CHAPTER 25. Small annoyance

***Chris workspace***

Chris sat down at work and called Rio. The call from Rio was interrupted after ringing five times.

Usually Rio will give five minutes to call back if Chris has not picked up the phone. That included one of the working rules set by Chris against Rio.

"Mr Chris!" greet Rio while answering a phone call from Chris.

"What's Rio?" ask Chris.

"Sorry to disturb Mr. Chris' privacy. There's something important I have to say. Business associates in Bali cut employment contracts abruptly," Rio reported.

"Disclosure of employment contract? Bali?" inner Chris.

Instantly in the mind of Chris appeared suspicion of the figure of the man, William. The only people who hate him and have great power to make business partners in Bali break the employment contract.

Full information regarding William is already known by Chris as Rio investigates Emma's identity. Chris knows William is one of the successful entrepreneurs, but has a high ego attitude.

Chris believes William must have been shaken when he found out Emma was married to him. However, Chris did not expect William to use dirty ways to deal with it.

"Rio! Investigate all projects Christian Company is working on. Both new and ongoing projects. Schedule an internal meeting tomorrow morning!" chris's orders.

"Okay Mr. Chris!" replied Rio.

***Chris and Emma's bedroom***

Chris and Emma were lying on the bed hugging.

"Emma! Tomorrow morning I have to go to the office for an internal meeting. So can't keep you company to pick up Dylan's sister" Chris said.

"It's okay Chris. Work is more important. Is there a problem in the company?" she asked Emma, looking at Chris.

Ever since Chris received the phone call, the young man was in his study until dinner time, and Chris went out to cook for him in the kitchen. After dinner, Chris goes to work again so Emma suspects that something is going on.

"Not a big deal. I can handle it" Chris replied as he patted Emma's back gently.

Chris does not want Emma to worry and feels guilty if he finds out William used dirty ways to destroy his company.

Right now Chris is one hundred percent sure of William's mastermind. Several projects in Sydney are also experiencing problems simultaneously. Chris had to take care of it as soon as possible so as not to get worse.

"Tomorrow Owen can come with me? Pity that she's home alone" Emma said.

"Of course I can. Owen's nanny and bodyguard were in. They can use a Toyota Camry and follow your car from behind" said Chris.

Owen is a very active child if he is outside so Chris does not want Emma tired of taking care of Owen. Caregivers and bodyguards can help keep Owen safe when Emma meets Dylan.

"alright. You are indeed the best daddy and husband," said Emma while kissing Chris' chin.

"You're my favorite wife. I won't let anyone take you away from me!" chris said and tightened his embrace.

"Including Owen?" asked Emma with a small laugh.

Emma thought Chris was still jealous of Owen's words this afternoon.

"Owen is not my rival" replied Chris confidently.

"Are you sure?" emma asked with a mischievous smile at the corner of her lips.

"Of course! I have occupied your heart anyway. There is no room for another man anymore" Chris replied.

Emma put both hands around Chris' neck, then rubbed her nose with Chris's nose.

Moments later, Emma's left hand held Chris's neck, while the fingers of her right hand moved down from Chris' cheek, towards the neck, then made a small twist on Chris' chest.

"What about your heart? Is it already full by me and there is no empty space for another woman?" ask Emma.

"Of course!" chris replied sure.

"I'll check it out!" said Emma.

Emma pushes Chris' body to lie on the bed and Emma sits on top of Chris' body quickly.

Both of Emma's hands pulled Chris's nightshirt up so that the young man's six pack belly was visible.

Emma moved her face and kissed Chris' lips gently. Chris kisses Emma. Over time Chris is getting lulled by Emma's kiss.

Chris admitted that in his little heart, Emma was smarter than their first kiss. The kiss that was originally sweet, now turned into a kiss that made Chris addicted and want to enjoy it continuously.

Emma stopped her kiss from Chris' lips. "You likey?" asked Emma with a seductive look.

Chris nodded his head. Emma smiled faintly and placed her lips around Chris' neck. A gentle kiss touched Chris' neck. Emma's hands danced in the belly of Chris' six pack, causing electricity that stung Chris' body.

Emma does not stop her action and increasingly moves aggressively giving kiss and touch on Chris' body.

Chris tightly hugged Emma's back and rolled to the side until their positions swapped.

Chris was on top of Emma's body and stared intensely at Emma's face that was met red like a tomato.

"I love you, Emma!" said Chris.

"I love you too!" emma looked back at Chris.

Chris kissed Emma's lips aggressively. Emma replied to him with the same rhythm. The longer the kiss burned both of their bodies.

Chris left one love bite on Emma's neck. The two of them clearly heard the sound of the roar of breath and the rapid heartbeat of each other's bodies.

The sound of a loud knock on the door of the room from the outside makes Chris stop his fantasy adventure intentions with Emma.

"Emma! Daddy!" call Owen from outside the door.

"Owen!" chris murmured while gritting his teeth.

Emma chuckled and kissed Chris' lips a few times to ease Chris' annoyance.

"Emma! Daddy!" Owen called out to them while knocking on the door again.

"Just a second!" answer Chris.

Chris tidied up Emma's clothes quickly and also Emma's messy hair first before tidying up her own clothes.

Chris covered Emma's entire body with a blanket up to the neck, then went down from the bed to the door.

"What's up Owen? Why aren't you asleep?" ask Chris.

"I want to sleep with daddy and Emma" Owen replied casually, then barged into Chris' bedroom.

A pair of pillows and bolsters were already in Owen's arms. Chris believes his beloved son is determined to sleep here.

"Dome!" call Owen as he climbs onto the bed. Owen accidentally sleeps between Emma and Chris.

"Owen. Let's go to sleep now" Emma said as she stroked Owen's head.

Chris got into bed and lay down next to Owen.

"Good night Emma! Good night daddy!" said Owen. A satisfied smile fell on the corner of Owen's lips.

"Good night Owen!" chris and Emma at the same time.

Ten minutes later, there was a regular breathing sound from Owen, indicating that Owen had fallen asleep.

Since childhood, Chris did get Owen to sleep at nine o'clock so that whenever the time comes, Owen must sleep soundly.

Chris got out of bed and held Owen, then placed him slowly on the bed.

Chris took over Owen's bedside. Now Chris is in the middle, between Owen and Emma.

As Chris hugged Emma's waist tightly, the young girl chuckled as she covered her mouth with her hands to keep Owen from waking up.

"Good night honey" said Chris after giving a kiss on the top of Emma's head.

"Good night Chris" Emma replied.

The two of them did not regret the failure of the fantasy adventure this time because of the appearance of the little bully. They have many other opportunities. Neither Chris nor Emma wanted to rush it and wanted to enjoy every moment of their togetherness.

The mood of Chris and Emma is very happy because both of them are sure of their feelings. Love and affection for each other will be a strong foundation in their marriage bond.
