We are Not Honey

We are Not Honey
Chapter 6. Flashback Part 2

POV Author

Morning greetings. The twin brothers had just performed congregational dawn prayers, although Rayan could only perform her duties from the top of the bed. Riyan again tidied the prayer mat he had just used, then put the cloth back into his backpack. After making sure his prayer equipment was tidy, Riyan pulled a chair and carried it to the side of the bed where his sister was lying.

"Dude..." Call Rayan.

Riyan who was already sitting next to Rayan chose silence. Waiting patiently for what his sister wanted to say.

"Since you're here, it's my job to make sure he's happy. Please make her happy, Bang." Rayan.

Riyan, who did not understand the direction of her sister's conversation, was seen frowning.

"He, who?" Ask.

"Zahras. Marry her, Bang." Rayan said with a glare in her eyes, making Riyan not understand.

"We don't fit in, Rayan. You fit him better." Kekeh Riyan diverted the sad situation that was now beginning to take control of the room where he and Rayan were.

"Keeps that I won't get to marry her. Not much I want, Bang. Seeing Zahra happy was more than enough for me. Let's just say this is my last request." Said Rayan again.

"I don't want to grant it. If you want to make her happy, then you have to do it alone!" Said Riyan firmly, however, his eyes looked glazed. As a doctor, he knew that his sister was not well. However, he still hopes, there is a miracle that God can give to a man who looks pale must be on the bed in front of him.

"I'm gonna go out for a second, get some breakfast." Said Riyan wanting to shift the topic of conversation that he did not like.

"Ga need to bang, pause again... Well that's it." Rayan replied with a warm smile when she saw the door of her room open slowly, and Zahra was already in the doorway that opened.

"It's still so early, why is he here?" Riyan asked as he looked at the door, and found that Zahra was already standing awkwardly there.

"Abang will not regret if you want to grant my request." Said Rayan again while putting a smile on her pale lips.

Riyan no longer chimed in. His gaze just continued to follow the footsteps of Zahra who was heading towards the sofa, then arranged the food he brought, onto the sofa table.

"Come there, he said he'd like breakfast." Usher Rayan. The man, who looked weaker, smiled back at the girl who was stepping into the bed where he was lying with the food box that the girl had prepared for him.

Riyan did not answer, so he stepped onto the sofa to eat breakfast and let Zahra help his sister for breakfast this morning.

"You're so pretty."

Rayan's voice was clearly heard in his listeners.

"I'm not a mosquito repellent." He said as he glanced at Zahra. It was obvious that the girl's cheeks were flushed red because of her sister's babbling.

"Please, Bang. Om Kean has made sure there won't be any mosquitoes in his hospital." Said Rayan with a small laugh.

"Oh yeah, breakfast first." Zahra chimed in, and managed to make the man who always teased her, shut up.

"What did you bring me, Ra?" Ask Rayan.

"Everyone who is sick can eat anything but porridge. So get well soon, later after we get married, I'll have a good masakin." Answer Zahra.

"I'll wait." Said Rayan again.

"Ara, where are you going after this?" Ask Rayan.

"Because you're here, and with your beloved brother, I want permission to help you work up front, isn't that okay?" Ask Zahra.

Rayan nodded.

"Udah, I'm full." Refuse when Zahra was about to return to feed himself.

Zahra is not forcing. After returning to help Rayan drink, and cleaning the corner of the man's lips using a tissue, Zahra then moved from her seat to clean up Riyan's former meal.

"Fine.."

Rayan's voice restrained Zahra's footsteps. The girl flipped her body, and waited for what her future husband wanted to say.

"You should be happy, yeah." Rayan said slowly.

"I will always be happy with you." Reply Zahra sure. "I'm out, right?" Zahra asked again as she wanted to resume her steps towards the sofa.

Riyan and Zahra took turns to sit down. Riyan had already returned to the bed, and was sitting on the chair that Zahra had just used to help her sister eat breakfast. Zahra was tidying up the marks she had just used for breakfast.

After making sure everything was neat, Zahra returned to say goodbye to the outside of the room. Not without reason, Riyan is the man most missed by Rayan, for that he wants to give a lot of time for the twin brothers to let go of longing.

"Doctor Riyan's back, huh?" The whispers of the nurses who were in the room where Zahra was.

"Doctor Meisya must be really happy." Take another nurse.

Zahra listened only to the talk of the people in the room, and began to do her work. Indeed, his job at this hospital, not too heavy after he was selected to be one of the nurses in charge of guarding the child of the owner of this hospital.

Even so, he always took his time to work in the hospital if Rayan did not need him too much.

"When is your wedding?" One of the nurses in the room had already bowed in front of the table where Zahra was.

"Not yet to know, Sus. Wait for Mas Rayan to heal first." Answer Zahra politely.

The nurse looked to shake her head.

"Doctor Riyan is still in his sister's room huh?" Asked the nurse again, and Zahra answered with a nod of her head.

To be honest, the thing he dislikes the most here, is that some of his officers like to find out the lives of others. The time that should be used for work, will only be used up to discuss things that are not their business.

"What is it like to be part of their family? Must be really happy, huh? After the wedding, you'll be discharged from the hospital, right?" The successive questions made Zahra even more careless. He did not intend to answer and only smiled at the woman who was still standing in front of his desk.

"I also want to get married, even if the man is sick like that as long as the word. Aren't you?" The girl continued to chatter everywhere.

Zahra put the pen in her hand on the table, then looked at the girl who looked so happy with the discussion, sharp.

"Did you not have a job?" Zahra asked quietly, although the annoyance was evident on her beautiful face.

"So, relax. You're too diligent, but soon you'll be their daughter-in-law." Said the girl still did not understand if Zahra was so upset because her relationship with Rayan became the discussion.
