Zahra was lying on the bed. The beautiful woman surrounded the white-colored room with her gaze. Then it moved on to the three people who were waiting for him in the room.
"Is this not too much, brother?" He asked quietly when his gaze was fixed on the back of his hand which was still stuck in an infusion hose.
"It's the best choice, Ra. It'll be safer here than in the cottage." Answer Grace.
Anisa stepped closer to Zahra who seemed to want to get up from the bed, and helped the woman who was still looking neatly sit on the patient's bed..
Grace looked at the clock that coiled around her wrist. Return to make sure if the man who said Abi did the message a moment ago was on his way, has arrived at this hospital.
And sure enough, moments later the door of the room where they were, on tap from outside. Grace stepped towards the door, and opened it slowly. If only, the Abi did not teach him about ethics and religious science, it was ascertained if the man who is now standing before him, will relieve the blow because it has hurt his sister.
On top of the bed, Zahra was silent with her heart suddenly beating unruffled, when she saw someone she never expected to return to, already standing in the same room as her.
"We're home, Ra." Pamit Rahmat's. To be honest there was a sense of unease at seeing Riyan being there, however, back in view of his Umi and Abi advice, he tried to be mediocre.
"Sister...
"He wants to see you, Ra. If today is not the time to talk because your circumstances are not possible, then let him be here. He still has a right to know about your situation." Sela Grace. He knew that his cousin's sister was uncomfortable, however, this situation could not be avoided.
After inviting Riyan in, Rahmat invites Anisa and her older sister home.
The door to Zahra's treatment room was again sealed shut. And the three people who had accompanied him here since morning, were already nowhere to be seen.
Riyan looked at the face he so longed for and tried to thirst from memory, so intently. Wanted to take a quick step immediately, and carried the woman who looked so pale and thin into his arms. Repeatedly pecking the head that was still covered with the hijab. But really, he didn't have the courage to do that. No, he couldn't even just step closer to Zahra.
A passionate longing, hindered by the guilt that accumulates in Riyan's heart. While in Singapore, she focused only on Meisya's health, even trying to erase about Zahra from the heart, even though it was a futile effort, she said, because in the end Meisya also realized that he had been replaced by Zahra and mengikhlaskan Riyan to go fetch his love.
"How are you, Mas. Ma'am May how's it going?" Zahra asked started the conversation.
"Nothing's okay, Ra. He, me and you are not okay." Answer Riyan.
Zahra turned her face away, wiping the tears so presumptuously out without any excuse from the corner of her eyes.
"Then Mas was suddenly here, what about Ma'am Mei there?" Ask again.
Riyan shook his head. He had no idea what was going on with that woman there. But for sure, that's not a good thing.
"Meisya must have been crying just like you did on the side of the road that day." Answer Riyan.
Tears in the Zahra Waja more and more, to make the woman no longer care about her.
Riyan shook his head.
"I never left him. I never intended to return even though my heart and soul were already completely owned by you. But, it was Meisya who asked me to leave and wanted to find her happiness without me." Answer her honestly.
Zahra took her breath. Chanting to stay calm in the face of the situation, even though his chest seemed to break. His head felt throbbing in confusion with the endless complicated situation between them.
"Don't talk about this first. I'm here, because I heard you're not okay." Said Riyan as he stepped closer to the bed where Zahra was. Pull one seat available there, then sit quietly.
Zahra could only watch the tired-looking handsome face closely. Somehow the complicated relationship between himself and this man did not want to unravel, even though he had been trying to escape for three months. Ikhlas asked this man to go away from his life, so that the state of emotional drain and tears, will return to its original place. He will only return alone as before, and Riyan can resume his dream with the woman he should be.
Laku, what was in front of him? Really, it's so confusing.
"I just want to live whatever God provides, Ra. Act like water in a river, which just passes to where the current will take it." Riyan. He ventured to grab Zahra's hand that was stuck in the infusion tube, and stared at the pale hand. How could he be so greedy and lulled by desire and lead Zahra to this state?
"I'm a real jerk, Ra. Planting a seed, then leaving it just like that." Said slowly..
Zahra was surprised to hear that.
"Did I know about my pregnancy?" Ask Zahra.
Riyan nodded, but remained down looking at Zahra's hand without daring to look at the woman's face.
"Don't tell me that's why Mas left Mbak Meisya alone?" Zahra asked as she pulled her hand which was in the grasp of the man who was still her husband.
Riyan was silent.
"Say, Mas!" Zahra said firmly.
"Mom sent a message to my phone, and told me about your situation. And Meisya who opened the message." Riyan answered honestly.
Zahra was silent without a word. How can he return to oppress his people like this...
"There are so many who love me, Mom. But there, Ma'am Mei is alone." Lirih. Guilt further hit the chest upon hearing the reason why Riyan was here, because of her pregnancy. "My situation is not your fault, Mom. I'm the one asking for that right, and you don't have to take responsibility for my own desires." Say again.
Riyan rubbed his face.
"I told Meisya about your pregnancy, Zahra. Already, we'll talk about it again. You need to rest. Let's lie down." Persuade Riyan to have Zahra put an end to this never ending discussion.
Zahra could only catch her breath, and again exhaled her slowly. Try your hardest to hold back to stay calm and in control.
