Ch 22 - Half-God Man
It was night time when Sintoga ended the story of the past he told. The pale moon and a very friendly star in the sky, so low as to listen to the story of the past. The air began to feel cold piercing to the bones.
“In addition to the events at the Dragon Gate, where did grandfather know all this? Wasn't grandfather in the sky when everything happened?” Firon looked at his grandfather meaningfully.
Sintoga just smiled at his grandson's question.
“When I felt Malaga's energy gradually dissipate, I realized that something had happened. Finally I decided to go down to earth to check the situation. Then I found you lying on the ground unconscious” Reveal sintoga.
“Firon, however I am a god with many abilities, I was able to see the past of a human just by touching it! I've touched you to see everything you've experienced in the past! You have your father's vision and your mother's hearing. And maybe even, you also have all or part of my abilities!” Sintoga said with a smile to his grandson.
“Now all you need to do is train and hone that ability so that it will be useful for you and useful for many people!” Syntoga tried to encourage his grandson who still looked lethargic.
Firon fell back down after his grandfather's hand held off his head. He then again asked the question “Terus why tomorrow grandfather will disappear from this world?.”
Sintoga took a long breath. His mind drifted into space. He looked at the shadow of the Half Moon in the middle of the lake. A moment later he raised his head to space while looking at the original form of the Half Moon which was far away hanging from the sky.
“Son, now that you are seventeen years old and ten years old, grandfather has been by your side.for the last ten years, every day before the full night, I had to sneak into the sky to reunite with my body there so that I would not be trapped on earth which would eliminate my body on earth as well as in the sky. But on the last full moon a celestial officer found me sneaking when
going back to earth. He let me go, but he reported me to the Sky King, so the sky court convicted me of breaking the laws of heaven and sentenced me to exile for a thousand years. All my power will be stripped away and the me that is in front of you right now will instantly disappear for good!” Sintoga took a long breath.
“Tomorrow is an execution day for me, so tonight I will transfer all the energy I have to you, so tonight will probably be a pretty long night for you to go through!” Sintoga looked at his granddaughter who was still bowed before him.
“Firon, do you know why I brought you here?”
Question Sintoga instantly managed to make Firon raise his head while saying “I don't know cake!.”
Firon was only able to resign when Sintoga pulled him towards the lake, but when Sintoga began to set foot into the water, Firon can't resist his desire to question his grandfather's actions which he values are crazy deeds “Kek, what are you doing?.”
“You don't have to ask a lot, or you'll drown?” Threaten Sintoga with a smile.
Firon who heard the answer to his grandfather could only sigh deeply and resignedly follow the will of the grandfather.
The resentment in Firon's heart suddenly turned into astonishment when he realized that his grandfather's body and his body were completely untouched by the water. His eyes widened to see the view of the bottom of the lake is so beautiful. Various species of fish can be seen swimming in the water. Coral reefs and various aquatic plants also beautify the underwater scenery of the lake.
After walking down the bottom of the lake, right in the middle of the lake they found a large stone whose upper side was very flat like a giant altar. The big rock is surrounded by coral reefs and underwater plants that move around like a comfort girl who is showing off her genius. They both then
sit on that big rock. Firon sat cross-legged to Sintoga, while Sintoga sat cross-legged to Firon's back.
Both were completely untouched by the lake. A cube of air measuring four meters on each side protected their bodies.
“Firon, with the great power that I will soon give you, you must assume a great responsibility. You must prevent your uncle. Use the Earth Map I once gave you.Three more years, the Red Moon will appear and that's when General Lee will have the chance to open the Dragon Gate!” said Sintoga while looking at Firon's back.
Firon's heart was suddenly enveloped in anger and a sense of vengeance when he heard General Lee's name mentioned.
“After pouring all my strength into your body, I will disappear soon, and you will be asleep for days. This air cube that protects us can only last for three days. Hope you wake up before this air cube disappears!”
Sintoga then tightened his palm onto Firon's back. A whitish blue light flowed from all over his body towards his palm, then flowed into Firon's body.
Firon closed his eyes while enduring the pain he felt in his veins and bones. Sometimes he squirms incoherently. His skin is burning. The light that was once a whitish blue is now turning golden yellow. The process lasted long enough until finally the light was getting brighter.
Firon screamed out loud as he held back the burning sensation he felt. Shouts later
it disappeared as the growing light turned into a light eruption.
The synthoga then melted, disappeared, along with the disappearance of light debris from the light eruption earlier.
Firon lay unconscious. He did not realize that his grandfather had disappeared forever.
