THE STAIN OF THE PAST

THE STAIN OF THE PAST
Chapter 73. Meet Adit.

Kania brought a basket for her groceries. He wants to cook for Athalla. Almost two weeks of their marriage. It all still looks so beautiful.

Aunt Meri has returned to the village again. Kania gave quite a lot of money when Auntie gave her leave. Money from Athalla and also his salary.

Although Aunt Meri never made a mistake but Kania can not forget the services of the woman. He has cared for and raised Kania to adulthood. If he was so cruel, he could have left him in an orphanage.

Cania takes shrimp, squid and clams. She's gonna cook her husband some seafood. All mixed into Padang sausage cuisine.

When engrossed in choosing shrimp, Kania is surprised by the touch on his left arm. Kania immediately turned his head, and was even more shocked to see who was standing before him.

"Adit ... Ira," Kania said in a trembling voice.

These few months of not meeting people in her past made Kania's life feel calmer. What else since marriage. Kania to forget there was a stain in his past.

"How are you, Kania? I heard you were married to Athalla. I wanted to attend your wedding at the time but I realized that my presence you never expected with evidence of my uninvited."

Kania took her breath hearing Adit's words. Indeed he and Athalla decided not to invite Adit. Athalla asked about this. Kania's answer is not to want to meet people in her past when she was happy.

Not because he was so vengeful, but all for the sanity of his mind and brain. Where there is a person who wants to stain his past known to people.

"Sorry, Adit, Ira. I did not deliberately invite people who would make the happiness I was feeling to be reduced because of their presence. Not that I'm arrogant, but it's all for my sanity!" Kania said that with great emphasis."

"I understand, Kania. It must be hard for you to accept me again. Kania, I can ask for your time. Just half an hour. After that I promise to stay out of your life."

Adit begged Kania to take a moment for him to talk. After thinking Kania finally agreed. He followed where Adit and Ira were taking him. The man was looking for a nearby hangout from the supermarket.

A uniquely decorated cafe is their choice. Adit ordered drinks and snacks before starting the chat.

"Nia, I'm sorry for everything I've done. It might not be easy for you to forgive all that. But from my heart I beg you. I have asked friends who still have your video to delete it. I've also asked IT experts to remove traces of your videos on social media."

Adit paused his speech. He took a breath. Ira, Kania's co-worker who once defamed her is just downcast in shame. Unable to speak.

"I have received my karma. My brother is going through the same thing as you. However, his mentality is not as strong as yours. Until he had to end his life."

Kania was grateful she never thought of doing bodor things like this. He believed that after the rain and the storm there would be rainbows.

Adit and Ira again apologized for what they had done to Kania. The woman finally forgives all of Adit and Ira's fault.

"Thank you, Nia. You are a good woman, worthy of being with Athalla who is also a good man" Adit said sincerely.

"Pardon all past events to make my life calm too."

Kania suddenly felt her cheeks being frowned upon. Kania turns her body and sees her husband Athalla. It turned out that the man had been standing there for quite a while.

"I'm lucky to have a woman like you who has an ocean-wide heart" Athalla said.

Adit and Ira also invite the two of them to be able to attend their wedding. Adit chose Ira as his life companion, because that woman who had known the rest of the negatives but could still accept him.

Forgiving people for what they do or say to us is not easy because it takes an ocean-wide heart and sincerity to do it.

However, it can prevent you from hate and resentment, which will only damage yourself in life.

Forgiving or forgiving the mistakes of others is beneficial to yourself because it can make your heart more calm and peaceful.

People have to forgive. We should not like them, we should not be friends with them, we should not send them hearts in text messages, but we should forgive them, ignore them, forget them. Because if we don't, we tie a rock to our feet, too heavy for our wings to carry!" - C. Joybell C's.
