We are Not Honey

We are Not Honey
Chapter 7. Flashback Part 3

After Zahra's departure to her study, the twin sisters returned to chat in the treatment room. Rayan told me a lot about Zahra, and Riyan was just a good listener.

Not because it does not appreciate Rayan who wants to get closer to Zahra, but, he does not want the spirit of life from his sister is getting thin.

"If Zahra is unhappy, I will sue you myself in the afterlife." Rayan. The man who was increasingly looking paled, looked seriously at the brother.

"That's why you stay here, and make sure she's happy with your own hands." Riyan replied with teary eyes.

Rayan shook his head weakly.

"Please take care of Zahra, Bang. I love her so much. You're not going to get married to him. Zahra's a good girl." Said Rayan again.

"Udah be quiet. You need to rest." Pinta Riyan's. He knew something was wrong with his sister.

"No. I won't stop talking until you agree to my request." Said Rayan with eyes starting to sayu. "Please Bang. Let me go quietly, for making sure Zahra is in the hands of the right man." Connect again.

The clear liquid that had previously pooled in the eye peluk, began to fall soaked his cheeks. Riyan was no longer able to make a sound due to holding back the tightness. Until his hand pressed the red button attached to the bed where his sister lay so that medics immediately came to his sister's room.

"Dude..." A weak voice that increasingly made the heart slit, again sounded.

The intermittent breathing made Riyan, who was a doctor, start taking action.

"Don't bang, don't do it." Weak hands reached the hands of the brother who was already on his chest and prepared to give help as a doctor.

"Yes, wait here a minute. Brother call Doctor and Zahra. Brother wants to call Mom and Dad." Riyan's permission however, Rayan immediately shook her head weakly.

"Company me Bang. I'm sleepy." The answer.

"Don't, don't close your eyes." Pinta Riyan pleaded. His hand shook, and immediately grabbed his sister's hand then grasped her tightly.

"Zahra, please Bang. Take care of him." Said Rayan again.

Riyan immediately nodded, and the smile on Rayan's face looked so warm. A smile that will lead him to the next life.

"Whisper me a good farewell." Rayan's voice is getting weaker. However, the smile on the lips that did not have blood flow was still clearly visible.

Riyan shook his head with tears that were pouring down his face.

Seeing the breath of Rayan that began to heavy, there was also no more babbling from his sister, making Riyan realize if the sentence requested by his sister is the sentence that will deliver his sister, which is the sentence that will deliver her, to go quietly.

Two sentences creed repeatedly he whispered in Rayan's ear with a hoarse voice holding back the cry so as not to break more and more there. Her tears almost made her voice disappear. Until finally, the bead that had been continuously staring at him full of supplications began to slowly close.

"Son..." A soft voice rang out in Riyan's ears. The man who seemed so weak as to witness the departure of the person he loved the most. Glanced at the expensive clock that was coiling around his wrist then looked at the middle-aged couple who were already inside the room.

Eliana immediately went into Kenan's arms and cried there.

"He won't be in pain anymore, honey." Said Kenan with tears that began to fall soaking his cheeks.

"I'm sad I didn't get to walk her away." Eliana continued to sob in the arms of her husband.

"Go say goodbye to him. Don't let your tears come." Pinta Kenan then slowly approached the bed where his second son was lying stiff.

Eliana kissed her son's forehead. Saying a parting sentence that increasingly makes Riyan can't bear to not shed her tears.

Kenan did the same. The man gently kissed his son's forehead as a farewell. He had long since described what had happened to his son. Because in fact, all the things in the world are just a deposit and at any time can be taken by the owner of His.

The medical team that was supposed to come, just stood outside the treatment room. They knew that if the man in the room was an expert, they would choose to stand there.

Of the few medical members who were there, one of them was Zahra. Riyan saw clearly, the downcast girl, repeatedly rubbing her face using her long hijab.

Until finally, someone he often called Om who was none other than the hospital leader, invited Zahra to enter the room, and ask other officers to return to their respective work rooms.

Seeing that Zahra had entered the room, Eliana immediately rushed over and hugged the girl and cried there.

"I'm sorry for us." Eliana said. However, Zahra could clearly hear the apology. "We knew he wouldn't be able to accompany you, but we still came to ask for you. Forgive us." Say Eliana again.

Zahra did not respond. He knows too. For that, it is not Rayan's fault if he helped build the hope to live longer with the man.

"May Zahra say goodbye to him?" His permission.

Eliana nodded immediately.

Zahra stepped closer to the bed, then looked down next to Rayan's face, although not to touch it because they were aware of their relationship was still a candidate.

"I'll be happy. Is that what you want? Relax, I will be happy. If God won't send a man as good as you are in the world, will I ask you to wait for me there?" Zahra wiped her tears so as not to drip and fall on the body part of Rayan.

Eliana approached again, then rubbed the shoulder of the girl loved by her son.

After saying the words that made her tears fall, Zahra stepped to distance herself so that Riyan and the hospital leader to take care of the body of her lover.

Zahra looked at her future mother-in-law who was still crying in her husband's arms. He rubbed his cheeks with a hijab.

Rayan's body was immediately removed from the hospital, and prepared to be brought home, so that it will be buried today.

Everyone is saddened by the passing of a loved one. Including himself and also the family of Rayan. However, considering that Rayan had been suffering from her illness, it would be better like this. With this departure, it means that God has severed his pain and can again enjoy eternal life there.
