THE SKY SWORDSMAN

THE SKY SWORDSMAN
Ch 24 - Introduction

“How is this? What am I supposed to do?” On the other hand, Noguchi was eager to help Firon, but on the other hand he was frightened, only this time he found a person who was able to talk through his head.

Seeing no sign of Noguchi turning around, Firon stopped his efforts and could only be speechless thinking about the ability he had just unleashed.

“How can I communicate with others just by speaking in heart?”

Firon later recalled his grandfather's words, that he would most likely have all the abilities his father, mother and grandfather had.

“Could this be one of the abilities inherited by them?” Firon could only speculate because before, his grandfather had never touched on the matter.

Long night passed by Firon just by looking at the walls of the cave illuminated with the bias of moonlight that is getting dimmer.

The moonlight has now been replaced by the morning sun. The room in the cave became bright because of the light that penetrated into the deepest part of the cave.

The sound of nightingales rang out to deafen Firon's ears. He still lay helpless. Unless his head is able to move to the right and to the left, the rest of his body is still completely unable to move.

After a whole night he went through by practicing controlling his hearing, now he has been able to handle it even though it is not perfect right.

The sharpness of hearing that he now has really made it troublesome, because he had to choose which sound he wanted to hear.

Of the many voices he heard that morning, the voice of the person having the conversation became his concern. Even though the person who was having the conversation was about a mile away from him, he was actually able to hear it clearly.

“Where were you last night? Why are you late huh?” Jerk Mr. Yorinaga.

“Sorry sir, last night the fish in the lake refused to eat bait. Lucky I moved the place, otherwise I might not get fish!” Noguchi tried to lie to his employer. He didn't want his boss to know what he was really doing.

“Ah, I don't want to know that! If next time you still are, then I will hang you on the cryptomeria tree!” Mr. Yorinaga was really angry because it had been four nights Noguchi continuously late to go home.

“Now, you go find firewood and don't forget you brought the game home for my lunch!” Shouted Lord Yorinaga giving orders.

“Good tuan” Noguchi bowed lethargic. He did not have the courage to dispute Lord Yorinaga's orders.

Firon who heard the conversation of the men and the employer could only frown. He only found out that people who had helped him were treated arbitrarily by his employer.

The sound of footsteps in Firon's ears grew longer and closer to the cave where he lay. He hoped that the person who had previously feared him, this time had the courage to approach him.

Noguchi, who was just a few steps away from the mouth of the cave, stopped his steps.

‘What if that person turns out not to be a human’ Doubt comes back to cover Noguchi's mind.

Some old Noguchi just stood glued in front of the mouth of the cave. He wrestles between his helpful conscience and his fear of telling him to stay away from the place.

Finally Noguchi stepped into the cave and immediately approached Firon. His heart skipped a beat, the road was very slow.

“Brother, may I not regret my actions for helping you! I don't know who you are, but somehow, my heart seems to push me to help you!” Saying soft Noguchi.

Now Noguchi was no longer surprised to hear the voice speaking in his head.

“Oyah, why do you have to talk through my head? Why not just talk by mouth?” Although Noguchi's question sounded like one was upset, he spewed it out very carefully.

‘Either why, my tongue became moody and I was completely unable to make a sound. I wasn't like this before. Oyah, let's just say I'm mute!’ Answer Firon.

After a while Noguchi no longer asked questions, it was now Firon's turn to ask questions.

‘Daddy brother, how long have I fainted?’

Noguchi later recounted that after he witnessed a burst of light in the middle of the lake. He then finds Firon unconscious in a cube-shaped light.

Noguchi also recounted that every night he examined the cube of light, until the fourth night, the cube disappeared and it just so happened that he was there who happened to be checking the cube of light like the previous nights.

“lucky I was there when the cube of light disappeared and I saw you drowning at the bottom of the lake. So I'm taking you to this place!” Noguchi closed the story.

‘One more time thank you! Oyah, introduce my name as Firon. I come from the village across the lake’

“Sama-sama. Oyah my name is Noguchi, I live not too far from here” said Noguchi reintroduced himself.

‘Dad brother Noguchi, you don't have to worry about me, looks like we're the same age’

“All right brother Firon. Oh, I brought you food. I know you still can't move, so I beg for permission to bribe you” Noguchi said, looking a little shy.

‘Alright Brother Nogu, thank you’

Noguchi then fed Firon very carefully. They both look like people who have known each other for a long time.

It had been a week since Firon woke up from his stupor, and during that time Noguchi had to treat Firon like his foster son. The bond that had just been established between the two of them was truly a bond based on sincerity. It was evident from Noguchi's willingness to take care of Firon without complaint and Firon

very comfortable to be treated like a toddler by Noguchi.

One night, Firon, who was lying alone in the cave training his hearing, found the sound of a snake hissing while creeping into the cave.

Firon became panicked to realize that the huge snake was getting closer and would soon prey on him. He tried his hardest to get up, but his efforts were in vain because his body was completely unable to move.

The snake that was as big as an adult calf continued to approach Firon as it hissed and stuck out its tongue. But when the big Snake was about to peck at Firon's head, suddenly the big snake stopped and pecked for a moment before finally falling lifeless.

Firon. He doesn't understand what's really going on.

‘Ahhh’ Firon groaned in pain A moment after the snake fell lifeless.Hur eyes suddenly felt a sting as if it was burning by fire. His body shook with the pain.
