"Who are you going to Kalimantan?"

Edmond nodded. He held Mahira's cheek. "Yes, honey. When we got married, I couldn't ask you to come with me because there was an oma. Now that oma is dead, there's nothing else that makes you have to stay here."

"But my job? I wanted to work in a bank. And I got that job. Should I stop?" Mahira felt hard to leave her job.

The next day, Mahira said goodbye to Frans' family. After that, Mahira went to the tomb of Oma Yohana.

On Monday, Mahira said goodbye to her friends at the bank. Everyone seems sad if Mahira has to resign. Especially Princess. He does not stop crying.

Mahira smiles. "I am still in Indonesia. Only in East Kalimantan too. Sometimes you can go there or I'll come here."

During the journey from Manado to Samarinda, Edmond showed great concern for Mahira. He even happily told the flight attendant that his wife was pregnant. Mahira felt very privileged and dear.

"Ed, why are we staying at a hotel? Don't you have a place to live here?" mahira asked as they arrived at one of the hotels.

"Darling, my place of work is far from here. We'll be in the car in 2 hours. I don't want you to be too tired. After all, at the location of the company, the place was quiet. I live in a mess. The place is not too big and has 2 rooms. Because you're pregnant, so I'm gonna find a house to contract with in this town."

"So every day you will travel for 4 hours to go home and go?" ask Mahira.

Edmond smiled. He knelt before Mahira and held his wife's hands together. "Whatever I'll do for you."

"So if you go to work, I'm alone in the hotel?"

"For a while, baby. If I get the house, of course I will provide people to accompany you."

"Why don't we just stay in your mess?"

The woman smiled. "My name is Alika. I am an employee at this hotel. Mr. Moreno asked me to take the madam for a walk around Samarinda today."

"You're the driver at this hotel?" mahira asked a little surprised because usually the driver of the hotel is a man.

"I actually opened the hotel driver. But because Mr. Moreno wanted the driver to be a woman, the hotel manager appointed me to accompany the lady. I happen to have a SIM." Alika said with a friendly smile.

Basic possessive! The driver must be female. Ah, Edmond, are you so scared that there's a man coming at me? Inner Mahira while shaking her head.

"alright. In half an hour we'll be gone." Mahira then immediately left the restaurant to change clothes.

Alika turned out to be a very fun person. Mahira felt comfortable while walking with him. He took Mahira around Samarinda. And what makes Mahira happy most is that Alika was from the Dayak tribe as well.

"My father is also from Borneo. It's the Dayak tribe. My clan Hamarung. I met my mom on the plane. At that time papa had a duty to Manado and mama was a flight attendant. "Yes. Our hotel was opened only 2 years ago but became one of the most booked hotels by visitors."

"I'm glad this hotel could be a success." Mahira is actually curious to ask again about Monalisa but he does not want Akira to be suspicious. That is why he chose to switch the subject. Whatever Monica has Edmond's ex-girlfriend, what and how their relationship is, Mahira should not disturb him like Edmond who does not disturb his past.

Edmond arrived at the hotel at night. Mahira was vomiting in the bathroom as soon as Edmond walked in.

"Darling....., are you vomiting? I'm in, right?" edmond said as he knocked on the bathroom door. Because there was no word from Mahira, he opened the door. At her sight Mahira was kneeling beside the toilet with a cold sweaty face.

"Come, Ed. I was vomiting. It's disgusting." Mahira said and then took out his stomach.

Edmond ignored Mahira's words. He approached and squatted behind his wife. Slowly he rubbed the nape of Mahira.

"You feeling good?" edmond asked when he saw Mahira was no longer vomiting.

"It's kind of better. I'm gonna lay down for a second." Mahira stood assisted by Edmond. Both of them came out of the bathroom.

Edmond helped Mahira lie down. After that he took a blanket to cover Mahira's body. "Darling, I'm sorry?"

"Sorry for what?"

"For two months in Manado, you were tormented by having to endure all of this from the start. I should have brought you here sooner."

"It's been somewhat reduced vomit. Today I enjoy breakfast and lunch without any nausea. Thank you, you've sent a driver to accompany me for a walk."

"So you're not bored. The driver's good, right?'

"Why should it be a girl?"

Edmond chuckles. "As I told you, that I'm too possessive. You're gorgeous. I don't want another man close to you." Edmond stroked Mahira's face. "You're only mine."

Mahira's face became blushing. "I'm sleepy." He pretended to close his eyes.

"I take a shower, okay? In an hour we'll have dinner together." Edmond kissed Mahira's cheek and headed straight to the bathroom.

Upon hearing the door of the room close, Mahira opened her eyes. His curiosity about Monalisa made his heart want to know who the girl was.

Mahira's eyes were fixed on Edmond's cell phone he had left on the nightstand. Mahira took the phone. He slowly opened it and it turned out to use a password. Mahira tried Edmond's date of birth. Turns out wrong, then he casually typed his birthday date. Mahira almost jumped because of the shock that the password of the phone was her date of birth. He's looking for Monalisa's name in the contact list. Mahira opened a photo gallery that was mostly a photo of the two of them. There are no suspicious photos. Finally Mahira put the phone back and laid her body back. Ah, I won't find out about that girl named Monalisa anymore. Edmond may have thrown away everything related to Monalisa.
