Ch 28 - Noguchi Identity
‘hah, are you really crying?’ Firon laughed without making a laugh looking at his best friend.
“Brother Firon, are you laughing at me?” Noguchi said while crying.
‘Good, I'm sorry. I was deliberately leaning you on a tree because I was worried that if I put you down, there would be a wild beast attacking you’ Firon tried to calm his best friend. He offered the burning elk he brought to Noguchi.
‘So there's a nice guy who gives you this, you eat it! You sure are hungry?!’
Firon then stepped his back to Noguchi who had just taken the grilled fish from his hand. He did not want to disturb his friend who was still sobbing while holding a fish.
“Brother Firon, how about you?” Ask Noguchi.
‘That's for you! I've eaten. I'll go for a minute!’ Firon raised his right hand without looking. He then continued his steps which had stopped due to Noguchi's question just now.
‘He's still there! Who's that guy’ Firon murmuring. He is curious about Ryusa. He wants to see Ryusa again. But he doubted, he did not know where his beliefs came from, but he was absolutely certain that Ryusa had a certain purpose.
From a distance of over a mile, Firon continuously watched Ryusa who was still sitting still doing nothing.
Firon gasped in shock as Ryusa suddenly looked towards him.
‘Don't he get to see me?’ Firon briefly averted his eyes before he looked back at Ryusa from afar.
Ryusa then got up and grabbed the dried wood twigs that were nearby. He then began to write something on the ground.
“Down when this message reaches its destination!” ryusa whisper. He then stepped out of the place.
‘What did he do? Looks like he said something earlier, but why can't I hear what he said?’ Firon was confused and curious.
“Firon! Where are you?”
Firon's mind broke from hearing Noguchi's voice looking for him.
Firon then darted towards the voice his best friend was calling out.
‘What's brother Nogu?’ Firon's voice was heard in Noguchi's head.
‘I'm here! On the tree in front of you’
Noguchi then looked up at the tree in front of him. He saw Firon smiling broadly at him.
“What are you doing there? Let's leave this place!” Noguchi shouted in annoyance. Firon had already upset Noguchi a few times. First when Firon drags him down using the science of lightening the body that made him faint. Second, when he was placed on a tree branch that made him almost die from falling from a height. And lastly, when Firon left her and made her have to scream in the middle of the forest.
Firon then jumped up and landed right in front of Noguchi.
‘Cute me!’ Exclaim Firon
“Where are we going?” Noguchi pitched ketus.
‘Care, later you will know!’ Firon replied with a smile to his friend who was still face-masked in front of him.
Firon then steps towards where Ryusa gave him the fish. He was really curious, what Ryusa did before leaving the place earlier.
Arriving at the place he was headed, Firon then checked what Ryusa had written above ground level. And sure enough, on the ground there are scratches that say.
“If you want to be able to talk again, then meet me at the mountain pass of Kiso and Koto! Don't forget to bring your friend there is also a big secret that he must know!”
Firon frowned while scratching his non-itchy head.
‘Reacted to be true to my guess!’ Firon looked up at the sky. It was as if he was looking at someone up there.
Noguchi who arrived later at the place immediately approached Firon who looked confused.
“What's up?” Noguchi asked who was aware of the confusion of his best friend.
Firon did not reply, he merely pointed his index finger towards the scratches on the ground that were in front of him.
Noguchi then read the writing in a bit of a stammer. It's not very good at reading. He did not even know why he could read, but as far as his memory, he never learned to read.
The message written on the ground then disappeared immediately after Noguchi read the writing. The surface of the ground was never visible at all. It was as if there was never any writing on it.
“What happened?” Noguchi frowned.
‘There is no other way, we have to meet that person!’ Firon looked serious.
“But brother Firon, aren't you afraid of him? He knows that you can't speak, but no one knows it but me. And one more thing, he also knows something about me, even though I am nobody!” Noguchi expressed his opinion.
‘We have to see him! We need to know the answer! Whatever the risk!’ Excited Firon enthusiastically.
“well, I also want to know, who I really am! I wonder why the swordsman knows something about me!” Noguchi looks no less enthusiastic than Firon. Even though he had no martial arts, yet somehow he felt that there was something inside him that made him unperturbed to face the thing in front of him.
‘How was the previous plan?’ Firon reminds Noguchi of his goal of visiting Nikoto City.
“Regarding that, we delay first! Let's go!” Noguchi was very enthusiastic. He then stepped before Firon.
Firon just stood looking at his friend who had sauntered away leaving him.
‘Hey you, where are you going? Do you know where we're going?’
Firon's voice rang out in Noguchi's head, immediately making Noguchi stop his steps. He then turned his body towards his friend who still did not move from where he stood.
‘Iya yeah? Why am I being such a fool?’ Noguchi muttered inwardly while blushing shyly towards Firon.
Firon smiled broadly at his misbehaving friend. He then took out a package from behind his shirt and took two scrolls from inside the package. He then took a squatting position while spreading out the two maps in his hand.
Just this time Firon looked at the two maps given by his grandfather carefully. There is a huge difference between the two maps.
The newly arrived Noguchi also took a squatting position and watched the two maps closely. He was well aware that the two maps had similarities, but the differences between the two maps were more prominent.
“Where did you get this thing Brother Firon?” Tanya Noguchi was curious.
Firon didn't answer his best friend's questions. He just smiled softly. According to him, it was not yet time for Noguchi to find out who he really was.
