The Witness's
Chapter II

All Maddie's activities are scheduled. During her break, Zoe and Alis began acting in the cafeteria, then the streets in the mall spent free time and some of the money given by parents after school. KFC area became the third place the girl relax. They took place on the second floor with a view of the beach while taking pictures.

"Zoe!"

The three schoolgirls in Pioneer school uniforms turned their heads and found some friends from another school heading towards them with big smiles adorning their faces.

"Come here!" Zoe exclaimed at the short black-haired figure holding a basketball.

"Lo ngajak Dennis and his team?" Maddie's rude whispers.

"What's wrong with Mads? They are popular in Eben Haezar, besides they are also rich and handsome." Zoe turned to Maddie with one frown raised, "Lo don't want to catch Dennis yet? Don't you think he'll get another girl?"

Before Maddie replied to the figure she was talking about was already sitting in front of her. Maddie turned the lazy eyeball as Dennis Alow winked. If it was done to someone else they would have been devastated, but not with this one girl. Dennis was a handsome guy, but his pretentious attitude was exaggerated. It wasn't just the one time Maddie heard that Dennis often compared his face to overseas artists, and that made Maddie disgusted.

"Hey gorges. Why didn't you pick up my phone yesterday?"

A very uncomfortable greeting again disturbs the hearing senses of Blake's person. Maddie just stared at Dennis flat then grabbed his smartphone, intending to keep himself busy.

"Okay mumpung two days ago I just released a single title, I'm the one who treat." Zoe spoke while clapping her hands. Eyebrows and others cheered cheerfully at the word 'traktir'. Although they are included in the class of children of the rich, but the word 'traktir' remains influential. Maddie was confused on the other hand.

"Who is Zoe the same?" Ask Maddie.

"Grand." Reply to a man with a smile towards Maddie.

Spontaneous Maddie immediately turned her head towards Eyebrow with her eyes wide open. The eyebrows that understood the intent of Maddie's gaze only moved her mouth silently, saying 'Wait for Zoe'.

"Oh come on, Madelline.. Kris is handsome, funny, cool and rich. That's a plus. A lot of girls want to be in my current position because it can get Kris' heart."

"Do you know he's a playboy?"

Maddie just doesn't want Zoe to hurt. But the girl looks displeased Maddie who meddles in her relationship. Zoe's mood changed. His gaze on Maddie turned cynical.

"Everybody can turn Maddie. I don't want to be single during High School because I failed to move on from boyfriend people!"

"Zoe!" Eyebrows snapping.

Maddie seemed relaxed, as if she knew what the response would be. Eyebrows stared back at the scared Maddie and slightly lowered their heads. He called the rich girl's name slowly but Maddie only chuckled. At least he knew the reason Zoe and Eyebrow survived being friends with him when others didn't. For fear.

"Mads, not that.. Zoe didn't mean to"

"Yes yes.safe are you the same with Kris."

Cut Maddie fast. Immediately he grabbed the bag and paid for all their orders arrogantly. Maddie stepped out with a smile adorning her face. At least now he had a reason to stay away from them.

It has been almost 1 week Maddie is no longer seen close to Alis and Zoe. The school residents immediately knew that their relationship was not as close as usual. Since then there have been many rumors about and the reason they are no longer friends. All of that is not true. Denada could only stare at Maddie, realizing that she could not keep the girl company. Maddie is Maddie. A tough, arrogant girl.

Most people think Maddie is lonely because only Zoe and Alis want to be friends with her, but reality does not. Maddie was much calmer. Ed Sheeran ft Justin Bieber I don't Care accompanies his return journey. Maddie sings softly with her fingers tapped on the steering wheel wrapped in a light blue furry cover. It didn't take long for Maddie's blue car to enter the grounds of one of the elite housing estates.

"Ah what a coincidence Madelline's home. Come here, son." The mother's voice echoed, greeting her sense of hearing, "Include this Mike and Ben the owners of M&B's Party." Continue the brunette on the shoulder, pointing to a short-haired man wearing glasses and a short-haired man painted red.

