Chapter 73 > Escape?

"I heard your own sister talking on the phone with her boyfriend" Audrey replied.

"really? Can you tell me how my sister's boyfriend is?" akandra asked with a face that showed her curiosity.

"For that I don't know, Mom. I just heard his voice didn't see what it looked like,"

"Alright, I'll ask Fandra directly," Akandra said.

On the other hand, Daniel is currently walking towards the basement with two portions of food for prisoners who are Alessa and Devanka. As usual, the man had to pass through a passageway that had a secret-coded door. After passing through three secret doors, Daniel was already in front of the storage room.

However, he had not been able to open the door Daniel felt something strange. With a panicked face, the man immediately broke down the door and was surprised to see something he did not want. Without lingering, Daniel immediately dropped the food he was carrying and immediately ran away from the room.

In a different city in B. The couple is currently in a hotel room. Right, they're Akandra and his wife, Audrey. They were resting for a moment to leave tired after his journey.

They were currently sitting on the bed with Audrey's head leaning against the chest of her husband's field. "Mas, did Mas tell Grandpa Rama that we have arrived?" audrey asked with her head up.

"No, Honey. I will be notified later. Right now, I just want to be with you" Akandra pinched his wife's chin.

"This one ...." Audrey shook her head. "I'm with you every day, baby." Audrey smiled sweetly at her husband.

Suddenly there was a ringtone of Akandra's phone on the nightstand right next to her bed. Akandra and Audrey looked at each other. Then Audrey's husband immediately grabbed the flat object.

Once the phone was in his grasp, Akandra was seen furrowing both eyebrows with eyes looking at the screen of her phone. Audrey, who saw her husband's reaction, tried to justify her sitting position and looked at her husband's cell phone screen. "Daniel called, Mas. Why aren't you picking up the phone?" audrey asked her husband.

"Let it go, maybe it's a work problem. Let him call Fandra, because the whole job was handled by my sister. Right now I want to spend my time with you without anyone bothering her" Akandra replied by putting her phone back on the nightstand.

"Have a moment, Mas. Maybe something is important or urgent. It won't be hours 'cause Daniel called you, so just pick up, '" said Audrey, politely, stroking her husband's hand gently.

"Hmm .. well, I'll pick it up." Akandra, who was unwilling to pick up the phone from his confidant, suddenly picked up Daniel's phone after his wife's speech.

Now his hand is back grabbing his phone back which he had put on the nightstand. Once the phone was in his grasp, Daniel's phone was turned off. However, Akandra decides to call Daniel back.

It didn't take long for Daniel to pick up the phone from him. Once the phone is connected, Akandra sticks the phone to her right ear. Meanwhile, Audrey just looked at the husband who was talking on the phone.

Phone connected!

"Call, Daniel. What's up?" Akandra asked once the phone was connected.

"Now, sir ...." Daniel's voice was so panicked and stammered.

"Calm down, take a breath and talk" Akandra said.

"Alessa and Devanka, sir. They-"

"What's wrong with them? If you speak it is clear!" firmly Akandra with a tone that is slightly on high.

"What?"

Akandra was immediately shocked from his bed. Both of his eyes were perfect. Then his eyes turned toward the wife who was still sitting on the bed with both eyes staring at him.

Just like Akandra, Audrey was shocked. How not, he also heard what Daniel said. Until the two look at each other.

"I'm sorry, sir."

"I don't want to hear your regrets, Daniel! How could they have managed to escape while all the doors contained a secret code that only you and I knew. That doesn't make any sense!" firmly Akandra with a voice that seemed a little angry.

"I don't understand either, Sir. How they managed to escape. I always close all the doors when I finish delivering food for them" said Daniel, who was confused by his master.

"I don't want to know, now you're looking for them until you can! If, no .. you know what you will receive. Tutt!" Akandra immediately ended the conversation by disconnecting the phone.

Phone disconnected!

After speaking on the phone, Akandra sat down next to his wife. With the annoyance that the man felt, he began to examine what was really going on in the basement when he was not around. Akandra went to his laptop and sat back down with his wife. After that, he opened the CCTV footage through the laptop.

Audrey also watched the CCTV footage. At first they did not find anything strange. However, at certain minutes, they clearly saw something suspicious. The CCTV footage shows Daniel walking to a storage room with a white plastic bag.

"What's he bringing, Mom?" audrey asked her husband.

"Okay, we'll look closely. It seems that what Daniel brought was not food," Akandra replied with her focused eyes watching her laptop screen.

"Mas, I think I know what Daniel brought." Audrey looked at the husband with a serious look.

Both of Akandra's eyeballs were directly fixed on his wife. "See this, Mommy." Audrey zoomed in on the plastic bag Daniel was carrying.

"What's that?" Akandra asked with eyes fixed on the screen that his wife had already zoomed in.

"Seeing from the shape, it's like baby powder" Audrey replied as she checked back.

"Baby powder? But, what's he taking her to the confinement room for?"

"So, let's take a look at this CCTV footage of what Daniel's doing next" Audrey advised her husband.

Hearing this, Akandra obeyed his wife. And sure enough on CCTV Daniel was seen coming out of the holding room in a hurry and looked so upset. I don't know what made his confidants so upset.

At the last minute Akandra and Audrey saw very clearly that Alessa and Devanka were doing something. Frantically, Akandra grabbed my phone and called Daniel. Seeing the panic on her husband's face, Audrey clasped her husband's hand with a soothing smile.

"Relax, Mum. Don't panic like this" Audrey said gently.

"How could I not panic while the two men managed to escape? What if they go back and act that'll make us misunderstand again?" Akandra stared at the wife.
