"Bu Saras gave me Blackpink oreo as well as milk" Raka said cheerfully.

"Well, what kind of oreo is that?" Garin asked, trying to pay attention to his approach without looking too obvious.

"Creos. That's nice-with pink jam, not white jam like I bought you last time."

“Oh, fine, but you can't ask too often for something like that, yes.” he said.

"Hmm, how's the lesson?" Garin switched the conversation.

Raka furrowed her brows. "What?"

"Mom Saras helped you with your schoolwork, right?"

"Oo, it's fun, we're playing around."

"Games?"

"I'll explain later" said Saras as he stepped forward, "but we've started well."

Hearing his voice, Garin turned to face the source of the voice and again felt a pleasant surprise.

She wore a long skirt and blouse again, nothing fancy, but when she smiled, Garin felt the same strange feeling she had when she first met him. Garin realized that she had not fully appreciated how beautiful the woman was last time.

Yes, he recognized the fact that the woman was attractive, and the same features immediately flashed on his face, hair as smooth as corn, a fine-boned face, and the same features, eyes were brown-colored - but today she somehow looked softer, her face softer.a warm and almost familiar expression.

Garin dropped Raka to the ground.

"Hoot, you want to wait for me by the car while I'm talking to Ms Saras for a few minutes?"

"OK," said Raka easily.

Then, to Garin's surprise, Raka steps up and hugs Saras, who replies to Raka's embrace with a warm embrace before the little man rushes off.

As soon as Raka left, Garin looked at her curiously. "You two seem to fit in."

"We had a good time today."

"That sounds like. If I knew you were eating cake and playing games, I wouldn't worry about it too much."

"Hey, whatever," he said. "But before you worry too much, I want you to know a game that involves reading. Flash card."

"I think there's more to the story behind it. How's it going today?"

"good. The journey is long, but good." He's stopped.

"He's a great kid, he's really great. I know I've said it before, but I don't want you to forget it because of what happened here. And he obviously adored you."

"Thank you" he said simply, meaningfully.

"Thank you back."

When he smiled again, Garin turned around, hoping he didn't realize what Garin was thinking before and at the same time wishing he had realized.

"Hey, by the way, thanks for the fan," he continued after the pause, referring to the industrial-sized fan he dropped off in his classroom that morning.

"No problem" he muttered, torn between wanting to stay here and talking to her and wanting to escape the wave of nervousness that suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

For a moment, none of them said anything. The awkward silence lasted until Garin finally moved his legs and muttered, "Well, I think I should take Raka home."

"OK." said Saras.

“There are a few things we have to do.”

"Okay," he said again.

"That's not what I thought."

"All right then." He stopped, then put his hand in his pocket.

"I think I'd better take Raka home."

Saras nodded seriously. "You said that already."

"Yes?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Saras tucked a strand of hair behind his ear. For reasons he couldn't explain, he considered the goodbye the man said to be adorable, almost mesmerizing.

He was different from the men he knew in Cijengkol, men like Aldi who shopped at the Versaset Plaza Cijengkol outlets never seemed to lose their words. In the months following the divorce, Saras began to see them like perfect pieces of cardboard.

"Alright, then," said Garin, he did not want to realize anything but his need to leave.

"Thank you again..." And with that, she retreated towards her car, calling Raka as she walked away.

His last image was Saras standing in the schoolyard, waving towards the retreating car with a faint smile on his face.
