Throughout the journey, Dance remained silent. He doesn't know what he can say anymore. He thought with his efforts to survive for one day, the night he would be free and rest at home. He was very tired, both body and mental.
Na Eun's words were not a figment. They really went into the campground. A lot of people camp there because of the weekend. It was fortunate that Na Eun had already booked a place, so they did not run out of places.
"Don't camp need preparation?" tanya Tari when they're down.
"Because it was this morning I insisted on using Hae Joon's oppa car" Na Eun said and then opened the car section.
"Eh but we've been walking all day. It must have been-"
"Swimming Dance. It's been ice-cube. The weather is also still cold, so the liquid will be long. After all, when we were on Nami Island, Hae Joon oppa had bought ice." Na Eun explained with a sweet smile. Like there's no guilt. Dance looked over, Renald was no longer there. He searched and found Renald standing some distance away. Dance walked over, she wanted to ask that Renald help set up the tent.
"Yes, I know. No. don't. That's not necessary. What do I buy? Or buy it yourself? Ve you know I'm busy." Renald smiled. "Yes me too. Just pretend, you know that. Otherwise my brother would have complained to my mother and then things would have gone awry. Especially if my grandmother knows. You know how. So I had to do all this."
Dance turned and left. He doesn't want to hear more. He knew Renald was on the phone with Veronica. Ve is his call to Veronica. Dance knows that. He hears it often. And he also knew they were talking about it. Now Tari knows why Renald is here. Hunch's right. He was grateful he didn't expect. No, that's not true. He hoped, even though it was small but it was still hope. Stupidly.
Dari finally put up a tent alone. Seeing Dari put up alone, Hae Joon helps her. When it was finished, Renald did not return.
"Where's your husband?" ask Na Eun. They set up grills and everything else.
Dance shrugged both of her shoulders. "Eitherway. Where do I know and I don't care."
Na Eun looked at Dance. There was regret in his mind. He knows Dance is upset.
"You're mad at me?" ask Na Eun.
"No, just upset."
"I'm sorry. I just think you guys need time to get to know each other. From there you may be able to... Like each other. Especially by directly helping you with her time at the police station and her attitude, I think she likes you." Na Eun explained. He feels so guilty. Dance looked at Na Eun.
"Who said?"
"My word. Am I wrong?"
"I told you, Na Eun-na. He and I will not be together. Despite knowing each other, she won't like me, neither will I. I've decided to stop liking him, I really hope you understand. Not doing this crazy thing." said Tari trying to say as gently as possible. Maybe that way Na Eun will understand.
"After all.." continued Tari. "He already has a lover. The lover he loved. He was her first love. Do you know how hard it is to beat first love? Even though he knows me, he won't turn to me, he won't love me, he won't forget that woman. So stop doing crazy things. I thought you supported me that's why I told you everything. But you're doing this crazy thing. I thought you'd protect me from her."
"I'm sorry Dance-ya." Na Eun hugs Dance. She cried in the arms of Dance.
"H-hey... Why are you crying? I'm not even scolding you." Panic dance sees Na Eun suddenly crying.
"I... I'm like... To be... Friend yang.. Ill-favored.. Hicks.." Na Eun.
"Gosh.. Why are you really? Don't cry already. Shame to see people. People will think I'm beating you, but your body is much bigger than mine."
"Just kid! I know smaller!"
"All right, well I'm a bully. You are worse than me."
"Just kid."
"Didn't you see Hae Joon oppa scared of you? Did he just get out of the military? If you're angry, look like a monster! Aaaarrrrggghh!!" Dance mimicked the sound of monsters making Na Eun beat her. "Ahh sick!"
"You're mocking me!"
"Then stop crying. Your face is ugly if you cry. I'm sure Hae Joon will run away scared to see your face cry."
Na Eun pouted.
"What's? Wh why? Why mention my name? Must be talking about me again, right? I know I'm handsome, there's no need to talk about it that way." said Hae Joon, who smiled proudly.
Dance clucking. "It's so much confidence!"
"Yes, yes, oppa handsome. Did you take the wood look handsome oppa?" ask Na Eun. Hae Joon chuckles and hands the wood in his carry.
They ate dinner in silence. The atmosphere felt very awkward. Every day Na Eun tried to talk Renald, connect Renald's talk with Dance, make them walk together and even talk. But not tonight. He just kept quiet which made Hae Joon confused.
"Uhmmm is there a problem? Why is everyone so quiet?" ask Hae Joon. Hae Joon has not been explained by Na Eun regarding the real problem.
"It's okay, oppa. I'm going to sleep, it's night. Come on Dance." take Na Eun. Na Eun and Tari stand up.
"Hey wait a minute. You two slept together?"
"of course. Oppa with Renald-sshi" said Na Eun Cuek and went into the tent. Renald and Hae Joon just stared at each other.
"female. The mood is always changing" Hae Joon said. Renald just nodded and smiled. He came back with his tab. This whole day if they stopped resting or nothing was talked about, Renald would open the tab. He works on the road trip. Even when Hae Joon was sleeping inside the tent, Renald was still cool with the tab.
...***...
The next morning, he went to the bathroom and went to Na Eun's cafe. It's true that Na Eun allowed her to take a day off, but she felt bad about the other employees, she didn't want to be said to be too privileged. Moreover, he does not want a roof with Renald.
