Chapter 55 > Replaced Bride

1 Month later ...

Day after day passed by Audrey and Akandra. Now came where today was their wedding day. Their wedding was not too fancy because at Audrey's request who did not want such a lavish wedding. All that is not without reason, Audrey reasoned that their marriage was smooth without interference from her sister.

Akandra was sitting in front of the guardians, witnesses and other guests. Meanwhile, Audrey was still in the dressing room. He was sitting in front of a dresser mirror. The bride was only accompanied by two women who helped her decorate.

After everything was done, Audrey was picked up by Daniel. They walked towards one of the rooms that would be used to conduct the wedding. However, in the middle of the trip, Daniel suddenly asked Audrey for permission to go to the toilet for a while.

"Miss Audrey, wait a minute. I suddenly went to the toilet" Daniel said, holding something back.

"Yes, Brother. Go ahead. I'll wait here" Audrey replied with a nod and a small smile.

After getting permission from Audrey, Daniel ran to the toilet. As for Audrey, she was just waiting for the Akandra confidant to come. While waiting for Daniel, Audrey looked at her two hands that had been decorated with hena.

I don't know what happened, suddenly a burly hand smothered Audrey's mouth with a cloth that had been mixed with drugs. Audrey tries to rebel while asking for help. But no one heard much more about helping him. Then Audrey fainted.

"Hurry and get him to the car!" the order of a woman who had just come with a suitcase.

"Good, Boss." The burly man quickly carried Audrey's body to a car parked in Akandra's backyard.

Meanwhile, a woman named Alessa walks into the dressing room and asks the fairies to make up for her. "Quick you guys get my makeup done as fast as you can!" Alessa's orders.

Of course the two fairies were surprised not to play. How can the woman they have made up return to meet him and also ask to come back. Somehow, the woman who had been ready had come in different clothes by the time she came out of the dressing room.

"Didn't Miss just come out and we've made up. How can Miss look so different? What's going on?" ask one of the perias.

"Already, don't talk much. Quickly make up for me! My marriage is about to begin!" alessa firmly with a taut tone.

Inevitably, the two fairies also obeyed Alessa's orders. They started putting on Alessa's face. Meanwhile, Daniel who had just come from the direction of the toilet was astonished when he did not see Audrey.

"Where did Miss Audrey go? Did she go to the dressing room again?" Daniel wondered to himself as he walked towards the dressing room.

Arriving at the dressing room, Daniel went straight into the room. "Miss Audrey, let's meet Mr. Akandra. The show is about to begin" Daniel told the sitting woman and. She thought that woman was Audrey.

"In a moment, Brother." Alessa got out of her seat after she finished.

Daniel did not feel the slightest suspicion towards the woman before him. Then he takes Alessa to meet Akandra. 'Good, Daniel doesn't suspect me. Soon I will be Akandra's wife. And you are Audrey .. You have lost!' inner Alessa speaks.

In one of the unkempt rooms, a beautiful woman wearing a white wedding dress was sitting on a wooden chair with her hands and feet tied. That woman was none other than Audrey. The woman who was supposed to be married to a man named Akandra could only sit unconscious.

Simultaneously, Audrey suddenly regained her senses and was shocked to see the man before her. "Hmmmppzz!" Audrey tried to scream but her mouth was covered by a cloth.

"Want to talk, honey?" asked the man by stroking Audrey's pretty face.

"Hhmmp!" Audrey rebelled by trying to untie her hand.

"Well, I'll open it." The man immediately opened the gagging cloth.

"Yeahhh! What do you want, Devan?" audrey asked with a firmer breath.

Right, the man who had been looking at her, stroking Audrey's face was none other than her ex-husband Devanka. Hearing that, Devanka smiled as she looked at Audrey with a strange look. Then, she moved from her seat without answering any questions from Audrey.

"Take me off, Devan! Why are you doing this? Remember that I have no relationship with you anymore!" Audrey again reminds Devanka of her divorced status.

"I know that, Audrey. But, I just realized that I can't live without you. I need you" Devanka said.

"What's? Need me? Haah! Do you need me or my money? Are you not satisfied that you have tormented me all this time? Is the money you've earned from me not enough, huh?" audrey snapped straight up the apoplexy.

"I know I was wrong. All this time I've made your life suffer. Therefore, I want to make up for it by marrying you again. I need your attention, your affection, your love and your sincerity. I miss you so much, dear." Devanka cupped Audrey's cheeks and looked at her with a sad look.

"It's too late, Devan. I'm happy with Akandra. I'm gonna marry him. Please let me go. I'll give you the money as long as you release me. Right now Akandra's sister is waiting for me," Audrey persuaded in a polite tone.

"No. It's not too late. It is precisely you who are late to marry Mr. Akandra," Devanka chimpanzee with a triumphant smile.

"What do you mean?" audrey asked with her two rounded eyes.

"Mr Akandra is married to Alessa. Your own sister has replaced you" replied Devanka.

Audrey's heart stopped beating immediately. His knees were limp, so without him noticing, his tears had already dripped down his cheeks. Then he shook his head by looking at Devanka.

"That's impossible! Akandra's sister couldn't have married Alessa. That's not possible! You must be lying to me!" Audrey doesn't want to believe her ex-husband's words.

"That's possible! Because Akandra thinks that Alessa is you. Maybe they're doing the first night. Really, you have lost to your sister. Fighting Alessa is not easy, because the woman is very cunning and ambitious. He can do everything in his power to get his goal. So give up and marry me."
