Ch 16 - General Lee's Cunning Plan
In a tent belonging to the imperial army that was larger than the other tents, General Lee and General Moo looked very serious about something. In front of the two was a bottle of drink and two small cups on top of a sizable stone that they used as a table .
Both of them looked very engrossed in enjoying the wine in front of them. Hiccups for gulps just flowed down General Lee's neck. After drinking a few cups, he then squeezed the cup he held using deep energy to become fine fragments. He looks angry at something.
“General Moo, I have a plan against them. I want you to really help me so that this plan can go smoothly!” Said General Lee while looking at General Moo with a sharp look. He whispered something in General Moo's ear.
General Moo who heard General Lee's whisper in his ear revealed a surprised face. He really did not think that General Lee could get rid of his own family in order to achieve his wishes.
Meanwhile in Turtle City, Aron and Dewi Rara were sitting alone in the room while showing serious faces. They were talking about General Lee and Chairman Jo.
“Darling, I'm sorry. But I think General Lee is very dangerous. I saw something he was planning!” Dewi Rara tried to express what she felt.
“Darling, you don't have to worry about Lee. Although he is now a general, but he does not dare to challenge me!” Aron said while holding his wife's cheeks while looking into his wife's eyes with love.
“What I'm worried about is dad. I was afraid, he would force me to return to Waterfall Village” said Aron who then turned his eyes and stared blankly at the door of his room.
Dewi Rara understood her husband's intentions. She also thought of ways to get her husband out of the situation.
“Dad will be here for a few days. Mr. Ligo's ship will not be sailing in the ocean anytime soon. Mr. Ligo said the ship would be repaired for a few weeks. That means, we still have a chance to think of a way out of this problem!” Dewi Rara hopes her husband is happy to listen to what she has to say.
“Thank you dear, I'm a little relieved now. I hope we can find a way for Dad to let me stay in this town with you. I don't want to part with you. I want to always be by your side!” Aron hugged his wife. He hugged his wife tightly to the point that her embrace made
Goddess Rara becomes difficult to breathe.
“Sayang.. Let go of me, I'm having a hard time breathing!” Said Dewi Rara a little Ngos-ngosan because it was almost out of breath.
Spontaneously Aron let go of his embrace.
“Sorry dear, I am too excited. hehehe” Aron said with a stupid smile towards his wife.
Aron then held back his wife's cheeks and looked back at Dewi Rara's eyes with love. “Honey, you know, there's nothing in this world that's more important to me than you”.
Tears flowed slowly on Dewi Rara's cheeks. She was really moved by being treated that way by her husband. He really felt lucky there was Aron who was always loyal to be beside him. In the eyes of Dewi Rara, Aron is a very special man. As he becomes a disgrace in the Kingdom of Heaven and chooses to become a mortal on earth, Aron accepts himself as he is. Though Aron is a very handsome man and also has a silat science that is quite high.
“Thank you dear, I am really lucky to have you and I promise I will always be with you for life. Wherever you go, I will always be with you!” Gentle speech of Dewi Rara.
Aron, hearing his wife's words, wiped away the tears on his cheek and hugged her. This time, his embrace was no longer as tight as it had been, yet extremely gentle and warm.
Aron then kissed his wife's forehead and then fondled her. The two then drown in a sea of romance.they spend the night making out as if that night was the last night they could do it.
In the past few days, Aron and Dewi Rara invited Chairman Jo to tour Turtle City. They took Chairman Jo to important places in Turtle City.
Aron and Dewi Rara also invite Chairman Jo to eat at a place that is famous for its delicious food. The three of them then entered the restaurant that looked extremely luxurious. Tables and chairs were neatly arranged in the restaurant.
Some time after they had ordered some of the food on the menu shown by the waiter, the food finally came and was served at the table right in front of them.
When the three were about to eat the food that had been presented before the eyes, Aron and Dewi Rara then
visited by one of his men in charge of guarding and managing the city hall building.
“What's up, why are you here?!” Ask Dewi Rara to her men.
“Mrs, Sir. Sorry I have to deliver this to you soon!” Said the City Hall Manager.
“General Moo who came the other day, now comes again and carries a scroll containing an invitation from Emperor Liong!” Say it again
Aron looks confused to hear the news conveyed by his men.
“Then you guys go home first!?” Said Chairman Jo looking at Aron and Dewi Rara who looked confused.
“Sorry Chairman Jo. You also have the same invitation!” Said the City Hall Manager again.
Aron and Dewi Rara became increasingly confused to hear the narration of his men.they did not understand, why his father who had only arrived in Turtle City a few days also received the same invitation from Emperor Liong.
Chairman Jo then held the tip of his chin and frowned thinking. “What's behind all this?” Mumbled.
“Alright, let's go home first. Next time we go back to this place!” Said Chairman Jo as he stood up and stepped out leaving behind a dish that he had not had time to taste.
Seeing Chairman Jo step out, Aron and Dewi Rara then stood up and stepped away from the luxurious restaurant.
On the way back to the City Hall building, there was no conversation between the three of them. Each one is dissolved in his thinking. No one could understand what the intentions of the invitations coming from the empire meant for them.
Arriving at the City Hall building, the three headed straight for the room where General Moo was waiting for them.
“Sorry to have kept you waiting a long time!” Greet Goddess Rara while paying respects to General Moo.
General Moo then stood up from where he sat and without replying to the greeting of Dewi Rara, he immediately offered two Scrolls to Dewi Rara.
“The other one is for Dangun Jo the head of the Gojo Clan!” General Moo explained.
“Then I say goodbye. I can't stay here long. I was only ordered to make sure Emperor Liong's invitation gets to you!” General Moo looks cynical.
“Oyah.. If you do not want to get into trouble, you must meet Emperor Liong's invitation!” Said General Moo loudly. He then stepped out of the meeting room while chuckling.
Aron, Goddess Rara and Chief Jo who witnessed General Moo's attitude became slightly offended but chose not to look for trouble before they knew what the purpose behind Emperor Liong's invitation was.