"You guys are the famous celebgram party decor, right?" Ask Maddie.

"If you mean Caroline Tumurang, yes." Reply Mike, the guy with the glasses.

"The intent of their arrival is to discuss your event for the next two weeks."

Maddie looked at her mother with a frown, "I told you not to make a party. I want a vacation to Japan ma."

"Next year, huh? My mom made a promise to them."

With a rude sigh Maddie leaned back against the black leather sofa. Mike and Ben could only scratch the awkward nape. If this High School girl cancels Olivia Saroinsong's planning, gone are the big wages they're talking about.

"Then let me arrange everything. The theme, the food, the invitation, my photo booth set."

After the 45-year-old woman left, Mike and Ben pulled out a book, a pen and a branded tab and laptop. The two people arranged all the items on the table neatly.

"I want to"

"No need to talk formally." Ben said with a smile.

"Before, did you guys have any idea for the show later? You guys talked to Mama a little bit, didn't you?"

"We have some photos from our previous clients, if interested."

"Gue wants to see five photos from your most luxurious and best party."

After showing some pictures, Maddeline pointed at a flower-themed picture and gave it to Ben again.

"It will be more helpful if you already determine the color of the theme. We can adjust the color in the cake and decoration."

"The cake and cupcake should be from my family's place of subscription. Marry's Bake. I'll talk to them later, and you'll just tell me when to pick up the order."

"Marry's Bake." Mike wrote in his notebook, "There's more?"

"My favorite color is light blue, but I don't want the party like a baby shower. I want a cool but elegant color. Everything has to be perfect." Maddie's business aura comes out while talking about her wishes at the party later. Ben and Mike then put forward ideas for Madelline Blake's lavish party.

Preparations for Maddie's birthday party are almost complete. Tomorrow is the day where Maddeline becomes a figure that will be noticed by many people. Clothing, shoes, makeup and hair styling should be perfect. Ben and Mike are dropping off some items from the car as Maddie heads to her neighbor Richard Hartono's house. Green House mini owned by a male lecturer is always attracting attention when people enter the yard of his house or even just passing by. It was a coincidence that Om Richard was sitting in front of the house holding a tablet with a cup of coffee.

"What's Madelline doing?"

"Om still got the same white rose as the mint leaves?"

"There was. How much are you gonna take?" Reply Om Richard while standing and heading to a small building surrounded by glass, containing various flowers and some vegetable plants.

"One tie of white roses and 10 leaves of mint."

The 55-year-old grabbed rubber gloves and scissors, and began preparing Maddie's orders one by one.

"There's a guest? It's not unusual for Olivia to need 10 mint leaves."

"There are some workers at home."

Maddie who was walking around the place stopped in front of a tomato tree whose leaves began to turn yellow. Maddie's sense of smell seemed to be tested when a foul odor smelled there.

"Do you smell anyway?"

"Om not taking a shower Maddie. That was you?" Richard Hartono laughed awkwardly.

"Not om, it's like something's dead and starting to rot."

Richard's movements stopped. He slowly took off everything in his hand and took a deep breath. "What do you mean Maddie?" A strange aura came out from the man without Maddie noticing. Richard turned around, slowly heading towards Maddie who was behind him.

"Ah this. These tomatoes are rotten. Slovenly ah om, throw it away. A lot of neglect again. Dizziness kiss her, so sharp."

Richard stopped and turned to Maddie's hand, pointing at a bucket of rotten tomatoes that had stinked and flew away. Richard's expression instantly changed and scratched his non-itchy nape.

"Eh? Yes, I forgot to throw those tomatoes away." The man immediately filled all Maddie's orders into the crackle bag, "It's the roses and the mint leaves."

"This is the money."

"Thank you Madelline."

Richard continued to look at the teenage girl's back with a difficult look. The man lowered his head under the tomato plant that Maddie suspected earlier and quickly closed off something that was the source of the real stench. Whatever it is, it's definitely not a tomato.
