The Traces of Destiny

The Traces of Destiny
Raka Gives Permission

The next day.

"Hi, Dad!"

Hearing his son's voice, Garin put his cap slightly up and looked up at Raka standing up. They were in the yard, sweeping the dried leaves of the flowering mango tree this year.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry I didn't watch Upin Ipin the Movie with Dad last night. I completely forgot it yesterday and just remembered it this morning. Are you mad at me?"

Garin smiles. "Religious. I'm not angry at all."

"Do you want us to watch that now?"

Garin shook his head. "Maybe not now, I hear there's a better movie."

"Yes, what is it?

"Work!"

"Wow Wonka! we should watch that, Dad"

"Yes, you have to be a little patient. I think mid-October will be in Cinema."

"Well, I'll try to be patient."

"Hahaha, it's a pity that your father doesn't have the ability to regulate the film industry."

"I'm glad you're not more busy than you are now."

"I'm also happy to be able to have more time with a little handsome guy like you."

"Do you really think I'm handsome?"

"Sure, you can see our noses are very similar. Only good-looking people have noses like ours."

" Yes, it looks like this nose made us handsome. Then, what are we gonna do next?"

Garin put down his broom, took off his hat, and rubbed his forehead with the back of his hand. "Actually, I'm thinking of meeting Saras tonight."

"Again?"

Garin thought how much he should say at the moment. "We have a few things to talk about, yes, last night there was an interesting conversation between us."

What will Father and Ma'am Saras do ?"

"We're planning on having dinner. Spoke. A walk."

"That's all?"

"More or less."

"That sounds boring."

"Father you should be there to know the excitement."

Raka thought about it for a moment. "Is this a date again, Dad?"

"Like."

"Oh." He nodded and then threw away his face. "I guess that means you like him, right?"

Garin approached Raka, lowering herself to the level of her son's eyes. "She and I are just friends right now, that's all."

Raka seemed to be considering her father's words long enough. Garin cradled and hugged, squeezing his arms gently. "I love you, champ" he said.

"I love you too, Dad."

"You're a good boy."

"I know."

Garin laughed and stood up, lowered Raka and grabbed her broom again.

"Hi Daddy!"

"Yes?"

"What do you want to eat?"

"Can we go to McDonald's?"

"Good idea. We haven't been there in a long time."

"May I order a Happy Meal?"

“Hmm, do you think you're not a little old to eat that?”

"My age is seven, Dad."

"Oh, right too," he said as if he had forgotten. "Let's go inside and take a shower."

They walk towards the house, and Garin embraces Raka. After a few steps, Raka looked up.

"Hi dad!"

"Yes?"

Raka walked silently a few steps.

“I have nothing if Daddy likes him.”

Garin looked down in surprise. "Him?"

"Yes, Saraswati's mother" said Raka seriously. "Because I think he likes Dad."

Like getting the blessing of a father, since the conversation with Raka that morning Garin increasingly diligently met with Saras.

Their feelings get stronger the more they meet.

Throughout the month of October they dated as many as half a dozen, that was without counting when he met Saras after school.

They could chat for hours, the man holding the hand of the woman who was still alone every time they walked, and even though their relationship had not yet become a physical one, still there was a sensual element in their conversation that neither of them could deny.

Dating two adults is impossible not to include the adult element in their jokes and chats.

But Garin doesn't yet have enough courage for other adult stunts. And Saras, she must be a stoic woman.

That day, Garin and Saras agreed to a slightly different date. They decide to join the real human Squid Game.

They signed up for the show hosted by the somewhat well-known host of a few, BluJoker.

Both of them use green bewaerna costumes with numbers as the identity of the participants. Garin got the number 009 and Saras the number 010.

In the first stage they get a challenge in the 'Green Light, Red Light' session with the rule when BluJoker chants 'Green Light' so all the participants try to run as fast as possible towards the finish line and when BluJoker shouted 'Red Light' then all the participants must stop and be silent like a statue. Garin who stopped too late was finally declared dead in the first stage.

Saras, with his unusual luck, surprisingly made it through to the final stage of heading for the top prize of ten million points. At that stage Saras had to choose between even numbers or odd numbers that would be the deciding ladder to ten million points.

The first stage went perfectly, as well as in the next few stages. However, when BluJoker gave him the choice of whether to advance to the ten million stage or quit by taking home eight million points, Saras made the wrong choice. With that the game ended and Saras went home with no results.

Along the way home Garin tried to comfort Saras who intended to throw himself into the lake because he felt disappointed.

"If you intend to throw yourself into the lake with me." seduced Garin.

"By pleasure." answered Saras ketus.

"All right, hmm.. I had to make a clear message for Raka so she wouldn't blame me." Garin glanced at the woman who was playing with her own nails.

That was when Saras turned to look at him. "Wicked, so you're gonna write that I made him alone?"

"Yes, I have to be honest of course." Garin raised his shoulders.

"Before that how about we give him a complete family again?" said Saras.

Ngiiittt....

Garin stepped on the brakes deeply. His jaw almost fell upon hearing the words of the woman beside him.

"Are you serious?"
