Chapter XIX

Maddie didn't want to wait until the police finished interrogating Richard Hartono. His concern for Denada was enormous. The girl also invites Will, due to teaching and learning activities at the stand, to meet with Denada's guardian to find out what really happened when he reported Denada's disappearance to the police.

It just so happened that the woman had just come out of the house in Denada.

"Tante Mala."

"Maddie?" The woman squinted to confirm, "Maddie, have the police done a search? The Inca didn't come home last night. That's not unusual. Did you know he didn't come home?"

"I know aunt. Dena-Inka can't worry aunty." Maddie stroked the woman's shoulder, to calm her down.

"But where is he going? Where's leon?"

Maddie turned her head with two raised eyebrows, "Unfortunately Leon has not seen a aunt?"

"There was."

"Then tan?"

Mala nodded, "Early in the morning Leon ran up the bike. Auntie didn't get to call because she was riding that bike."

Maddie frowned. He was trying to figure out what exactly happened this morning, when Leon met early in the morning. Did he know Denada disappeared even before Aunt Mala called the police?

"What time did Leon come?" Will asked in wonder.

"Around 6 and a half 7." Mala sat down and took a breath, "Tante thinks he's coming home to take the Inca, but he's not. The house is empty."

"Leon brought something? Or the door suddenly opened?"

Mala shook her head in response to Maddie's question, "Leon had brought nothing and the door was still locked. Aunty has to go home and get a spare key to open the door."

"Auntie is calm. The police will find the Inca." Will. Although Denada is not the son of Aunt Mala, but the woman clearly loves Denada.

"Amin. I hope the police find her."

Maddie and Will decide to go back to school, realizing they can't do much more than wait for the police results. They don't know where else to go but when they get to school, they see Leon speeding, now in his car. Will presses a horn trying to catch Leon's attention, and soon Leon's car spins around and stops in front of the school.

"Where is Denada?" Without further ado Maddie raises core questions. With an emotional look on his face he came to Leon without any trepidation.

"Gue doesn't know. Last morning I went to his house because from last night the same phone chat I did not reply. He never made that cake." Obviously Leon is frustrated.

"Where's Trus lo from?" Will asked.

"Police office. Richard is under arrest for the alleged murder of Sophie. Crazy right?" Leon hits the car upset, "Om Richard can't kill Sophie, that guy loves Sophie so much."

Talking about Sophie managed to make Maddie remember something that Leon said, but when Sophie disappeared.

"Leon wants me to ask."

"What?"

"What did you mean in the green house a few months ago?"

Leon looked at Maddie in surprise, "You mean?"

"Lo told me 'Don't be too kepo on people's business. You won't like what others hide'."

"What did I say?"

Leon's movements are very suspicious. Especially when Maddie told me what she said a few months ago.

"Don't lie." Maddie pressed her words.

"I was suspicious of Richard at the time too." Reply Leon with force. He sighed in annoyance and began to walk uneasily.

"He used to come home in the middle of the night and had a hard time calling Sophie. I suspect dong. So I got closer, hoping she'd tell me anything she felt, but nothing." Leon said uneasily, "But now I think he has something to do with Denada."

"I'm actually the one who gave the police information about Uncle Lo."

Leon's movement stopped hearing Maddie's confession. He looked at the girl with a frown, "Kok lo?"

Flowing Maddie's story that is also not known by Will. The two men were certainly surprised, but understand why Maddie had chosen to shut up. With Denada missing he had to say something, whether it was useful or not.

"So unconsciously Om Richard did his cruel actions witnessed by you." Leon made sure.

"More or less. But we don't know if Richard did it yet. I mean, he's suspicious and either coincidentally or inadvertently, Richard's om as if it's related to these cases." Maddie told me carefully, not wanting to make Leon disappointed with the figure he had long considered a good parent.

After their conversation on the side of the road Maddie parted ways with Will. The girl returned to the Headmaster's room to calm her mind. My uncle's office is empty. Police who had been wandering in the school have now been assigned Fajar to look for Denada.

Maddie decides to grab a bottle of healthy drink to make her think clearly when the sound of the phone interrupts her.

A call from an unknown number came in.

"Hello?"

Maddie's face turned calm. Eagerly he exited while running to class, in search of Will. At that time Maddie also informed Leon and told important news. Police have found Denada and he is now in treatment at Malalayang hospital. Maddie enters class but there is no sign of Will.

"Have you seen Will?" Maddie asked some of her classmates.

"So in the canteen."

Foot wrapped in black shoes ran towards the canteen. He breaks through all the students who are blocking the way, until Maddie finds Will in the middle of the cafeteria, talking to some of his friends. The girl approached and whispered the new news to the ears, and Will immediately moved.

"Korna Leon already has, now ngincer Will."

Eyebrow insinuation makes Will and Maddie turn their heads. This time Maddie was emotionless, instead smiling obliquely and hugging Will's friendly hand. He drowned the face around Will's neck, inhaling the masculine scent that was Will's trademark and suddenly smelled Will on the cheek.

"Let's go babe."

Maddie pulls Will and runs away from the cafeteria to his surprise. Maddie kissing Will in front of them will be a hot topic after Denada is declared missing. When entering the car Denada scratched the nape not itchy. He realized the act earlier in the cafeteria in front of friends made Maddie's confidence increase, but only then.

Right now in the car it's just him and Will and the situation gets awkward. At least for Maddie. Will looks fine.

"Sorry."

Will looked over for a moment, "For?"

"So in the canteen."

Will chuckles. He nodded and glanced at Maddie. The girl could only circulate her gaze to the street, not daring to look at the handsome face of Will who was laughing at her.

"Lo's sorry for kissing me on the cheek? Lv? Lo's girlfriend?" Will's back chuckling, "Lo's funny huh. We're both dating. Just a kiss on the cheek is not wrong, right?"

"Yes, anyway." Maddie mutters that she realized that she herself made Will laugh at her.

"You've done more, that's just embarrassed Mads."

"Will!"

Will can only laugh at Maddie's response. Shaming the girl into a new habit. He likes that. Maddie was both embarrassed and angry. And that clash was just the first one in their relationship, and Will was looking forward to the next one.
