's slender waist.

Audrey closed her lips to Akandra's ear and whispered. "He called" whispered Audrey.

Akandra's eyeballs suddenly opened to hear things he did not like. He knew who Audrey meant. Without saying much, Akandra let go of his embrace and grabbed the phone that was on the pantry table.

"Cube knows you one more time, Devanka! Don't you dare call my future wife! If you repeat it again, then I will make a calculation with you! Tutt!" Akandra threatens Devanka and ends her call.

Phone disconnected!

"Ohoo, my future husband is very strict. Really ... I admire you even more," Audrey said with honesty.

"I just did what I had to do. Why did your ex-husband call you again? What's he saying?" ask Akandra with a slightly jealous face.

"Ekhem. Don't tell me you're jealous?" guess Audrey by raising her eyebrows.

"Yes. I'm jealous of him. What if I'm jealous?" check Akandra by pulling a slender waist into her deck.

Audrey's heart was pounding as her ears heard the words. He began to misbehave when he saw Akandra's unusual gaze. His face began to react by turning into a stewed crab-like hue.

"Hehe, it's okay. I love to see Big Brother jealous of this gini cake," replied Audrey grinningly.

"What's? Do you like to see me jealous? You're making me jealous on purpose, Audrey?"

"No, that's not what I meant. I just feel happy. Isn't jealousy a sign of love and affection?"

Akandra fell silent, she did not comment on Audrey's words. He let go of his embrace and walked towards the living room. Meanwhile, Audrey already understood that Akandra was sulking. With that, she immediately followed her future husband into the living room.

Arriving there, he immediately gawked at Akandra who was opening some food. 'This night he ordered food?' Audrey asked inwardly.

Audrey stopped her steps right in front of Akandra. "So I ordered food?" audrey asked with her eyes fixed on the food.

"Heumm," Akandra replied expressionlessly and as briefly as possible.

"This much?" ask Audrey again.

For the second question, Akandra did not answer it. He was actually engrossed in photographing smiling food regardless of Audrey's whereabouts. Seeing this, Audrey decided to go back to her room. She did not want to disturb her future husband.

"If she's sulking like this, what's it still for in my apartment? It sucks!" as Audrey slowly stepped her feet.

"Where are you going?" ask Akandra who has been silent since.

Audrey's steps stopped. "Ask your food" replied Audrey.

Akandra immediately laughed as she moved from her seat. He walked towards Audrey. Then he turned his future wife and looked at her with a fixed gaze.

"You are so adorable." Akandra pinched Audrey's nose.

"Huhuh?" Audrey is astonished by Akandra's completely strange and unusual behavior.

"Guide me eat." Akandra pulls Audrey's hand and takes her to the sofa.

"Sit down!" Akandra sat Audrey.

After that Akandra sat down next to Audrey. He took a slice of pizza and fed Audrey. "Open your mouth" said Akandra with the pizza in front of her mouth.

Audrey who was still astonished was only able to obey her words. He opened his mouth and took the first bribe out of the lover's hand. "Sister, are you okay? Are you sick?" audrey asked with her mouth full. Then he put his palm on Akandra's eel.

"I'm doing fine. Don't ask too many questions, eat too much. Oh yes one more .. if the mouth is full do not talk later choke,"

'Any ... really weird, ' Inner Audrey spoke.
