CHAPTER 39. Emma's Worries
***Emma's bedroom at Watson's Mansion***
The atmosphere in the bedroom still sounded sobbing from Emma, while Chris tried to calm his beloved wife.
Various ways done by Chris such as kissing the top of Emma's head and patting her back. In the end, Emma's cry came to a halt as Chris kissed the two corners of the eye, part of Emma's tears flowing.
Chris rubbed Emma's wet cheeks. Her pair of shady brown eyes stared intensely at Emma's face so that the young girl felt at ease.
"Honey! I'm fine! Don't cry anymore. Your tears are precious. Don't cry over my dark past. The smiles and happiness that should decorate your face" said Chris gently.
"All your bad memories are gone. I make sure the good memories that will fill your life forever" Emma said solemnly.
"Sure!" answer Chris.
Chris and Emma smiled broadly at the same time. Emma took the initiative to sit on Chris' lap. Emma's head rested on Chris' chest and a pair of her hands were embracing Chris' waist.
"Chris! I want to sleep on your lap tonight" Emma said.
"Of course you can, my queen!" answer Chris.
During this time not only Emma who feels comfortable sleeping in the arms or lap of Chris. Chris also loves the warmth and natural body scent of Emma.
Emma closed her eyes tightly with a small smile. The young girl had already imagined meeting Chris du his beautiful dream in the near future.
Suddenly Emma opened her eyes in remembrance of something. "Girl!" call Emma.

"My mother also died after giving birth to me. Papa, Brother Dylan, and Brother Liam will be your father and brother Chris. The Watson family is your only family" Emma said seriously.
"I won't let the Alexander Family harass us!" chris's Promise.
"What if they want to take Owen?" ask Emma worried.
Emma's worry is very true because Owen is Jordan's only son, who is the heir to the Alexander Family.
"I won't let Owen get brought back there. After all, there are other people who have taken Jordan's position since Jordan died" Chris explained.
"I will be with you to face them if they dare to disturb our happiness" Emma promised.
"I was very lucky not to turn down your marriage offer back then" Chris said, pinching Emma's nose.
"That means I'm your legal and first wife. You're a widower just a status," joked Emma.
Chris chuckled at Emma's plain words. Chris brought his lips closer to Emma's ear and whispered.
"Although not a widower, I can take you on a fun fantasy adventure" Chris says and deliberately bites Emma's earlobe gently.
Emma pinched Chris' waist spontaneously. Chris laughed heartily at the red hue on Emma's cheeks.
Emma releases her pinches and adjusts her body position again to comfortably sleep on Chris' lap.
"Oh yeah, honey! Papa and Kak Dylan wanted an introductory event and the launching of the Christian Company this Saturday to be held at the Watson Mansion. I've agreed to it" said Chris.
"Good! Tomorrow I and Owen go to Athena's Boutique to buy party clothes for us to wear later," Emma said excitedly.
"OKAY. Thank you honey. Sorry to bother you," said Chris. One kiss landed on Emma's cheek.
"It's okay Chris. I know you must be busy taking care of the company" Emma said.
"Yes. After the launch event and we moved to a new house, my job was not so crowded anymore. I must've made time for you, like in Sydney" Chris promised.
Emma nodded her head and kissed Chris on the cheek. The young girl was happy to get Chris who was understanding and caring towards her.
Chris is willing to tell the dark past and also tell about Chris' conversation with Tom and Dylan earlier.
Emma likes the honesty and open attitude of Chris to her so she will do the same.
"Chris! I met Will. Will accidentally comes to the restaurant and shows up again when we inspect the second school. I suspect Will hired a private detective to follow me. You have to be careful" Emma said.
"Will has a malicious intent to take Emma away from me" Chris said.
Chris is very sure of his premonition because the private detective is only following Emma alone so it can be ascertained that William's main target is Emma.
Mr. Oka, Chris' new driver is a senior bodyguard recommended by Jack so Mr. Oka must have realized quickly if anyone followed him earlier this morning.
"Tomorrow I'll call Jack to take care of the private detective" Chris said.
"OKAY. Looks like your relationship with Jack is very close" Emma said.
"Yes. I'm going to introduce Jack to you at this Saturday's launching event" Chris said.
Chris can imagine the curious face of Emma when he sees Jack present with Alana. Chris believes his beloved wife has yet to find out the intimate relationship between Alana and Jack. It must be because Alana kept it a secret.
"Jack! I was wondering when you could melt Alana's snow mountain" Chris said.
"Honey. I turned off the nightstand lights. If not, we can talk late at night" Chris joked.
"Okay Chris" replied Emma.
Chris and Emma closed both eyes together. The two wanted to meet again in a beautiful dreamland.
