CHAPTER 28. Stay at Watson Mansion

SYDNEY

***Chris workspace at Christian Company***

Chris pensively shuts down his phone with Jack. Jack's words were ringing in Chris's mind.

"Jack's girlfriend Emma's friend? Lawyer lady?" inner Chris.

Chris vividly remembers some of Emma's best friends, whom Emma introduced to him during a wedding reception in Bali.

One of them is Alana, a female lawyer. Alana is one of the Watson family's personal lawyers.

Alana's appearance was very cold with an expressionless face and short hair. It fits well with his serious profession.

Chris could not imagine how the cold Jack could find a partner of the same type. How could two icebergs possibly date?

"Maybe Jack's girlfriend isn't Alana," Chris' inner self.

Chris used the phone in the office room to call Rio, who was sitting near his work door.

"Hello Mr. Chris!" greet Rio while picking up the phone.

"Rio! Please make a contract for the acquisition of the Nicholas Company!" chris's orders.

"Okay, Mr. Chris!" replied Rio.

Without the day changing quickly. Dylan had already returned to Bali after a three-day stay in Sydney to meet his business partner and Emma.

Dylan welcomed Chris' decision to move the Christian Company to Bali. From Chris' actions, Dylan believes Chris' love for Emma is huge and deep.

While Owen was overjoyed by the news that Emma had told him. Owen was already impatiently waiting for the day of their move to Bali.

Every night Owen would sleep in Chris and Emma's room. Chris did not ban Owen and let him, but Chris already had other plans to face Owen after they arrived in Bali later.

As per Chris' promise to Emma, the problems William poses in the work projects can be solved by Chris.

It causes William to go berserk as his attempt to take down Chris's Company fails miserably.

What's more, Hans scolds him for not disturbing the Christian Company in Sydney, causing William to stop the action and decide to wait for Emma to come home from Sydney to persuade the young girl to come back with him again.

William does not know it was Tom Watson who contacted Hans and informed him of all William's actions to destroy his daughter-in-law's company in Sydney so that Hans rebuked William.

Finally the big day that Chris, Emma, and Owen are waiting for arrives. The three of them were in a Toyota Land Cruiser to Kingsford-Smith Airport.

Rocky and Rio are in a Toyota Camry and following a Toyota Land Cruiser from behind.

Chris did not sell his big house in Sydney because it could be a resting place for his small family when they visit Sydney again.

Mr. Panca and the five servants are in charge of guarding and caring for the mansion, while Chris' luxury cars will be taken care of by Mr. Endy.

Chris did not bring his two trusted servants with him to Bali because the two middle-aged men already had their own small family in Sydney. Only Rio followed Chris moving to Bali.

Rio will stay in one of the rented houses that Chris prepared for him. Rio's rented house is close to the Nicholas Company, which will be renamed the Christian Company in the near future.

While the nanny and bodyguard Owen also did not move to Bali, for the same reason as Pak Panca and Pak Endy.

Chris plans to find a new nanny for Owen in Bali later. While regarding the bodyguard, Chris can ask Jack for help to choose the right person from Jack's subordinates.

***On board a Qantas flight to Bali***

Owen sits between Emma and Chris. Chris rechecked the safety belt to make sure it was perfectly attached to Emma and Owen's body.

"Owen! six hour plane trip. You can sleep when you're sleepy" Chris said.

"Okay daddy" replied Owen.

The Qantas plane is expected to land in Bali at six in the afternoon so Chris's family can have dinner together at Watson's Mansion.

By the time the plane was flying in the air, Owen was excited to see a white cloud cloud through the plane's window.

Emma, who was sitting by the window, swapped seats with Owen. Owen grew more enthusiastic and excited looking at the scenery out there.

"I'm coming to Bali!" said Owen.

"Sleep honey! The journey is still long and long" Chris said as he stroked Emma's face.

"All right" replied Emma.

Chris covers Emma with a blanket. Both of their hands were still clasping each other tightly under the blanket that covered Emma's body.

Moments later, Emma fell asleep. While Owen who was satisfied to see the view through the plane window and intended to switch seats again with Emma, undo his intention because Emma had fallen asleep quickly.

"Daddy! Why is Emma sleeping so fast?" protest Owen in a small voice.

"Because Emma likes the scent of daddy's body," Chris replied casually.

"really? I also wear the same bath soap as daddy" Owen said with a look of disbelief.

Lately in addition to Owen monopoly on Chris' bed, Owen also bathed in the bathroom in Chris' room.

"Daddy never lies. Every night you go to bed first instead of Emma, right? That proves Emma can only fall asleep because she's in my arms" Chris explained at length.

"More times I'll wait for Emma to sleep first" Owen said.

"Nothing next time, Owen!" inner Chris.

"Owen. You sleep too. Later daddy woke up," said Chris.

"OK daddy," Owen replied obediently.

Twenty minutes later, Chris stared at Emma and Owen's sleeping face in turn.

"From today our small family will live happily in Bali. I won't let anyone ruin my happiness!" the heart of Chris.

When Qantas planes landed at Ngurah Rai Airport, Rocky and Rio were in charge of retrieving their luggage.

Most of the personal items from Sydney had already been delivered in stages and were in Chris' new home, but tonight they did not return there but rather to the Watson Mansion.

Dylan has sent the private driver of the mansion to pick up Chris' entourage at Ngurah Rai airport.

Tom Watson welcomed Emma's return with great joy. Dylan and Liam were also in the mansion for dinner together.

Owen's ingenuity, obedient attitude, and sweet mouth made Tom like him. Tom had already imagined the presence of an adorable grandson like Owen.

The dinner atmosphere was lively. All of Emma's favorite foods are served on the dining table.

Chris, Emma, and Owen will stay at Watson's Mansion for a week before they stay in Chris' newly renovated home.

Chris made the decision because Chris knew Emma's departure for a month was more likely to make the Watson family miss the young girl. And vice versa. She misses Tom, Dylan, and Liam.

Of course Tom accepts Chris' little family staying at Watson's Mansion happily. Chris slept in Emma's room, while Owen slept in the guest room obediently.

Emma has no idea when they finish dinner and Emma herself is busy chatting with members of the Watson Family, Chris purposely talking in private with Owen.

Chris and Owen have made a mutual agreement that Owen should not sleep with Emma and himself again while living in Bali.

If not, Chris will find a school with a dormitory so that Owen can only go home on school holidays.

Though it was just a mere bluff from Chris so that Owen did not interfere with his we time with Emma.

Owen was forced to accept the deal because he did not want to separate from Emma.
