Chapter X

The rain hit Manado when the sun was no longer visible. People were running around looking for shelter as the falling water grew more and more. Bus stops, stalls until the booth has been fulfilled. Unlike other people who are looking for shelter, Denada instead walks casually under the rain speck letting the entire body get wet and cold. One of the things that people do not know, walking under heavy rain makes the girl calm.

His mind was too busy thinking about the incident this afternoon when a car stopped in front of him with a floodlight that dazzled the view.

"Lo's crazy?"

Only two words came out of Maddie's mouth when she found Denada who was leisurely walking in this weather. Denada ignores the rich girl and goes on a road trip when the Blake family car gets in her way.

"Get. I'll drive you home."

"No thanks."

Denada's rejection certainly makes Maddie very emotional, but as hard as possible he tries not to yell at even Denada who is very brave to refuse his invitation.

"Lo come in now or I'll go in for the rain. Choose where?"

Denada grumbled in annoyance before opening the door and entering. Maddie smiled triumphantly to see Denada obey his wishes despite being threatened. The owner of netra hazel immediately closed the car glass and cleaned the splashes of water in vain.

"Must be in ancem first?" Maddie said casually with a view that is now attached to her smartphone. "Road Mr. Yon."

"Powerful to hold your body weak. The rain is immediately sick." Denada replied flatly.

"Gue knows." Maddie smiled slanted, "Lo think I'm really going to be out in the weather like this? Just to play the same rain?

"You want what the hell?" Denada began to raise her voice annoyed at Maddie.

"Sorry."

Denada could only glare at Maddie apologizing, which was certainly very rare, but Denada did not want Maddie to realize that and decided to re-engage with her mind.

Along the way, they were both silent. Maddie's apology makes the situation very awkward.

Almost in front of Denada's house, Maddie researched the place closely. Nothing has changed from that place, all the same as a few years ago, precisely the last time Maddie set foot in the house.

"Tante Mala is there?"

"No."

Maddie remembers the conversation with Gavin. Discussions as they decide to keep harak with Richard Hartono, including Leon.

"Please go on Mr. Yon."

"Eh?" Denada looked at Maddie in astonishment.

"At home there's Gavin. We can film a marathon while snacking. I'll ask Bi Foni to change the sheets in the guest room."

Denada's strange look was still shown to Maddie as every word that came out of Maddie's mouth was very unusual. First an apology and now a stay.

"Where's your head bumping?" Denada's sarcasm was so stinging that Maddie could only smile wryly.

"Gue can't be your own home with gini-like weather. There's a psychopath running around town, and as much that I don't like you, I don't want you dead either." Maddie turned to Denada, "Lo can wear my clothes. We're still 1 size, right?"

"Bi please make hot tea 3 yes. The one in love with Mr. Yon." Maddie said while taking off the sandals behind the door.

"Is there another non?"

"Heat more water, we want to make noodles plugged."

Bi Foni emerged from the kitchen still with a hanging apron, "Auntie can make all of you."

"No need to bi." Reject Maddie smooth.

Bi Foni turned his head towards Denada, bowing softly, "Good night non-Inka."

"Good night bi." Denada smiled back at the shoulder-haired woman.

Maddie invites Denada into her room, provides warm water for her to take a bath, as well as clothes for her to wear. While waiting Maddie decided to visit her sister in the next room.

"Gavin!"

"Moran?" Sahut Gavin while opening the room door. The 14-year-old's hair was messy and did not wear a T-shirt when he met Maddie.

"Help me make my noodles plump. Kasian Denada is cold." After saying that Maddie turned around, going down the stairs letting Gavin call her.

"Pake shirt. Wanna show off what? Sixpack is a fantasy." Sindir Maddie's.

"Well, you mean? Is she here?" Gavin pays no heed to Maddie's insinuations. He focused instead on the name that his brother mentioned.

Maddie handed Gavin a pack of noodles with scissors, and he struggled with cutlery and eggs and chives to mix.

"Since when have you been paying attention to the Incas?"

"Shut up Gavin!" Maddie.

Gavin only responds with a laugh finding he can make the older brother emotional about his relationship with Denada which seems to be improving.

A few minutes later Denada came down, still with her hair in a towel roll. He was wearing white hotpants and a red shirt that fit snugly on the body. The scent of vanilla, typical of Maddie, was smelled as she approached.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Denada asked as she entered the luxurious kitchen of the Blake family.

Maddie thrust out a few dishes as well as spoons and forks, "Take this on the table."

A serving of ceplok noodles, soy sauce and green chili is set on a wooden table. Gavin was already sitting there, having arranged a glass and a glass teapot filled with drinking water.

"Eat aja. I'd like to take Aunt and Mr. Yon."

After Maddie's departure, Gavin starts picking up noodles and approaches Denada.

"My brother did you?"

"Huh?" Denada did not understand Gavin's intentions.

"Lo here must be in ancem, right? Or is he bully lo again?"

"Forced exactly." Sahut Denada's.

"They've eaten and now they want to go home." Maddie. He took the plate and took the noodles.

"Ok Maddie, obviously the real reason the Incas are here." Gavin replied in a commanding tone that made Maddie turn the eyeball lazily.

"Gue met him on the street, rained and cold. There was no one at home, so I thought he was stuck. The end of story."

Short clear solid. Maddie said nothing and had no intention of saying a word, especially regarding the reason she had invited Denada.

"OK so what do we want to see?" Maddie's turning the story around. "It's not cool if abis eat us directly to sleep."

"Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise." Answer Gavin quickly.

"No." Maddie's reply was quick.

Gavin just grunted in annoyance, "Gue doesn't want to love the story. Disgust watching both."

"Harry Potter?" Advice Denada.

"Deal."

Maddie, Gavin and Denada watched Harry Potter parts 7 & 8 until it did not feel clockwork had shown at 12 midnight.

"Should Fred die?"

"Dam. Cry again to me."

"Udah is done." Gavin said flatly, "Fred is dead 50 times every time we watch Deathly Hollows. And 50 times you cry."

After finishing, Denada decided to collect the rest of their snacks and clean the table before going to bed. As Denada heads to the kitchen to remove the grass, Gavin approaches Maddie.

"Mads, you want to tell the Inca the 'that' problem?"

Maddie shook her head firmly, "We don't know for sure."

"Trus why is the Inca here?"

Still whispering Maddie's eyes can not be separated from the kitchen, fear Denada appeared suddenly and heard their conversation.

"Udah is 2 weeks and the psychopath has not attacked. If it was a psychopath, Om Richard, Denada would be a target. And the weather tonight is a big help to the situation." Obviously Maddie, "Tante Mala doesn't exist and Leon doesn't have Denada safer here either."

As Denada came out of the kitchen suddenly a knocking sound was heard. Maddie, Gavin and Denada stared at each other with glaring eyes. All fear. Chester and Olivia Blake are not at home due to business matters out of town. Mr. Yon and Bi Foni have also returned home.

"Who's meeting at 12 midnight?"
