Ch 12 - Mysterious Woman
Everyone who heard Aron's description, looked very happy and hurried out of the room where they were locked up.
“Thank you Swordsman. Forgive me for
my previous attitude,” said Mr. Ligo politely.
“Hemm, alright, because I have
take out those criminals and you can take back this boat. Then I want you to do something for me!” aron said in a rather cold tone.
“Good swordsman. Whatever your request will be fulfilled while I can fulfill it,” said Mr. Ligo who looked nervous.
“Ah, you need not hesitate! I just wanted information about the woman,” whispered Aron near Mr. Ligo's ear while poking his lips towards the mysterious woman who still had not moved from her seat.
Mr. Ligo later recounted that he was from a town called Lombongia. The city located in the western region of the earth has a very abundant natural resources. In addition to having a very beautiful view, the City of Lombongia also has a lake called Lake Langgia. Namely, a lake that was considered the most extensive on the entire surface of the earth at that time.
When an unusual rain flushed the earth a dozen full moons ago, the inhabitants of the city of Lombongia initially felt nothing strange. But after three full moons passed, the water of Lake Langgia began to overflow and flood thousands of people's homes living on the lake shore.
The city lord did not care about what the citizens experienced. They did not even care about the rain that fell without that pause. They felt very safe, because the position of the palace was located on top of the hills.
Mr. Ligo, who happens to be a wealthy merchant who owns a boat, is then approached by a mysterious woman. The mysterious woman then gave him a warning. The mysterious woman said that the city of Lombongia will turn into an ocean. No exception to the hills. The woman also requested that all the existing boats be used to load the residents and as much supplies as can be transported by the boat.
Ligo and the other boat merchant immediately carry out the request of the mysterious woman. They had to do it because they had no other choice.
“Decars, we are still alive to this day is thanks to that woman,” said Mr. Ligo closed his story.
Aron could only frown when he heard Mr. Ligo's story. He was increasingly curious about the mysterious woman who still had not moved from her seat.
“Mr Ligo, we can't pull over any closer. The water is pretty shallow. How about we use a lifeboat to dock?” said one of the crew members who was in charge of monitoring the boat.
“Alright.. You guys drop anchor and lifeboat!” exclaim Mr. Ligo.
After going through a long process, all the passengers of the ship that has been more than a year floating in the ocean, can finally set foot on the ground.
“Mr Ligo, how about we build a village in this place? Looks like this place is perfect for starting civilization.” cetus one of Mr. Ligo's men.
“You were right too. Then let's ask the mysterious lady's opinion first! Anyhow, we are all still alive to this day is thanks to him,” replied Mr. Ligo.
Mr. Ligo then stepped over to the mysterious woman.
“Nona, I have plans about this place!” said Mr. Ligo. He then told her of his plans to build a village in that place. He also requested that the mysterious woman be the leader in the village they want to build.
“Mr Ligo, I don't deserve to be your leader!” the mysterious woman refused.
“Nona, thanks to you we are still alive now. So there is no one more deserving to lead us than you" Mr. Ligo said expectantly.
“True once Miss ... You really deserve to be their leader!” aron said with a sweet smile.
A few moments the mood became quiet. The mysterious woman then conveyed her willingness.
“I'm willing .. but I have a condition!” said the mysterious woman in a flat tone.
“What are the terms, Miss?” asked Mr. Ligo. The face became a little moody. He thought that the conditions that the mysterious woman would propose were things that they could not meet.
“The terms are very easy .. .” said the mysterious woman while turning her eyes towards Aron.
“I want you to stay here too! Surely to help us build the village!” reveal the woman again.
Aron frowned. He really did not expect to be involved in affairs that he should not be involved in.
“Waduh.. how is this? I do, have a mission from Waterfall Village!” thought Aron was in a dilemma.
Aron then decided, there was no harm in helping them, maybe by helping them build a village, then he would also have a way to help Waterfall Village.
“All right I'm ready!” aron broke the silence.
“But I also have terms!” Aron threw a smile at the mysterious woman. He thought, this is his chance to dig information about the woman who had made him curious.
Seeing that Mr. Ligo was about to ask a question, Aron then said, “This has nothing to do with you Mr. Ligo. I'm sure this Miss is capable of fulfilling the conditions I proposed.”
Aron's remarks made Mr. Ligo relieved and worried about the woman who had helped him.
“Mr Ligo, please leave us both!” said Aron in a flat tone.
Upon hearing Aron's request, Mr. Ligo then rushes to leave Aron and the mysterious woman both.
Seeing that Lord Ligo had gotten far enough away, Aron then walked over. He was shocked, his heart suddenly racing when the distance between himself and the woman in front of him was so close.
“Ah, this feeling, is it true she is Dewi Rara?” whispered Aron in his heart.
“Nona, I don't know why when I'm around you I feel the same feeling when I'm around someone I've met before,” said Aron while imagining the seconds of his meeting with Dewi Rara that was so short.
Seeing the mysterious woman only silent a thousand languages, Aron then changed the topic related to the conditions he would submit.
“Alright, the condition that I want to submit is, I wind up knowing about your true identity. Please tell me the truth or I won't help you" Aron said in a stern tone.
“Decider, before I show you my true identity. I want to ask you first about someone you said earlier,” said the mysterious woman who was still reluctant to show her identity.
Aron only frowned at the statement of the woman before him. He became curious as to why the mysterious woman became interested in her past.
