Chapter 44. Papi is critical.

Athalla went straight to see the doctor followed by Mami. Athalla hugged Mami's shoulder.

"How's my Papi doing, Doc?" ask Athalla.

"Sorry, Sir. We have tried however, God willed another. Father's parents have left us all behind, because of the heart attack he had."

The doctor's speech was like the sound of lightning in broad daylight, especially for Mami. His body feels broken. Athalla hugged her mother.
