THE SECRET OF EDMOND'S LOVE
Edmond's Action

"Don't tell mommy, Ra. Mommy's gonna be scared." Edmond said before they got out of the car.

"Yes, Ed."

When they entered, the house looked empty. It turns out that Eduardo, Rachel's mommy and Edewina are going to the park. Mahira went into the room. This incident really scared her.

"Darling, I'll be out for a second, okay?" edmond said after putting all the groceries in the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" ask Mahira.

"You're meeting with the authorities. They wanted to ask for information, but since you were so scared there, so I brought you home first."

"Don't go!" Mahira held Edmond's hand. "You yourself are not so healthy. Let the cops come here!"

Edmond sat down next to Mahira. "Darling, I promise you when you're done it'll be straight here."

"I'm scared myself, Ed." Mahira immediately hugged Edmond's arm making Edmond happy. Mahira hasn't talked to him for a long time.

"alright. I'm not leaving now. Just wait for mommy and Eduardo to come back from the park so you have friends." Edmond kissed the top of Mahira's head and carried his wife into his arms. There is a sense of happiness to be able to hold Mahira this close.

Edmond took the water and dripped a little sleeping pills without Mahira's knowledge. He asked his wife to drink the water she was carrying.

"Remember Ica, you don't want to marry me officially. Our marriage is not a real marriage. It was just a stupid photograph and celebration. So, you're not my wife. Mahira is my real wife."

Monalisa slapped Edmond hard. "Is that so? After you get the child you want, now you want to dump me? Remember Edmond, I could have told my ex-husband's family about the cause of his death..And you know, they're not gonna kill you yet. But they will destroy your family one by one new finally they will kill you. I'll make sure they rape Mahira, your sister Edina and maybe little Edewina in front of your own eyes."

"Enough, Ica! Stop threatening my family. They have nothing to do with all the stupidity I've done with you."

Monalisa smiling. "I want to know how mommy Rachel reacted when she found out that her son was one of the mafia of illegal arms dealers and also drugs. I wonder how your wife's pretentious response would be to know that your hands are bathed in blood in order to smooth over all that trade."

"I've been a long time.stop, Ica."

"Oh yeah? I have all the evidence of your crimes, Edmond Moreno. If you dare to get me out of your life, then I will destroy everything you love. And you know that I never mess around." Monalisa said with. full of threats.

"Monalize.....!" Edmond pushed Monalisa's body against the wall while his hand choked the woman's neck. "I'll kill you!"

Monalisa was shocked because Edmond dared to strangle her. "Le.. pask.....!" Monalisa became panicked as she was almost out of breath.

"Don't bother my family!" Edmond removed his hand from Monalisa's neck.

"Salter Mahira!" Monalisa coughed but was still able to convey her plea.

"I can't."

Monalisa looked at Edmond. "Then, be prepared to lose them one by one. I know that your heart is tied to Mahira, Ed. I just found out from Teddy that you loved Mahira a long time ago. I'll make that woman leave you. And you'll definitely come back to me at the end of our story."

Since dinner, Mahira can feel that there is something different with Edmond. He even ate a little. After eating, he locked himself in his study.

"Why not sleep?" ask Edmond.

"I'm not sleepy yet. I slept in the afternoon for almost 3 hours. Why haven't you come in? Outside the air is cold. Not good for your health. You just got healed."

There was a smile on Edmond's face. Mahira's attention is what always makes it can not be far from Mahira.

"Let's go in!" Edmond grabbed Mahira's hand, linking their fingers. Mahira did not let go. The two stepped together towards their room.

Mahira could smell the cigarette smell from Edmond's body. He knew that it must have been some sticks that Edmond spent before Mahira came to see him.

Arriving in the room, Edmond undid the shirt and jeans he was wearing and only used a boxer, he headed to the bathroom. Edmond hasn't had a shower. And Mahira was worried because it was past midnight.

Edmond was there shortly. He came out with a towel and then immediately went into the walk in closet and came out using home pants and a tee shirt.

"Let's sleep. It's late!" take Edmond and turn off the main light and immediately go up to the bed. Mahira who had been sitting on the edge of the bed was slowly shifting her body. His back touched the head of the bed and his eyes looked at Edmond's sleeping back. Mahira could not lie to her heart. He had a great love for Edmond although he often suffered deep wounds in all the secrets Edmond began to know.

"You got a problem, Ed?" mahira asked without being able to resist any more curiosity in him.

Edmond turned his body. The reading lamp has not turned off Mahira so that his wife's face is clearly visible.

"I'm fine." Edmond smiled and touched Mahira's hand.

"You're not okay, Ed. I feel like you seem depressed with a lot of trouble. I even just found out you smoke. I'm sure you smoke because your heart is upset, right?"

"What other secrets are you hiding from me, Ed?"

Edmond hugged Mahira. His tears broke as he held his wife. Should he tell her now? Will he lose Mahira when his past is exposed?