Coming home late at midnight today Dance was not picked up by Alex anymore. I don't know why Dance doesn't even know. Alex once gave her card, in case something happened asked to call her. But Tari never called at all. Just keeping it on his phone is not.
Dance into Renald's suite. There are some people gathered there. The dining table looks messy with a lot of papers scattered, laptops and some maps. Renald sat at the end. He also looks messy. Loose tie, sleeves in fold, buttons on the shirt open even his black hair slightly tangled. No different than Alex. They all look very serious. Like the world would collapse instantly. No one noticed Dance coming, at all. Well that's good, he's happy to be invisible.
The next day, Tari returned to playing with cats leaving early and without breakfast. He walked quickly through the living room without looking right and left. Just go straight to the exit. When he opened the door, he was surprised to find someone in front of the door, right in front of him and he almost hit him. Dance raised her head. That's Renald. He just realized Renald was so tall. He was only as high as his shoulder. Renald's hand has coffee. He's not wearing a tie. The top button was left open, revealing his firm neck and jawline and his clothes were still the same as yesterday.
Tari quickly shook her head, regained consciousness from her shock and walked past Renald.
"Prepare" said Renald, making Dance stop. "We're going back to New York."
Dance turned around and looked at Renald. "Wait, what?"
"There's no need to insult me or mock me. I just need to make sure what I hear is true" said Cold Dance.
"really. We're going back to New York. Please give your resignation letter and say goodbye to your friends. I'll give you three days."
"If I don't want to?"
Renald laughed mockingly. "Have you forgotten you were tied to me? Don't fight and just do it. You owe me." Renald turned around and left, leaving behind Tari who was looking at him with anger. His hands were firmly clenched. He's a real jerk!
...***...
Hearing the news of Tari's return makes Na Eun whine, begging Tari not to leave. Not whining and begging any Dance will be happy not to return. But he knows he can't. Renald has already mentioned his debt. Really sucks!
"You're right. He's asshole! Don't let you fall in love with her, promise me!" said Na Eun then drank the beer until it ran out.
"Who are you and where's the guy who said Renald liked me?"
"Ughhhh I'm really sorry to have those thoughts. It turns out to be a totalitarian asshole." Na Eun poured beer into her glass and drank it.
Dance laughs. "He's only given me three days, two days tomorrow. So..." Dari gave her an envelope with her resignation letter. He knew he was working with his friend, but he was still just an employee. Tari has also given her resignation letter at the Convenience store. The shopkeeper was completely shocked but it was fortunate that the owner was willing to accept.
"I don't want you to go, Dance-ya.." Na Eun started whining, again.
"Don't tell me you're gonna cry again. Everyone will think I'm evil."
"So... You're really going to leave?" ask Na Eun to make sure. Dance nodded.
"I have no choice. For my family."
Na Eun approaches Dance and hugs her. "What a pity you are.. Yes spirit.. I will miss you."
"Hey hey.. I'm not leaving yet.. There's still time." Dance tries to break away from Na Eun's embrace. Na Eun finally let go. "I quit now because I want to enjoy the rest of my time here. Maybe sightseeing? Or come to Chae Ri."
"I'm coming. I'll drive you to Chae Ri's house."
Smiling dance. "Are you okay with permission anymore? Na Eun-na, you don't work at your father's company, but people's company. Can't be careless. You'll be fired." Dance shook her head and drank the cola.
"But I want to come.." Na Eun welds.
"You can meet Chae Ri during Weekend. And we can have fun on the last day here. Okay?"
"You sure?" na Eun's face was still parched.
"Keep and stop looking at me like that."
"I'm sad you're leaving."
"Trust me, me too. Aren't we gonna have some fun tonight?"
"Sure, let's do it! The cheerrss!!"
Dance and Na Eun put their glasses together and drank them.
"Ahhh right. Where are you going tomorrow?"
Dance silently, she seemed to think. "Maybe around here. I'm sure I won't be home... A day!" his screeches.
Justright. Tomorrow was a bit sad, Tari was preparing to leave. He deliberately came out a bit during the day, so as not to meet Renald. He let Renald go to work first. Ten o'clock New dance down to the lobby. He would walk around Seoul, alone. Me time, alone.
A leisurely walk in the lobby. He doesn't care if he meets Renald. He's fed up with her. And sure enough, Renald was there with Alex. Renald is welcoming some important people. She had seen Dance for a moment, but Dari had not seen her, at all.
Suddenly the dance steps stopped. In front of him was already someone blocking his path. He closed his eyes and let out a rough breath. This must be the breng--oh guy?
Dance looked at the man in front of her without blinking. While the man was smiling at her.
"Did anyone die? Why is your face so tangled?"
"Randy?"
"Last I checked.. It's true my name is Randy." said Randy. He laughed amusedly at the confused and surprised expression of Dance.
"What are you doing here?" tanya Dance.
"There's business." answered Randy. Dance nodded.
"Then I go first" said Tari and walked past Randy.
"Where are you going?" randy's question made Dari turn around and look at him.
"Walk?"
"Hm... Then I'll take you somewhere."
"Huh?"
Randy clasped Dance's hand and pulled her to go with him.
"H-hey... Wait for.. Where you going?"
Renald observed all of this. That girl with Randy? What do they want.
