CHAPTER 24. Chris VS Owen

Owen's refusal to call her mommy, doesn't make Emma angry. Emma strongly understands seven-year-old Owen as having more of his own thoughts and may even be able to refute the words of parents.
Even so, Emma believes she can melt Owen's heart. Owen would definitely accept it after they got to know each other closely.
While Chris breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of a small smile still adorning at the corner of Emma's lips signified the young girl was not offended by Owen's rejection.
"Why?" ask Chris to Owen.
Chris told Owen about Emma via a video call. At that moment, Owen did not show any reaction of rejection. Owen has always encouraged Chris to find a new mother for him.
Even Chris also sent a photo of his wedding with Emma to Owen and his beloved son praised the beauty of Emma.
Owen did not answer Chris' question, but instead approached Emma and held Emma's hand.
"Emma is so beautiful. I like you!" said Owen while showing a pepsodent smile.
"Thank you, Owen! You are also very handsome!" Emma returned Owen's praise.
Owen's pair of glowing blue eyes made Emma even more fond of the boy before her. What else is the aura emanating from Owen's body like Chris that makes Emma feel comfortable.
Owen let go of his grasp and reached into something from his pants pocket. A small box of embellishment was given Owen to Emma.
"Forku?" ask Emma.
"Yes," Owen replied as he nodded his head.
Emma opened the jewelry box, which turned out to contain a very beautiful gold bracelet. Emma didn't have to ask how Owen could buy the luxury jewelry because Emma believed Owen bought it with Chris's credit card.
Owen's hand helped put the bracelet on Emma's wrist quickly.
"Thank you Owen" said Emma.
"Thank you kiss," Owen replied as he pointed at his own cheek.
Emma chuckled and gave a brief peck on Owen's cheek.
Owen laughed cheerfully, then sat right between Emma and Chris. Owen clasped Emma's hand again.
Chris furrowed his brows at Owen's attitude towards Emma. Suddenly Chris had a bad feeling.
"Daddy! I'm more suited to being Emma's partner. Daddy's too old for Emma" Owen said casually.
Emma laughed out loud spontaneously at seeing Chris' annoyed face. This is the first time Emma has seen a different expression from Chris.
Chris has always been gentle and generous with Emma so that Chris in the mind and heart of Emma is a gentleman, who always acts using common sense and can withstand emotions.
Today's incident makes Emma sure only Owen is able to upset Chris.
Owen paid no heed to Chris' annoyed face. The handsome boy was stunned to look at Emma who was laughing cheerfully.
"Emma! I'll marry you when I grow up" Owen said solemnly.
Emma replied with a slow nod of her head. He could not bear to see Owen's disappointed face. This is just a white story for Emma.
"Little promise!" said Owen happily as he raised his little finger.
Emma hooked her little finger. "Chris must've been a pinkie appointment with Owen," Emma's inner self.
"Yes! Daddy's! Emma's my future wife now. So I couldn't possibly call her mommy" Owen said.
"Can't! I'm Emma's legal husband!" chris said while showing the wedding ring on his ring finger.
"Emma! Divorce daddy now," pinta Owen in a spoiled voice.
"Sorry, Owen! Chris and I agreed, only Chris could ask for a divorce" Emma said.
"Daddy sneaky! Use the contract agreement to bind Emma," said Owen.
Owen's thoughts are the same as Rocky's thoughts that came to hear their conversation from the beginning. The two of them wouldn't have expected a mutual agreement between Chris and Emma just verbally without writing and signatures.
"It's a good thing I put forward three conditions at that time" said Chris.
"Your wish won't come true, Owen! You better focus on learning. Daddy believes your school lessons are lacking. Daddy will be adding private lessons for you again" said Chris casually.
"Oh No!" inner Owen.
Owen regretted his decision to challenge Chris blatantly. He should have done it secretly so as not to be punished.
"Yes daddy" replied Owen obediently.
"Good boys! You must be hungry. Let's have lunch now. Daddy's been cooking your favorite meal" Chris said.
Chris and Emma accidentally don't have lunch first because they want to have lunch with Owen.
Chris stood up from the sofa and pulled Emma's hand so the young girl stood up. Chris embraces his loving wife towards the dining room. Owen followed behind with a lethargic face, but his mind was thinking of a brilliant plan for Emma to be his wife.

The atmosphere of eating together was calm. Owen recounts his activities at school and dormitories to Emma with enthusiasm.
Emma heard it carefully. Sometimes Emma takes a side dish for Owen and Owen spends it quickly.
Chris was pleased that Owen was being nice and liked Emma. And vice versa, Chris can feel Emma sincerely loves Owen.
Although Owen still calls Emma by her name straight away, Chris doesn't matter. Chris is sure when Emma is pregnant with her baby, Owen will definitely give up and call Emma with a mommy call.
Chris smiled slightly and began to imagine the baby born by Emma later, must be very beautiful or handsome, inheriting the characteristics of both of them.
The sound of Chris' cellphone ringing made the young man realize from his daydream. Chris picked up the phone and stared at the name that appeared on the phone screen.
"Rio?" inner Chris.
Chris is sure Rio called him at the moment there must be something important with the company.
"Emma! I'll go to the study first!" chris said as he stood up from the chair and peeked at Emma's head once.
Then Chris held Owen's shoulder. "Eat a lot. All your favorite foods" Chris said.
"OK daddy," Owen replied obediently.
