There was a laughter of happiness on Rachel's face as she was able to hug her grandson again.

"Duh, she's more plump and beautiful. Mommy already misses this moment so much."

"Is mommy's treatment over?" edmond asked, worried.

"No, Ed. But the doctor gave the medicine to mommy to drink. So mommy will be here until Edewina's first birthday."

"Where's Daddy going?"

"Your Daddy went straight to Manado. Mommy doesn't want to come with Daddy, so mommy comes alone. Surely your Daddy will be long in Manado."

"Tonight Edewina slept with Oma, huh?" rahel said as he stroked her grandson's cheek.

Edmond was watching TV when Mahira came in.

"Edmond, I want to talk."

"Why?"

Edmond smiled faintly. "For you to know that I want to improve the state of our household which has been cold since returning from Jakarta."

There was no sound coming from Mahira's lips. He just nodded and kept thinking.

"I don't want you to be cold to me. Even when we sleep and I try to hold you, you just stay away. My heart hurts, Ra. Maybe by resigning from the company, you'll trust me again because I won't finally see Monalisa again."

"I. Doesn't that company mean a lot to you?"

Edmond looked at Mahira with a wounded look. "Yes. But for the sake of our household, I'm ready to go."

"Ed, Lerry is sad if you stop. He said he wouldn't be able to run the company without you by his side."

"So this is all because of Lerry's wishes?"

"Also my wish."

"I don't want you to keep suspicious of me, Ra. I want you to believe me."

"I'll try, Ed."

Edmond stood up from his seat. He stepped towards Mahira's seat. He then knelt before his wife. He took Mahira's hands and held them tightly.

"Trust me, Ra. Don't be cold to me. I can't if you don't ignore me. I'm used to your love, care and affection."

Mahira hugged Edmond. Heart's out. He'll learn to trust Edmond.

"Thank you, baby. Thank you for opening my heart to me again." Edmond kissed his wife's lips.

Mahira nodded. She accepted her husband's kiss with the same love.

For the sake of Rachel's mother, Mahira also agreed that Edewina's first birthday was carried out in Madrid.

Mahira was finally able to meet with Eduardo and Edina. Both of Edmond's sisters were very happy to meet Mahira and Edewina.

And it seemed like the atmosphere of this room was the same room as the room where Mahira and Edewina were.

And another photo that makes Mahira feel his heart beating very fast, is a photo of Edmond Monalisa standing in front of a church. Edmond wears a black suit and Monalisa holds a flower hand. They are like a couple. Monalisa's white mermaid shirt. Her hair was also curled up and used a small crown. There are some pictures in the same dress. Mahira immediately became weak. Did Edmond and Monalisa ever get married?

The door to the room is open. Edmond, who was leaving Mahira, was with his cousin enjoying a drink in the corner of the park, entered while rolling his shirt hands.

"Vienna....!" call Edmond.

"Battle....!" said Vienna with a laugh.

Edmond hugged Vienna but still had time to see the photo held by Mahira. "Vienna is called Oma. Honey, I'll drive Vienna first. I'll be back." Edmond took Vienna to his parents' room.

"Mommy, why are the pictures of me and Monalisa still in my room? Mahira found the photo, mom."

"Explain the truth."

"I'm afraid Mahira won't take it, mom."

"Honestly that's a lot better, Ed. Than having to keep a lie. Monalisa is just your past. Or are you bound to him because of that deal?" rahel asked sharply.

"I'll go to the room first, mom."

At the door Edmond turned. "What's up, mom?"

"Mommy loves Mahira."

Edmond just nodded. He rushed to his room. He saw that Mahira was already sitting on the edge of the bed holding some photos.

"Ed, did you and Monalisa ever get married?"

Edmond took a deep breath. "Yes. But not a real marriage."

"What do you mean?"

"We made promises in church, but no pastor blessed us. Monalisa never believed in marriage because the two were divorced. But at that time he wanted me to make an appointment with him so we also used a wedding dress and took pictures like that."

"Then the photo in this room? Then your parents know that your relationship is deep?"

"Yes. But you know for yourself that Monalisa betrayed me. That's why our relationship ended."
