Don't Get Away From Me

Trying to be patient and not provoked by emotions, that's what Edmond is doing now. Mahira's extremely cold attitude towards her deeply hurt her heart. But Edmond also realized that he had a mistake because he had accused Mahira of doing something with Teddy in the car and forced an intimate relationship which of course not only hurt Mahira's body but also his heart.

A nurse came to bring the porridge to Mahira and asked the woman to finish it.

Mahira refused when she was about to be fed by Edmond. He chose to eat by himself. Mahira wants to be healthy quickly.

While Mahira was eating, Edmond's phone rang.

"Hallo mommy's. Sorry I forgot to call. Mahira is now in a clinic. The hull's a little troubled, mom. But he's improved. Mommy, don't worry, okay? Tomorrow we'll be home soon. Vienna is here too. He doesn't want to go home. Ok, mom. I'll give my regards to Mahira. Mommy just sleeps, huh? Don't think too much. Ok. Yea...."

"Have you finished eating?" asked Edmond gently. Mahira did not answer. He immediately placed a plate containing porridge that almost finished its contents on the nightstand. He then laid down his body and turned his back to Edmond while pulling a blanket to cover his body to the limit of the neck.

"I'm sorry I hurt you this afternoon. I was blinded by a deep sense of jealousy. I regret following my emotions and accusing you of having an affair with Teddy. I also don't know why this jealousy can be so powerful. All this because I love you too much, Ra." Edmond stood by the bed. Look at Mahira's back. Mahira closed her eyes at Edmond's confession. His tender heart wanted to give up and hug Edmond. But Mahira strengthened her heart. It felt like he was afraid to be with Edmond again even though he loved the man.

The night passed without any response from Mahira. Edmond only took a short nap as he occasionally had to check on Mahira and also keep Edewina asleep on the sofa.

When morning came to say hello, Edewina woke up and immediately spoiled in Edmond's arms.

"But, if mommy's cured, we go to Madrid again huh? Oma will be home in a few days." said Edewina who just finished her milk. Aunt Juminten came to the hospital this morning with breakfast for Vienna and a change of clothes.

"Of course, honey. We wait for my mom to be healthy, right?" edmond said as he stroked the hair of Vienna sitting on his lap.

"Brittle. Vienna likes it when we go together. Not like yesterday there was only mommy and Vienna. Oh yeah, Vienna's classmates cried yesterday. He said the father and mother separated. He lived with his father and was not allowed to see his mother. Vienna was also sad to see him. Vienna doesn't want papi to be separated."

Mahira, who had just come out of the bathroom, immediately felt her heart as if pierced by a sharp object when she heard the words of her son.

"No dear. Papi sama mami will not be separated. Papi promised."

Edmond raised his little finger and Vienna immediately frowned the little finger on Edmond's finger. Mahira became more and more confused. Should he hurt Edewina if he could not stand Edmond's side anymore? Will Edewina understand when she grows up and Mahira tells her why she left Edmond?

"Mommy, are you healthy?" ask Edewina.

"Let's go home! Poor Oma herself at home."

"Wait for my mom's doctor, son? After that we'll go home." Mahira. The infusion hose in his hand had already been opened.

Shortly after, the doctor came in and brought the results of a blood test. Mahira has been allowed to go home while the doctor advised that Mahira should not be too stressed and must rest a lot.

They also returned home. Rachel greeted them with pleasure. He immediately asked Mahira to rest in the room while Edmond immediately took a shower to go to the company. He asked Ifan to pick him up because his body was not too fit to bring his own car.

"Darling, I went to the company first, huh? There's a monthly meeting today. I may have come home a little late" said Edmond when he had finished changing his clothes and Mahira was lying on the bed.

Mahira glanced at Edmond, then turned her face away. He did not respond to what Edmond told him.

"I promise you that I'll stay away from Monalisa. He'll probably be at the meeting today. Please, if you want to get out of the house, wait for me. Don't go out on your own. I'm worried about your safety with Vienna." Edmond went to work immediately. He asked Ifan to immediately find a confidant who would watch over his wife and child. But without Monalisa's knowledge again.

Lerry and Edmond were surprised when Monalisa introduced their partners in the coal company.

"Fucking teddy!" edmond said when he saw Teddy who was smiling sweetly followed by a welcoming applause from other company leaders.

"Didn't I have the full right to invite someone to join us?" ask Monalisa while cleaning the lap top and the file below.

"But this is Teddy!"

Monalisa looked at Edmond. "Why Teddy? Are you afraid that the man from Mahira's past will take her back? Now that I know, your reason for marrying Mahira is not because you raped her but because you wanted her a long time ago. And for the sake of getting Mahira, you finally got rid of me. It's not that easy, Ed."

"Stop threatening me, Ica!"

Monalisa stepped away from Edmond but only a few steps she turned around. "Don't stay away from me! I'm still thinking sane right now! Don't let my brain go crazy anymore. You know what the consequences are. I'm not threatening you. I just want to get back what's mine." Then he opened the door of the meeting room and closed it back hard.

Edmond slapped the table in front of him. Lerry who just came out of the toilet looked at his best friend. "Ed, find a way to escape from Ica. Mahira is the source of your happiness. Don't let Ica separate you."

Edmond nodded. "Whatever happens, I'll keep my wife and son. Ica has even invited Teddy to work with her."

"Teddy's Mahira's ex-boyfriend right?":

"Yes. And he has the intention to take Mahira back."

"Break. Mahira is beautiful and kind. Anyone would want to have a wife like that." Lerry said while hiding his heart. Lerry was so sympathetic to Mahira that he didn't realize that there was a seed of love growing there. That's why Lerry tried to kill all his unnatural feelings so he wouldn't ruin his friendship with Edmond.

Mommy Rahel must return to Madrid to continue her treatment. He looked sad to have to part with Edewina.

"Ed, why don't you take care of Daddy's company? If you've stayed back in Manado, then mommy will come home from Madrid. Mommy will spend your old age taking care of Vienna and your other children." Rachel said as Edmond drove her to the airport.

"I miss moving there. Mommy take it easy, yes, if I've got my confidant, then I can calmly leave Lerry alone. Our company's oil production is the most in-demand in the country even in some neighboring countries. His coal mine is also producing its best production."

Rachel hugged her son as she heard a call to enter the plane.
