CHAPTER 37. Blood type

Emma's entourage was relieved after William's departure. Emma and Owen continue their second school inspection after getting enough rest.

In the end Owen chose the first school as his school so that Emma's group went to the first school to take care of registration directly so that Owen can go straight to school on Monday.

Emma is currently in the school admin room to fill out the registration form. Some of Owen's important letters are already in Emma's hands. Chris gave it to make it easier for Emma to enroll in school.

Five minutes later, Emma's hand movements that were filling out the form stopped abruptly. There was a question that made him unable to answer.

Emma picks up the phone from inside the bag, with the intention to call Chris. However, Emma saved her phone again because she remembered Chris' text that the young man would meet with several heads of the Nicholas Company department before returning to Watson's Mansion.

Emma looked back and called Rocky.

"What's the matter Miss Emma?" ask Rocky.

"You still have Stella's data?" ask Emma.

Stella is the name of Chris' first wife and Owen's biological mother. During this time Emma never took the initiative to find out about Stella, but because of the form that must be filled, Emma asked Rocky.

Rocky, in charge of checking Chris and Rocky's identities, informs Emma of Stella's death in the hospital.

"There's still, Miss Emma. Waita minute!" answer Rocky.

Rocky gives his cell phone to Emma after opening Stella's personal data file. Emma then filled out the registration form.

"Blood type Stella O. Same with me and Chris, "inner Emma.

Suddenly Emma was surprised and double-checked the part of the form that had been filled in first, namely Owen's data.

"Owen's blood type is A. How's it possible?" inner Emma.

To the knowledge of Emma, the child born to both parents who have blood type O, should also be O. Except for children of blood group O and A, most likely can have blood type O or A.

"I'll ask Chris later" said Emma.

Emma trusts Chris completely and believes Chris will be honest with her.

***Mansion Watson***

Emma, Owen, and Chris have dinner with the Watson Family. As per his promise to Emma, Chris arrives at the mansion before dinner time.

The dinner was peaceful and smooth. Tonight the dishes are served on the table in addition to Emma's favorite dishes, there is also Owen's favorite cuisine.

Owen ate with gourmand and vigor. Owen loved being at Watson's Mansion because of the love of Tom, Dylan, and Liam.

Owen is grateful in his heart that Chris is married to Emma so he has a grandfather and two handsome uncles.

Owen and Chris lived alone. Owen had no idea who his grandparents were or knew Chris's extended family because Chris never talked about his extended family.

The smart and sensitive Owen can feel Chris does not like his extended family so that Owen does not care about them. Owen only cared about Chris as a real father who cared for and loved him since childhood.

After dinner, Emma accompanies Owen briefly in the guest room, while Chris chats with Tom, Dylan, and Liam.

Tom and Dylan inquired about the development of the Christian Company which had officially acquired the Nicholas Company today. They both wanted to know when Chris announced the news to the public.

Chris answered honestly all of Tom and Dylan's questions. In the end they both agreed with Chris' plan to announce the important news this Saturday.

***Emma's bedroom***

Emma was sitting leaning against the bed while sending a chat with Alana. Emma invites Alana to meet tomorrow afternoon because Emma bought souvenirs for Alana from Sydney.

The sound of the door opening made Emma turn her attention there. Chris smiled faintly and walked closer to the bed.

Chris stood right beside the bed. Emma moved her body to her knees on the bed, while her hands were already coiled around Chris' neck.

"Honey's been in the shower?" ask Emma.

"Of course" replied Emma.

"Try me to check!" said Chris.

Chris hugged Emma's slender waist with his left hand, while his right hand rubbed Emma's cheek gently. Then Chris advanced his face and inhaled the scent of liquid soap from Emma's neckline.

Emma laughs amusedly at the warm breath from Chris' nose.

"That's fine," said Chris.

"You are also fragrant" said Emma.

Chris pinches Emma's puffy nose. "Your mouth is so sweet, honey. I'm taking a shower now. Wait for me!" chris said with a smile of meaning.

Emma knew Chris was deliberately teasing her because of her 'red cross' condition, it was impossible to be friendly with Chris.

"OKAY. I wait!" answer Emma.

Chris kissed Emma on the forehead before taking a nightgown and stepping into the bathroom.

Emma sat back on the bed. The young girl wanted to ask about Stella and Owen to Chris.

From this afternoon, various speculations and questions had arisen in Emma's mind.

Did Stella have an affair giving birth to Owen? If so, why does Owen's face have any resemblance to Chris's. Even Emma could clearly feel Chris' affection for Owen very sincerely.

Emma is sure if she does not ask Chris clearly tonight, then most likely she can not sleep soundly as usual.
