THE SKY SWORDSMAN

THE SKY SWORDSMAN
Ch 17 - Crescent Inn

Goddess Rara pondered so deeply. He has a bad feeling. He felt that something unwanted would happen. He was actually reluctant to fulfill Emperor Liong's invitation, but he did not want to endanger Turtle City and its citizens. He had no choice but to fulfill the invitation.

Dewi Rara who was sitting on the porch of the city hall building turned her gaze towards the people who were making preparations for the journey towards the imperial palace.

Aron who looks to be helping his men make preparations, turned his body and stepped towards Dewi Rara who is still sitting contemplating.

“Darling, what are you thinking. Oya, have you met our son in his dorm?! Aron asked with a smile towards his wife. He deeply understood the anxiety experienced by Dewi Rara.

“Have a baby. Firon is fine. According to his teachers, he was the brightest and most talented student in his class. The silat science that he has also surpassed his seniors at school” Reveal Dewi Rara while smiling proudly.

“Our son inherited his mother's brain and inherited his father's muscle. Looks like he'll be a big guy later in the day!” Said Aron with eyes that sparkled with excitement.

After all the preparations for the journey to the Imperial Palace, Aron Dewi Rara and Chairman Jo then set off accompanied by some bodyguards and some young warriors of the Gojo Clan. They all ride horses. Aron and Dewi Rara both rode a horse carriage, while Chairman Jo was alone in the other horse carriage.

The motorcade drove off without a hitch. In just a few days, they had arrived at a fairly large city. Although Turtle City was much larger than the city they had visited, it looked very crowded.

Meanwhile in a room in an inn, a man dressed in all black, long-haired waist purple and with eyes that resembled snake eyes was conveying something to General Lee.

“General, they have arrived at the city gate” Reveal the Man while looking down and smiling faintly at General Lee.

“Alright, it turns out they arrived sooner than I expected. Then, this is the time, run as we have planned. Don't let it fail. This is our only chance!” General Lee's orders.

When going through the city gate, the group was checked by the gate guard soldiers. After the soldiers learned that the purpose of the party was to fulfill Emperor Liong's invitation, they were finally allowed to enter. One of the gate guard soldiers said that they were asked by General Lee to stop first at an inn in the city center before continuing to travel to the Imperial palace. The soldier also relayed that general Lee was waiting for them.

While crossing the road through the densely populated settlement, the residents who saw the convoy of Aron and his friends were seen looking cynical. The facial expressions they looked were clearly unfriendly.

“What is this. Why are they all acting like that?” Chairman Jo muttered aware of the attitude of the citizens.

“Master, madam, we've reached” Shout one of the bodyguards who are in the frontmost position.

Aron then got out of the train to check. He found a large inn. The inn was twice as big as the biggest inn in Turtle City. Just above the doorstop of the inn it says “Crescent” Inn.

“True, this is the place. Let's go in!” Aron exclaimed as he stepped into the inn in question.

The group then followed Aron from behind. Almost all members of the group were amazed to see the courtyard and the inn building so beautiful.

Unlike the others, Dewi Rara actually had a bad feeling about the inn she had just entered.

“Honey, we have to be careful, my feelings are so bad!” Dewi Rara to her husband.

“Relax dear, we will only meet Lee in this place!” Aron said with a warm smile towards his wife.

The innkeeper then approached and let them in. The innkeeper also informed that Aron, Dewi Rara and Chairman Jo had been awaited by General Lee in the special room. Only the three of them were allowed to enter the room.

When entering the special room where General Lee was waiting, Chairman Jo seemed happy to see a man wearing clothes with the Gojo Clan emblem on his left chest.

A memory of his two children again looms over Chairman Jo's mind. She remembers how Aron and Lee grew up without a mother caring for her. Both of his children grew up through very rigorous training so that Aron became a very strong swordsman at such a young age. Although Lee is not as strong as Aron, but he is also a swordsman who is quite strong and able to surpass some of his seniors.

General Lee was not wearing the uniform he used to wear. He is seen wearing a shirt that shows that he is part of the Gojo Clan.

“Dad, Brother, sister-in-law. Welcome!” Said General Lee who had just risen from his seat saluting and greeting.

Aron, Dewi Rara and Chairman Jo then sit on the chair that has been provided. Chairman Jo who kept looking at Lee then opened the conversation.

“What does all this mean Lee?!” Ask Chairman Jo

“No father, I just want to show that I am still part of the Gojo Clan and will continue to serve the Gojo Clan until anytime!” Said General Lee while showing a serious facial expression.

“Are you willing to invite you to return to Waterfall Village?!” Chairman Jo asked who seemed to still doubt General Lee's words.

“I am willing to leave everything in order to return to the place where I was born and raised!” Jederal Lee tried to convince her father.

“Alright, after my business is done, we will go home to Waterfall Village!” Said Chairman Jo who began to believe the words of Jederal Lee.

Chairman Jo then turned his head towards Aron “How about you?!” Ask Chairman Jo to Aron.

Hearing her father's question, Aron just fell silent and glanced towards Dewi Rara. He was confused as to what to say. He did not want to leave Turtle City but he also did not want to disappoint his father.

“Trial arrived.!” Said a servant from behind the door.

“Please bring in!” Said General Lee.

Aron was still pondering as the incoming dishes were served before him. Mind raging. He was unable to find the words he believed were worth telling his father.
