On Tuesday afternoon, Mahira and Edmond returned to the city. They headed straight for Edmond's house. Edmond's parents had already returned to Spain due to the schedule of Edmond's mother's medical check-up.

The mansion looked quiet when they arrived.

"Where's Leon?" ask Mahira.

"Leon has moved into his apartment. He said he wouldn't bother us here."

"Kok moved anyway? We can live together."

"Leon is a bit shy." Edmond took Mahira to a room on the first floor.

"Because you are pregnant, I renovated my room to be bigger and wider. I also changed all the furniture. You likey?"

Mahira was amazed to see the feel of this room which is white in a little light blue.

"I like it."

Edmond hugged Mahira from behind. "I want you to feel like you own this house. The waiters only arrive at 7am and will be home by 5pm. But if you want them here, they'll stay. Only the nurse will look after the oma, she will indeed stay here. What say?"

Mahira just nodded.

"Wake and rest. Let me take all these dirty clothes back. Then we'll prepare dinner together. You like to cook, right?"

"Good." Mahira breaks away Edmond's embrace. She would get used to her role as the wife of Edmond Moreno even though they would be in a long-distance relationship because of Edmond's work.

The next day, Edmond had to return to Borneo. In the morning he prepared himself, he looked uninspired. He even intended to delay his return but his secretary had called him since morning to remind Edmond that he had an important meeting tomorrow morning.

"Aren't you carrying a suitcase?" mahira asked as she walked into the room and saw that Edmond had finished changing his clothes.

"No. Let my clothes be here. I'll try to go home every month." Edmond. He approached Mahira and hugged his wife. "It feels so lazy to leave you."

"I'll be fine."

Edmond knelt down and kissed Mahira's stomach. "Daddy, I'm sorry, honey? Can't accompany your mommy for your first checkup to the doctor. Don't make mommy difficult. Poor mommy herself."

Again Mahira's heart warmed to see Edmond's attention for her.

After kissing Mahira several times, Edmond stood up. "Give me your account number."

"For what?" .

"Of course to fulfill my responsibility to you. Now you're my wife, so all your needs should be for me. You will also take care of this house. The servants' salaries, electricity and water were all paid directly by my parents."

Mahira gave his account number to Edmond and not until 2 minutes, there was already an SMS banking notification about the balance that entered his account. Mahira's eyes immediately widened to see the amount of balance Edmond sent for him. Two hundred million? Is it not wrong?

Edmond took his wallet and cell phone. "I'm going to the airport now. I'll be late." said Edmond.

"Yes. I already have a SIM." Mahira remembers, it was Teddy who taught her to drive. Teddy also encouraged her to have a SIM.

"Then you can use the car in the garage. There are two cars there. Go !" Edmond immediately pulled Mahira's hand and walked out of the room.

The two went to the airport together.

The new princess will talk but stops seeing Mahira's phone ringing. Turns out it was a call from the nurse who was guarding Oma. Name's Afika.

"We're on our way to the hospital. Good thing Mr. Frans is home."

By the time they arrived at the hospital, Afika, Frans, Aunt Wulan, Merry and Maya were already there.

Shortly after, Dr. Vera came out. He is a cardiologist who has been handling the oma Yohana.

"Oma Yohana wants to meet Mahira." Doctor Vera said.

Mahira went straight into the iccu room. He tried hard to see the state of the oma that has been installed various life support tools in his body.

"Mom....!" Mahira holds his hand.

"My dear granddaughter...." Oma held Mahira's face. His voice is very weak.

"Oma has to be strong, huh?"

Oma Yohana forced a smile. "Don't cry if oma leaves you. You already have someone to look after you."

"I can't do it without Oma."

"Oma's old, baby. It's time you learned to accept the fact that you have to walk alone without an oma again."

Mahira kisses his oma's hand. He really felt a deep sadness. Oma's eyes look dim even though she looks calm. Mahira really can't afford to lose her eye.

Mahira fell asleep in front of the ICCU room while leaning on the back of an existing waiting chair. Next to him was Frans. Only the two of them remained behind while the others had already gone home. The nurse went to the hospital canteen to buy coffee for Mahira and Frans.

2 Hours ago, Frans had just called Oma to speak. But it can only be 5 minutes as well as Mahira who was not given much time to talk to Oma.

Doctor Vera comes out of the ICCU room. His face looks sad.

"Oma Yohana has just died" the doctor said, making Mahira cry as she hugged Frans. The man in his 50s looked very sad.

The funeral procession of Oma Yohana will be held tomorrow. Mahira looks very hit even he had fainted. The princess repeatedly hugged her best friend and whispered that Mahira should be strong because she was pregnant.

The door to Oma's room opened. Frans came in.
