The Witness's
Chapter I

Three beautiful girls walked down the school corridor confidently. Despite showing off a smile, other people still try to stay away from them. People who pass by looking down, do not want to be greeted by Maddie, Zoe and Alis, Senior IPS majors who are quite unsettling for all students of Pioneer International School Manado.

As usual the three popular and wealthy disciples entered the canteen, but not to satiate the stomach. Eyebrows and Zoe look cool pranking a bespectacled student enjoying an instant bowl of noodles, while netra hazel Maddie instead focuses on someone in the middle of a canteen sitting alone. A figure that used to mean a lot, which previously could always be relied on. Before the figure betrayed their friendship.

A beveled smile flared along with Maddie who took the water from the table and headed towards the owner of the long black mane. The owner of netra hazel pretended to be in a cuff, causing water to spill on the gray skirt belonging to Denada Inka Winstone.

Zoe and Alis chuckled at Maddie who gave a guilty look. Denada could only sit still and take a tissue to clean the splashes of water on the table due to Madelline's actions. With a stifled vexation he stood about to leave the cafeteria as Maddie held onto his shoulder, forcing Denada to sit back.

"Where'd Denada go? We're not done yet." Maddie said with a floating smile.

"What else do you want?" Reply Denada lazy.

"Playing. The three of us haven't played water in a long time, you want to come?" Continue Maddie while chuckling softly.

"Stay away from her, Maddie."

Leon Aswangga flatly said he saw his girlfriend again just silently as if enjoying every action Maddie clearly bully. Leon is eager to report on Maddie's actions, but Denada strictly forbids them. After all the owner of the school was the uncle of the owner of the net hazel. It's free to report the very spoiled Maddie in her family.

"Oh hi Leon, what's the news? What's your relationship, okay?"

"Lo why change gini anyway? Didn't he help you from the bullies? Why are you bully him now?" Asked Leon who was now standing next to Denada with both hands folded in front of his chest.

"Lo doesn't know anything so don't interfere!" Maddie's small hand clenched beside the body heard Leon who could not understand why they were fighting.

"Gue won't interfere if you don't bother my girlfriend!" Reply to the owner of short black hair who also does not want to lose. His chest rose and fell with anger.

"Get Leon."

Denada holds Leon's hand, trying to calm the girlfriend who is now the center of attention of the canteen residents. Instead of being calm, Leon instead shuffled his frustrated hair and turned to look angrily at Denada.

"You why too? I don't want you to keep quiet in the bullies, Inca."

Denada just smiled at the small name called by her late mother, now used by Leon. Only the closest people used to call him that, including Madelline. But not anymore.

"Temenin me to class huh? I brought a change of clothes."

In that instant Leon immediately took Denada's hand and led him to the classroom, leaving Denada who continued to look at them with a face that was difficult to understand.

The hour hand kept turning until it showed at 16:30, the return hour of school at Pioneer International School. Unlike the other students, Maddie always took time to the library when all the students had gone home, not wanting anyone to see her there. He also used the name Denada as a disguise. Mrs Barb as a library guard knows this and keeps the girl a secret if she still wants to work at this school. Yes, Madelline threatened to fire the 45-year-old.

"This is Mrs Blake?" This wavy black haired lady asked, making sure.

"Yes." Yeah."

"The 12th class Physics Book was borrowed by-"

"The Winstone." Cut Madelline fast.

"I know Mrs Blake." Mrs Barb opened a book and began writing, "But what if Mrs Winstone asks?" Ask the woman again.

"He won't ask. Most likely he already knows, considering he is also a student of the labor and library place."

He exited without saying goodbye and headed to the parking lot where only a few cars were still parked there. He got in the car and observed 6 vehicles lined up. The 16-year-old girl memorized all the cars and motorcycles that still stayed there. It's his habit to do that, for some reason.

"Ear?"

"There's."

"Paper glue?"

"There's."

"Black, blue and red spidol?"

Arriving at home Maddie decides to accompany her sister Gavin to buy some supplies for tomorrow's practice. It was 7pm and the brothers had not yet come out of the supermarket near their housing complex.

"Mama's custody has not been checked yet?" Ask the sister.

"empty. Come in next week."

In the middle of their busy shopping spree, netra hazel Gavin even caught someone he had not seen for a long time. Tired for a moment what his brother would do, but he did not care.

"Buck!"

The owner of the name turned his head with a faint smile seeing Gavin still remembering and reprimanding him. Gavin heads towards the Inca in the next hallway, with a grumbling Maddie behind him.

"Hi Inca, buy what?"

"Kitchen requirements. You guys?" Denada replied with a sweet smile.

"Find the materials for practice tomorrow. There'll be extra value if everything's done on time and it's a green light for me."

"Denger added value just direct fast motion." Denada's jokes are repaid to the ruckus.

Gavin's eyes then began to scan the shopkeeper before he returned to speak, "Who's the same Lo?"

"Sama Leon's. But he's out there talking to Richard."

Denada replied with a brief glance at Maddie who was busy with a smart phone. Even so Denada still feels happy to know that one of Maddie's good habits has not changed, namely accompanying her sister. And Maddie noticed the look.

"Come on Gavin, I'm tired." Maddie was upset.

Gavin could only take a deep breath and follow his older brother, "We're the Inca first."

Not yet exhausted his frustration met and had to hear Denada talking graciously with Gavin, in front of the shop, Leon and Om Richard, their neighbors, greeted. And again Gavin replied.

"Eh Madelline and Gavin. Shopping huh?" Ask Richard with a friendly smile.

"Yes, Om himself?"

"There needs to be a little bit of the same Leon. You guys want to go home yet? Want together?"

"No need to Om. Mr. Yon is coming." Reject Gavin smooth. Right after that a silver car near them honked, signaling the car was ready to go. Without saying anything Maddie headed straight for the car, "We go first, Om, Leon."

The first thing that Gavin realized when entering the car was the look on the face of the brother who wanted to swallow him alive. The man who was sitting on the Junior High bench could only take a slow breath and glance at the older brother silently while wearing a seatbelt.

"Shall you greet everyone?"

"We only met Inka, Leon and Om Richard. What's wrong with me greeting them?" Gavin defended himself.

"Om Richard doesn't matter, but the Inca is Leon?"

The 2-year-old man with Maddie was hugging the front hand of the chest, "Until now I don't understand the way you think. How come you know he's been after the last few years?"

"Lo doesn't know anything."

The answer that always comes out every time asked why he bullied Denada. His high prestige made him unwilling to tell the truth.

"Whatever your problems, your actions are wrong. Someday you will find him. Trust me." Gavin.

"What's it gonna do to find him?"

"My feeling is."

Maddie stared back at Gavin flatly, "Remember this yes, I don't need him. I don't need anything from him and I don't care what he wants to face or wants to face later."
