THE SECRET OF EDMOND'S LOVE
The Wedding

Edmond came back to Manado on Wednesday night. Earlier, in the afternoon, Edmond had asked one of the hotel maids to pick up Mahira along with his oma. There's already a nurse who'll keep the oma there.

They are now at Moreno's Hotel. One of the seven-star hotels in the city. The hotel belongs to the Edmond family.

Om and his aunt will catch up with them on Friday. And so are his two cousins.

Mahira and Oma were in the same room. One of the best rooms on the 5th floor. Actually Mahira gets his own room but he wants to be with oma.

Edmond is in the pavilium. Special rooms on the 7th floor.

After Mahira and Oma finished dinner in their room, oma immediately went to bed. Leaving Mahira who seemed still confused by what would happen. He contacted Putri but Putri also bekum can come to the hotel because of his leave later on Friday.

The door of the room where Mahira stayed on tap. It was Edmond. He looks handsome with jeans and a white shirt that fits perfectly around Edmond's athletic body.

"Hi.....!" Sapa Edmond then slowly entered.

This room is indeed a separate living room and bed.

"Hi...!" Sapa Mahira is a little stiff. I don't know why his feelings became upset.

"Oma where is it?"

"Oma's asleep."

Edmond looked at his watch. "Have you eaten?"

"It was with Oma."

"It's only been half-eight in the evening. You must have eaten a little. Want to accompany me to dinner? I just arrived half an hour ago."

"alright. I...., change your clothes first?" Mahira is actually lazy to come out. But he did not want to disappoint Edmond. The guy looks tired and hungry.

"Not changing clothes, you look beautiful."

Mahira stopped hearing Edmond's words. He just smiled faintly and immediately headed to the bedroom. Edmond is still like that. Very clever to seduce with his sweet words. Very different from Teddy who rarely said sweet but always shown with action.

Mahira shook her head. He can't think of Teddy anymore even though in reality, he misses Teddy.

Mahira slowly opens the wardrobe. He also wears jeans and a pink shirt. His long hair was left alone. He polished the powder and a little pink lipstick on his thin lips. After that, he went out and met Edmond in the living room.

"A. I'm ready." Mahira's words made Edmond who was standing by the window immediately turn his face away. The handsome face smiled looking at Mahira. "You're beautiful." Then he approached and grabbed Mahira's right hand in his grasp. Mahira was surprised and spontaneously wanted to withdraw his hand but Edmond held back Mahira's hand.

"One of these hotels already knows that we're getting married. I don't want the effect of us being so stiff and not looking like a happy couple getting married." edmond said very close to Mahira's ear made the girl's book stand up because the sensation of Edmond's hot breath touching his ears.

"All right." Mahira. Letting his hand be in Edmond's. Then the two stepped out of the room.

Edmond did not release his grip from Mahira's hands even though they were already in the elevator.

A few pairs of eyes from the hotel maid were immediately fixed on Edmond and Mahira as the two exited the elevator. They even whispered to each other.

Edmond removed his hand from Mahira's hand and his hand was now coiled around Mahira's shoulder. Pulling the girl's body closer to him. Although Mahira looks a bit embarrassed but he does not dare to stay away.

They entered the hotel restaurant and headed to the outside facing the sea. It turned out that Edmond had reserved a special table because once they arrived, the table was already filled with some kind of food and drink.

As soon as they were right beside the round table, Edmond pulled out a chair for Mahira to sit on and he himself took his place right in front of Mahira.

One of the servants came over and asked if there was still anything they needed but Edmond said it was enough. They were both abandoned.

"I called the Princess and asked her if it was your favorite meal. Putri says that you like fried squid with a slightly spicy sour sauce. You are also said to like chicken satay with spicy peanut seasoning as well. I asked the restaurant chef to make it and it turned out they could. Hope you like it?"'

Mahira stared at the menu in front of her which was indeed very appetizing. Although Mahira himself did not feel hungry because his heart and mind was very upset to think about his marriage later.

