The Traces of Destiny

The Traces of Destiny
A wedding?

Half an hour before Garin had to go home to get dressed and work, Garin, Saras, and Raka took the time to walk, as Garin promised Raka.

For clothes, yes, they have to go home to change clothes because it turns out that not only Raka is dirtying her clothes, but Garin as well.

They walked towards the end of the block and entered the forest area in front of the housing. Raka grabbed Saras' hand and guided him through the small forest, laughing, and as she watched them walk among the trees, Garin slowly realized where all this was going.

Though she knows she loves Saras, and she is touched because Saras chooses to share a family with her.

But the thing he likes most is the sense of closeness, the atmosphere of the holiday, the way his relatives respond to it casually, and he is sure that he does not want this invitation is just a separate invitation and it ends just like that.

It was then that Garin first thought of asking Saras to marry him, and once the idea came to his mind, he found it almost impossible to resist.

In front, Saras and Raka were throwing stones at the small river, one after another. When she felt enough, Raka walked back, and Saras followed her.

"Come on!" he yelled. "We're exploring!" exclaim Saras.

"Yes, Dad, hurry up!" Call Raka.

"I'm coming-you don't have to wait! I'll catch up." replied Garin.

He was not in a hurry to do it, keep going with the original rhythm.

Instead, Garin continued to sink into his thoughts as they continued to move further and further away, eventually disappearing behind the dense forest.

Garin put his hand in his pocket.

"Wedding," he murmured.

Of course, their relationship was still in its early stages, and he had no intention of kneeling here and now to ask that question Saras pepper.

At the same time, he suddenly knew that there would come a time when he would do so as well.

Saras was right for him, he was sure of that. And he was amazing with Raka. Raka seems to love him, and that's also important, because if Raka doesn't like him, Garin won't even consider what might happen in the future with Saras.

And along with that, something inside clicked, a key neatly attached into its padlock. Pas!

With this decision, he subconsciously felt himself relaxed.

Garin could not see Saras or Raka as he passed the river, but Garin followed the direction he last saw. A minute later he managed to find the whereabouts of Raka and Saras, and when he closed the distance between them, he realized that he had never been this happy during these recent years.

From lunch on Saras' father's birthday to mid-December, Garin and Saras grow closer, both as lovers and as friends, their relationship developed into something deeper and permanent.

Garin also began to give clues about the possibility of their future together.

Saras was not blind to what the words in their conversation actually meant, in fact, he found himself adding his own comments on several occasions.

Like the little things - when they lay in bed, Garin once mentioned that according to him his walls should be repainted, Saras suggested that a pale yellow color might look cheerful and they chose the color together.

Or Garin will mention that the garden needs color and he will say that he has always loved camellias, and that is what he would plant if he lived here.

Conversations that often involve the word "we".

That weekend, Garin planted five types of flowers along the front of the house. And don't forget he filled it with some camellias.

When Garin visits the flower shop, he gets a bit of an interesting story about the flower. Camellias have a very deep meaning, which symbolizes the union between men and women. Many believe that the delicate, layered petal flower symbolizes a woman. The green petals that support the crown represent a man who protects his beloved. According to the seller's story, the crown and petals of the camellia will remain together even after death and withering.

One of the camellias that Garin bought was in a flowering condition, a camellia with stacked red flowers that were very beautiful. No wonder the state of Alabama later made camellias their official flower. The flowers are really pretty.

The file remains in the closet, and for the first time in a long while, to Garin the present appears more alive than the past.

But what Saras and Garin do not know is that even though they are ready to forget the past, events will soon conspire to make it impossible.
