Chapter 52. Demand of Syafa

Syafa and Athalla are currently in one of the cafes. Shafa asks for Athalla's time. There is something he will talk about and want to say.

Syafa has seen for himself as Athalla chases and talks to Kania. She knows for sure that Kania must be Athalla's lover.

He also has a lover who is currently trying to pioneer his business. Syafa and her lover are also hindered by the parents' blessing, because her mother does not agree with Syafa's lover who only has a workshop business.

"Sorry, Brother. I want to talk to Athalla" Syafa began their conversation.

"Please. Seems serious. Why should it be here? Not just at home!"

Athalla was astonished and startled when Syafa contacted him and asked to chat together. Lucky Anggara postponed their meeting tomorrow. When Athalla asked why it was delayed, however, the phone connection was decided Anggara.

"Sister, I want our engagement annulled!" Syafa spoke slowly but his voice could still be heard by Athalla.

Athalla was shocked to hear Syafa's words. Why did the girl suddenly request the annulment of their engagement? Athalla doesn't know his feelings. Happy for sure, because it has not asked but Syafa has retreated first.

Though Athalla also wanted to ask Syafa to cancel this engagement. Just not so fast. Just yesterday they got engaged and the day has to end. What did her mom say later? The Athalla fears that his Mami is in shock and must leave the world like Papi. If that happens, Athalla will not be able to forgive himself.

"Why did you suddenly ask for an engagement cancellation? Did I offend you or hurt you?" ask Athalla.

"Sir Athalla nothing hurts my heart. However, if we continue this engagement there will be many hearts that are hurt. Not just me, big brother, but there are two more hearts that are hurt!"

Shafa had to say all this. He had to work with Athalla to undo everything.

"What do you mean there are a lot of hearts hurt if our engagement continues? Who do you mean?" athalla asked not to understand what Syafa meant.

Shafa seemed to take a breath and change his sitting position. He looked at Athalla's face carefully. Anyone would be interested to see the handsome face of a man faced at this time. However, not for Syafa because he has had a mooring of heart. Maybe Athalla is too, not interested in him because there has been one name in his heart.

Shafa paused his speech. He recalled how his mother kicked Andi out when the lover came to propose. Syafa's mother said that if Andi never said so love Syafa whose status is much different. Not only Andi who hurt to hear the words of his mother but also himself.

Andi left Syafa's house and from then on wherever the girl went was escorted by a driver. After being betrothed to Athalla and Syafa accepted it, the girl was released back out of control.

"I may know, what caused you to change your mind?" ask Athalla.

"I saw for myself when Sister Athalla and sister's lover were forced to separate because of our engagement. I can see the sadness on her sister's face!"

"Keep what do we have to do to cancel this engagement?" ask Athalla.

"We'd better be honest. Whatever their reaction will be. We can't force this heart anymore. Because if we force it together, we'll both get hurt."

"All right! Who will go first. I'll come to your house or you'll go to my house to see my mom and tell her we can't be together and cancel our engagement."

Shafa took a deep breath. It's definitely not going to be easy. What else to deal with his parents. However, the two agreed to help each other. Athalla also promised to help Syafa's lover by providing capital loans for his business.