"What about the nurse? Does oma like it?" edmond asked as the two began to enjoy dinner.

"Yes. The nurse was very friendly and patient. Oma also liked him even though he initially refused because he thought he did not need a nurse."

Edmond just smiled hearing Mahira's words.

'My parents are coming on Friday. Actually I have told papa that come because of the health condition of mama who has not recovered properly. But my mom was determined to come. The only one who can't attend is my second sister."

"Eduardo?"

"You still remember his name?"

"He's my upperclassman in economics."

"Edina? Don't you have a sister?"

"Edewine. He's dead."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"No problem."

"Edina must have grown into a beautiful girl."

"Yes. Edina is so beautiful. Just like you."

Mahira became choked at hearing Edmond's words. He immediately took a glass and drank the contents until it ran out.

Edmond chuckled at Mahira who looked embarrassed. "I'm not seducing you, Ra. I'm telling the truth. Ever since I first saw you at that campus gate, I've fallen for you."

The heart of a woman who will not melt hear the sweet seduction of a handsome man whose presence does attract the attention of all the eyes of women in this restaurant.

But, Mahira did not want to dissolve in the sweet word Edmond. He knew Edmond as one of the playboys on campus. He said many women are heartbroken by it. Edmond always said. That none of them had ever been his girlfriend, but still his image as a Flamboyant campus never said until he continued his S2 abroad.

"Mahira, did you eat it?" edmond asked to get Mahira back from her daydream.

"Eh.yeah." Yeah." Mahira took off the spoon and fork she was still holding.

"We'll take a walk, yuk!"

"Eh me...."

"Don't worry about oma. There's a nurse. We're getting married on Saturday so we need to get to know each other better." Edmond got out of his seat. He approached Mahira's seat, held her chair, and when Mahira stood up, he immediately pulled out his chair. Edmond's romantic nature is certainly very much different from Teddy. Teddy never pulls a chair when they eat together. Teddy also rarely opens the car door when Mahira will get out of the car.

They walk down the beach at night. Edmond's hand held Mahira's. Both stop at one part of the beach that has a concrete bench.

"You cold?" edmond asked Mahira.

"Little." Mahira answered while hugging herself. Edmond wrapped his hand around Mahira's shoulder, pulling the girl closer to him, in order to transfer his body heat to Mahira. Spontaneous Mahira would pull himself up but Edmond shook his head. "Is it wrong for a husband to hug his wife? I'm not doing anything that goes beyond the limit."

Mahira silence. He was confused how to behave. Honestly, his heart was like it stopped beating receiving a sweet and romantic treatment from Edmond.

"Ed, can I ask you something?"

"Can."

"Was....., was there another girl in your life before the Princess called you that day? I'm afraid that our marriage will hurt another woman. You can't have a boyfriend?"

Edmond chuckles. "Do you still believe I'm a playboy?"

"That's the impression I get of you." honestly Mahira.

Edmond released his hand that was coiled around Mahira's shoulder. The two now face each other. Under the moonlight, Edmond stared at Mahira's brown bead.

"Before I knew you, I had a boyfriend. But after knowing you, none of those girls became my girlfriends."

"But when you study abroad..."

Edmond's hand was raised and touched Mahira's face. "Never talk about the past. Like I'll never bring up your past. We will both step forward in the future. No one's hurt by this marriage because I've never built a commitment with another woman." Edmond kissed Mahira's forehead and immediately pulled the girl in his arms.

"I know it's not easy for you to forget Teddy. 4 years is not a short time to be forgotten. But I promise, Ra. I'll make you forget her."

Mahira did not return Edmond's embrace. He just closed his eyes. Trying to believe that his decision to be with Edmond wasn't the wrong one.

The prewedding photo session was held the next day. Everything went well and Edmond seemed satisfied with the result. The man looked so enthusiastic and impatiently waiting for their wedding day. While Mahira is still overwhelmed with turmoil. His heart kept asking. Is that how Teddy forgot?
